it has it's funny moments but mostly, it's creepy asf.

you will hit a dead end trying to make sense of it literally, so the best way to make sense of the whole thing is to take it as an allegory.

imho all that transpired in the movie is a symbolism for death.

this is my theory; the father dozed off and crashed his car into another car. the woman in white and her baby were the occupants of the car frank crashed into. everyone died instantly except marion (frank's daughter) and her foetus.

the never ending road symbolizes their souls in a state of limbo after they had died in the car accident.

the black hearse symbolizes the grim reaper collecting the souls from their deceased bodies.

marion survived because the grim reaper spared her life.

am still not entirely sure why the doctor and the never ending road share the name "marcott", but the best explanation i could muster up is marion must have overheard the name in her state of comma and somehow attached it to the road.

the mid credit scene got me stumped tho. it revealed that everything that transpired in the film weren't only allegorical, but really did happen too.

Exactly what i thought, though as I saw Marion at the hospital, i assumed that all that transpired in the movie was all in her head as a result of the comatose state she was in.

But then again, that credit scene said otherwise. Believe me, it sure did leave me in an awe state...

I saw some other good mind-fvck movies online, when am done with em', I'd sure drop my reviews.

typically the longer you spend on pre-production, ironing out the details, shooting tests and getting everyone on the same page, the smoother things will go.

What a ride! Perfect film, undoubtedly knocks off Dunkirk as my best war film yet. I especially like that the main focus of the movie was on the characters and not the war itself, and that it took time to breath occasionally and before the final conflict.

What an engrossing story, accompanied by humour, sacrifice, tragedy and love.

That beach sequence was something of extraterrestrial proportions.

Glad to hear that we are getting the remaining 10 episodes, i thought the show had ended abruptly. But December is too far ooo.

That episode was very much painful, Bjorn should have just sought for Rollo's help, they honestly stood no fighting chance against the Rus. And to think that Ivar struck the deadly blow was highly disheartening, it was swift, but painful as hell.

Let's just take solace in the fact that he's currently drinking ale from curved hornes.
