you are just being overzealous and it's not good...the ladder you used in climbing you want to push it down for others to become lost...

How genuine is this your information?
It is what it is...that means you've not been following the Customs recruitment...they are supposed to employ about 3200 but were only able to employ about 1500 who are going for training 9th of January... so the remaining estimate of about 1700 are to be selected hopefully from the just concluded supplementary stuff...so those for qualified candidates from the supplementary list will do CBT,physical verification and all that before being finally called for training... it might take the whole of 2022

Supplementary funds (feeding, training and salary) is not in 2022 budget unless the budget is been revisited. The supplementary training should be 2023

I don’t even understand this supplementary recruitment, the last recruitment passports were required to be uploaded doing registration, some documents were also required to be uploaded and once you are done and submit your registration, a print out containing your Customs Application number which you will be used to be identified, ur picture and other details will come out on the print out, but this one nothing.
I don’t really understand.
my thoughts too...that's why its called supplementary... anything can happen...just don't expect too much or put your whole heart in it...some of us are skeptical, but its still good we apply...we never can tell

You're right and he's not completely wrong either. Just to buttress your point further according to what we were taught, a new reform has been made on the Inspectorate Cadre whereby there are only 2 ranks therein now - the Assistant Inspector (Unconfirmed Inspector for Police, Level 6) and Inspector (Confirmed Inspector for Police, Level 7). Prior to this new reform, there was a reform that was initiated to put a barrier to personnel who didn't or couldn't acquire the additional certificate (i.e. Degree) needed to properly advance into the Superintendent Cadre. Heretofore, this category of personnel could attain the rank of Chief Superintendent with their O'Level. Thus, to put a barrier to this phenomenon, the solution was to create an Inspectorate Cadre to absorb them and make them rise to Chief Inspector instead, since they couldn't just be dismissed. Therefore, this present reform (i.e. relinquishing the Inspectorate Cadre) can now come to stay because this set of people are now properly retired. Hope this information helps!

I think Suppomoo is right tactically...but things do change, if you noticed those that were upgraded from inspectorate cadre to superintendent are not writing the current promotion exams to maintain seniority from a memo sent to all commands

Please Danyxy and suppomo et al...please kindly educate us on how to respond to issues now that we are officers....e.g if police is conducting a search,if in time of crises military personnel ask people to raise hands or sit on the floor and you happen to be part of the crowd e.t.c....this education will go a long way so we know our rights and limits as officers...thanks

Any FG employee who cares to see each item of Payment and Deductions on his payslip can do so with ease so long you are being paid through IPPIS. IT HAS NEVER BEEN A DIFFICULT THING AT ALL!

You start viewing your payslip of a particular month starting from 25th day of that same month. Sometimes, it wouldn't be ready until the first week of the subsequent month but to the best of my knowledge, IPPIS usually get your payslip ready few days before month end. For example, I viewed and downloaded my Aug payslip on the Aug. 26 and printed it out. I do that every month and keep them in a personal file for reference purpose.

Account section in your department could help access your payslip too, but why go there when you can do it on your smart phone ...ANDROID ONLY for now. I guess they are working on the version for ios.

- Go to play store and type payroll app.

- Download the one I circled in the attached pic

- Install the app, open it and follow the instructions promptly. It ll show your dash board. There are a number of icons to query whatever you wanna see about yourself.

To the newly recruited staff, your own dashboard will be blank for now but it ll surely display anything you wanna know about your service records once you receive your first salary.

View the attached pics

Good morning Sir...thanks for the enlightenment... we are grateful

Please, I need the help with some info.
Are we to report to our state command ASAP?
Is there any sort of punishment if one reports late to the command?
I am asking because I have something very important to do and won't be done till 23rd of September.
Better go to your command ASAP ...you dey use your hand find trouble...better go and reason with dem cos you'll still document in your command

How come level 6 earned more than 9 & 10

It comes from the Payroll office. Every govt MDA has payroll office that send data every month to IPPIS to determine who to pay and who not to pay, and amount to pay.
So if you f*ck up (habitual lateness to work, AWOL, etc) with your parastatal and the mgt decides to punish you by withholding/reducing your salary, it's the job of the Head to instruct the payroll office to do that.
OK ...thanks
