It's so pathetic. My heart goes out to her predicament. This thing has been happening for so long. Family members abroad who have no choice but to rely on family to do their project back home, have continued to suffer this faith. But all hope is not lost. There is a solution. The use of technology has helped countless people to carry out their projects back at home without tears. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02jwtgP2Yac5hQysvrKUocCBxzAbZk1QFtofvuUS4MLtrrEMc5e1WoYUrRNcK83jRAl&id=1150653495&mibextid=Nif5oz |

BluntTheApostle: I have read Papa Idahosa's book - "fire in his bones". He did mention that two young men have up their seats for his visitors who were returning from visiting him in Benin. He prayed for them saying they will become rich. But no names were ever mentioned o! 2 Likes |

My brother please listen to me. I'm a bakery owner and a master baker here in Uyo. I started the business in 2015. After I trained in the Living Faith Church Headquarters (Canaanland) Bakery and other local bakeries at Ota. After my training, I did not have the funds to start; so what I did will shock you. I started buying loaves from Canaanland and flying them via plane to Uyo to sell. That was how passionate I was. Who does that? Lol! I eventually started my bakery small scale and within a year, it grew to become one of the best three brands in Uyo City. My secret was quality and good customer relations. See enh! A lot is required of you if you must go into this business. This decision is not to be taken lightly. There are a mile-long reasons I can give you why you must not just saunter into it. Get yourself a professional for advice. You must know the enormity of the task ahead. I speak this way from personal experience as an owner, baker and Consultant in this business. But if I must give my candid and undiluted advice; now is NOT a good time to enter this business. As I speak to you, I have closed my factory for months now. Almost 40% of my colleagues have done same too. This is Uyo I'm taking about. I don't know of your own base. Generally speaking, there has been a serious downturn of the business. Bakery business is lucrative despite it's huge challenges. But the reality on ground now is that we are no longer making money the way we used to. Why do you think the National body of Master Bakers have threatened to go on strike? Our materials are so costly now that we can no longer make profits. You will attest that prices of bread have hit the roof. As a result people can no longer afford bread as before. Consequently, sales have dropped for the few factories still managing to produce. You will also notice that the quality of the bread you used to buy has dropped drastically. This is the only way the bakers can manage to make a little profit. Personally I have refused to alter my quality just because I want to make sales. I have come too far to lose my position in the market. I reckoned that I rather take a hiatus than to temper with my bread quality that is so beloved by many. I am not discouraging you o! But please seek the input of experienced practitioners or consultants. If you were here in Uyo or neighbouring towns, I would have gladly helped. Goodluck Amigo! 1 Like 1 Share |

As far as I am concerned, Ogun is the worst State in terms of infrastructures. I have lived in Uyo for over 20years. But my whole family live at Iyana Iyesi close to Ojuore. Whenever I visit, I cry literally for Ogun people and residents. What I cannot understand is, Ota should be easily be the most industrialized town in Ogun which gives the highest revenue to Government..., But it is the most deficit in development. We hear that Bishop Oyedepo of Living Faith had volunteered to fix some of the roads but that the Government had refused the offer unless they are given the money for them to do the Job. It is indeed an Irony. Ogun is supposed to be the highest beneficiary as close neighbours to Lagos. Lagos is experiencing huge spill over into Ogun. Industries and businesses have found Ota most convenient for them to site their factories and wharehouses. Even workers and traders in their numbers reside in Ogun State and commute daily to Lagos. Why isn't successive Governments of Ogun State taking advantage of this phenomenon by making their State more attractive? I know what I am talking about! Ota is Hell! |

My feelings exactly! This is a sham job. This Governor has consistently proved his lack of intelligence. So Exxon Mobil was not in the loop before the so called Smart building was constructed? So they are now just inspecting it to determine if the building is worth their attention? This is not what the Government told us at the inception. We were told emphatically that at completion, Exxon Mobil and other multinationals will be tenants. That the goal is to get them to relocate their headquarters. This was the justification for the project. Many of us were sceptical but we just had to wait and see. Question now is, if the oil company detest the project and refused to relocate, what becomes if it. We criticized at the beginning the foolhardiness of this logic. Governor Udom is a Mastermind of white elephant projects. As widely travelled and supposedly sophisticated as we were made to believe he is, he keeps letting his people down. In the mist of excruciating pains of hunger and poverty Akwaibomites are going through currently, this Governor has embarked serially on projects with no direct economic impact on his people. There is this multibillion naira worship center in progress and the new Lagos liason office. Both projects that are basically needless given that Akwaibom has been adjudged by the National bureau of statistics as the State with the highest poverty rate. This is the same Akwaibom that 99.9% are christians and there are churches on every Street. So why build an extra church? Is this the work of Government? This is a State where the unemployment figures are ceiling-high. Is this not indeed an Irony? A state which ranks highest in terms of federal allocation? 4 Likes 2 Shares |

WHY OBASEKI MUST NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER EXTEND THE OLIVE BRANCH! Political correctness! should be thrown out of the window! Obaseki should go into preservation and survival mode. Common sense should tell him .... No! Bad blood, arrows and daggers too many have been shot at each other's back. That move might just be his greatest undoing. Not all friendship is worth preserving. Besides, A good student of the 48laws of power should know these .... LAW 1.. NEVER OUTSHINE YOUR MASTER Obaseki did and got away with it. But he should know and understand that when a man has defied this sacred law, the master will never, I mean never forgive nor forget. The slightest chance he will get, he will exert REVENGE full measure. LAW 15. CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES TOTALLY. The law warned that you should never be magnanimous in victory. Show no mercy! Don't crush partially, totally and completely destroy the enemy,... That way, he doesn't ever have the resources and wherewithall to come back at you. Obaseki will be foolish to make the mistake of extending an olive branch. The table turned, Oshiomole will not spare him. |

No profession is inferrior. so what will you say about the teacher that taught the doctor. Is he inferior to his student? who should be paid higher? Again, you might one to argue that a doctor saves lives so their work is more important. I put it to you that a doctor is responsible for a life at a time. But an Engineer who builds the road, bridge or house; even one who is responsible for the electricity in your city.... Such Engineer is responsible for multitude of lives at once. or should we talk about the bus driver or Pilot? ALL PROFESSIONS ARE EQUAL .... If you ask me! 4 Likes 1 Share |
