Is the Doctor performing an approved procedure in line with her qualification and expertise?
Under what condition are the procedures performed?
Are there enough trained and competent staff on ground to assist during such procedures?
Does the Doctor disclose the risk versus benefit to patient?

If the answers to these questions are yes, then standards were not compromised.

She is not qualified to do cosmetic surgery! You don’t get little seminar certificates to be able to practice surgery. Ordinary doctors cannot practice surgery except that is their specialization. It takes about an additional 5yrs some times after Medical school to get that training. You don’t know what you are talking about! Even the places she claims she got these fake certificates from denied that she ever attended their certificate course.

Ladies, read the cosmetic surgery contract before you sign it. RIP to the dead, it's painful life was lost. Sentiment apart, if Dr Anu is qualified to practise and she can prove that the lady didn't die out of negligence, she will easily win this case. People die during surgery or complications everywhere in the world. Our former President's wife, Stella Obasanjo died in an advanced country, Spain during a tummy tuck surgery.

Trust Nigerians when things go wrong here,they seek for perfection,that is not even obtainable abroad,and forget consent is signed for a reason.
At the end,it's just the demarketing that would ruin her because police cannot prove charge a Dr for complications that arise,which sometimes happen in surgeries.Also anyone that died cannot be entirely proved to be her fault when an autopsy was not performed.The fatal case may have been as s result of the underlying health issue the patient had,which d Dr couldn't have forseen.
It's like many of the people dying of Covid.
Covid per se doesn't kill directly but causes fatality in mainly those with underlying health challenges.

She’s a regular doctor and from comments of people that know her she struggled to pass her medical exams and graduate. They are even surprised she was able to be a medical doctor. Her certificates and GPA should be reviewed against the medical schools guidelines again. Regular medical doctors cannot do surgeries except that is their specialization. Not to talk of cosmetic surgery which is a lot more complicated. She couldn’t even pass medical school normally it’s now cosmetic surgery she will be allowed to practice.

But in a real sense she did not forced anyone into her clinic. Anyone not please how she was created and decided to challenge it and die in the process its nobody fault.

Well, if she is able to prove that she gives these patients a follow up plan and have document evidence of non compliance then she might be right. Non compliance could range from not keeping follow up appointments, involving in restricted activities and use of non recommended products after the procedure.
In medical practice documentation is very important as it might not be easy to recollect all aspects of every patient's encounter should the need arise.

There is a medical tribunal, equivalent of a high court,where all medical related disputes or malpractice should go to,and do go to;but probably because one influential bigman's wife,concubine or relation has been affected,they want to do it using "force",as is typically Nigerian and "bigmanism".
