Not enough. They are asking for video of the actual killing, showing when the bullet left the gun carried by a soldier, capturing it as it hit a protester and showing the victim confirmed dead by a doctor right there in Lekki toll gate.

Did u watch the video and hear where the guy said Sanwoolu gave money to the doctor who later shared it to the injured at the hospital?

I also listened to his leaked conversation with an envoy....In that audio he said the soldiers were to be there around 10.pm or later and not that time they were there. See Sanwoolu was aware the military would be there but he couldn't control how those guys carried the orders out

No worries. What is happening here whereby people are attacking and cursing others instead of educating and informing one another is counter-productive. The more people that you get on your side with good information and discussion the more powerful the protest movement will be because everybody here has a forum or gathering where he exerts influence as well.


There is no doubt in my own mind that unarmed protesters were killed by soldiers on that day. I have not even watched any shooting video nor do i feel the need to watch any such video. My guess is that Sanwo-Olu knew something was being planned but he was powerless to do anything about it, making it likely that it was his superiors e.g a Daura mafia and possibly Tinubu team work. I was initially of the mindset that Tinubu would not be that naive as to allow such carnage in his backyard but someone that knows better has told me that his greed surpasses his political savvy. I also suspect that Sanwo-Olu's emergency 4pm curfew that day was his own weak attempt to avert the massacre since he could not call off the dogs sent by his own masters.

The country is actually at a precipice. It is either the political system undergoes significant change or the country collapses. Let us also not forget that the international community is taking notice. If the UN, EU, ICJ, Amnesty international e.t.c take up this case some major heads might have to roll. These are actually crimes against humanity and someone should pay for what has happened.

I know the government and it’s agencies lie a lot, but for the Nigerian army to boldly say their men were not deployed to the Lekki toll gate, inspire of overwhelming evidence of people in army fatigues firing upon people, may be indicative that it was indeed thugs who carried out the operation.

Definitely, people died at the Lekki toll gate; I’m not disputing that fact. Also, bear in mind that some people who were thought to have been killed by soldiers, were later confirmed to have been killed by thugs. However, what is in dispute is whether the NA indeed carried out the murder at the Lekki toll gate.

This video actually suggests that the soldiers went rogue rather than following any command. Not sure how you are still trying to tie this to SanwoOlu because this testimony may even absolve Buhari. The guy said their commander ordered them to stop shooting and was very unhappy they opened fire. That means that was not the command.

This testimony suggests we can put this down to the barbarity of the average Nigerian soldier. If Govt has any sense, they will court-martial these soldiers rather than denying the incident.
