The problem with our govt is that they are very good in scoring themselves, the presidency after much noise about not been afraid of boko haram ended up celebrating the independence indoor.
In your write up you did not state what he has done and let me prove to you that he has done nothing worth shouting for, it is all about noise making nothing more. the govt of edo state was swift in placing sign posts on federal roads that where bad and did not reciprocate is placing same on roads constructed by the FG like Sapele road, Akpakpava etc thanking the FG for those roads. Let us be objective in whatever we do. they are busy campaigning that they are building schools knowing full well that those projects are UBE piloted. The leadership and members of the PAN- NIGERIA YOUTH CONGRESS, Edo State Chapter vehemently condemn the arrest and detention of a puppy belonging to Marxist Kola Edokpayi on the 27th June 2011 along Airport Road by over zealous and un-enlightened officials of War Against Indiscipline who also were demanding for the sum of N5, 000 (five thousand naira) for the release of same. We would advise that they had better develop genuine means of revenue generation instead of being exploitative.

On this fateful day, Marxist Kola Edokpayi’ s vehicle broke down along Airport Road and he requested a friend to help him take his puppy home while he fix the car. The friend was arrested by officials of War Against Indiscipline who accused him of hawking the puppy, efforts to getting them understand the situation on ground did not appeal to the officials who arrested the puppy and detained it demanding for the sum of N5, 000 for its release.

We want to categorically state that, such action is wrong, oppressive and negate the principles of social contract. As future leaders of the state and by extension the country, we have developed keen interest in the policies of the present administration which has neglected and oppressed the youth as it deem fit. We are also using this medium to enlighten everybody and calling to remembrance of the crisis that had engulfed North Africa and the Middle East as a result of oppression of a youth by government officials in Tunisia hence we advise that policy implementation and enforcement should be thought out carefully and should be carried out by those who are qualified for such a job.

Our submission on this matter is that, we are calling on Mr. Adekoga and his War Against Indiscipline team to release the arrested puppy within the shortest time unconditionally with an unreserved apology for the inconvenience caused the owner as we not ready to part with any money for the release. We are poised in ensuring that human rights are protected in the society and we frown at oppressive and intimidating measures in the name of sanitization and revenue generation. If this is not adhered to, we shall mobilize a nationwide rally across our chapters to push forward our rights as youths of this great nation.
