What you count as Tanzania - industries, banking, tourism, name any sector - are mostly kenyan owned. They only have Assam . Kenya is manufacturing, financial and name it behemoth of East Africa. No question about that. You can start asking questions on Ethiopia - we are moving there big time. South Sudan, Congo, Zambia and such.

Kenya manufacturing companies are ones calling shot in Tanzania - all the way to Nigeria and Ghana.

We only fear South Africa and Egypt.

we are too rich and that is why we produce them ourselves.

We have spread out our service provision enough such that we had not need of industrial parks.
You can set up a factory in any part of Ghana and get quality service delivery hence the 210 manufacturing facilities under construction all over Ghana.

We have closed the border with them for 3 months after they turned back into North Korea - declared themselves COVID-19 free - a first in the world - and you don't see anybody starving. Tanzania supply kenya with onions, oranges and maize - mostly for animal feeds or be blended with kenyan maize for human consumption - and don't be suprised kenyans lease the land from Tanzania and grow those crops.

Tanzania is a very lazy humanbeing and cannot feed anybody.

We import their poor quality maize for our cows. That is all. They import milk and many other products from Kenya. We have always had positive trade balance with all of them.
