RationalTV1:
Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government has already squandered N15 trillion in two years with no single road project completed.
Ogorugba said this when he spoke at Otor-Igho community shortly after the Chairman of Isoko council, Emmanuel Egbabor, declared his intention to vie for the position for a second term.
The Isoko North LGA boss said the country had been impoverished by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
According to him, “They have borrowed over N10 trillion, but the projects cannot be seen anywhere in the country. The money has been blown off systematically in the name of consultancy services.
“The former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, came up with so many road projects which can be seen everywhere. But today, APC government has not been unable to add a single kilometre of road to that.”
The Isoko LGA boss, Egbabor had earlier said that infrastructure development, quality health care, and youth empowerment will form the policy thrust of his administration if re-elected.

Politics / Re: Biafra: Reps Member Reveals Those To Be Held Liable For IPOB Agitation by Project2017(m): 9:32am On Sep 26, 2017
Thebest12:
Member representing Remo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Oladipupo Adebutu, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) should be liable for the current agitation by the now proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
He said this yesterday while fielding questions from newsmen in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
According to him, “the body language of APC tends to suggest that there is first class, second class and third class citizenry in Nigeria. To me, that has been the main reason fueling the Biafra agitation.”
Adebutu said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government in the last 16 years had created an enabling environment and equal opportunity for Nigerians to thrive and maintained that the APC should be liable for the current woes being experienced by some sections of Nigeria.
Adebutu, said though IPOB had genuine reasons to agitate, the situation must be handled with caution in order not to throw the country into turmoil.
The lawmaker, however, said similar situations of uncaring nature of the APC government had been witnessed in states the party is at the helm.
“It has now become imperative that people of Nigeria should take cognizance of people they elect into offices.
“We have the similar situation in Ogun State where the government has been uncaring. We have seen wanton destruction of properties,”‎ he said.

This tactic wouldn't work a bit. We in IPoB will remain peaceful until after Anambra elections. The military wants to provoke us. First they were alarmed by the drone video IPoB displayed today, and as usual they wanted to confirm if it is actually working.

Second they want to see the readiness of BSS and access how they will react if NK is arrested.

Thirdly, they want to justify their military presence in the SE by provoking IPOB into a skirmish.

All in all, we are always 100 steps ahead of Nigeria Military. We won't be provoked for now until we win this media war. Right now we want to expose Nigeria for the world to see how cruel they are and once we achieve this - Nigeria will loose credibily, and as-such no government in the world will want to sell Military Hardwares to Nigeria not even China or Russian and once this happens we will strike!!!

No one trust Nigeria Police. We have all encountered their "truthful" ways one way or the other. for them to even say that armies were there, that means the situation is far worst than what kanu's lawyer is saying.

Buhari is a typical fulani man. Making use of his brain is a no no for him. Like wole soyinka said, you can't kill an ideology with physical force. Before kanu, there was uwazuike, after kanu their will be another person.

Arewa youths that threatened a whole tribe of millions of people (both those in support of kanu and against) to forcefully leave the North which is a genocidal attempt are being pampered. They were invited by the FG where they hard a sumptuous meal and a well-done tap at the back. the Attorney general of the federation came out and said they weren't arrested because of the backlash that may come out of it. He even went ahead to reconstruct their statement.
Kanu on the order hand is been hunted like a dog. They even have to deploy armies down east.

If you were an Igbo man who really sucked his mother breast, how will you feel? On day to day bases, the FG are pushing the neutral towarda kanu side.

They Northerners do not own Nigeria. We all do. We will prove it with Biafra.

Boko Haram kills seven in attack on displaced camp

ON SEPTEMBER 9, 201711:52 AMIN NEWSCOMMENTS

At least seven people were killed when Boko Haram jihadists attacked a camp for people displaced by the conflict in northeast Nigeria, militia members and locals said Saturday.

The attack on Friday evening in Ngala, near the border with Cameroon, came as two people were killed in an explosion outside another camp in the Borno state capital, Maiduguri.

In Ngala, a civilian militia member, Umar Kachalla, said jihadists in two pick-up trucks fired a rocket-propelled grenade at the camp, which houses some 80,000 people.

“They (Boko Haram) fired an RPG into the camp from behind the fire fence, killing seven people and injuring several others,” he told AFP from the neighbouring town of Gamboru.

The attack, which happened at about 8:00 pm (1900 GMT), was followed by sustained gunfire as the jihadists drove away into the darkness, he added.

Ngala resident Abubakar Yusuf, who corroborated Kachalla’s account, said: “The casualties were relatively minimal because most people had retired for the night.”

The camp in Ngala was set up in January last year after the return of thousands of Nigerian refugees from Cameroon, where they had fled the fighting.

Boko Haram seized the trading hubs of Gamboru and Ngala in August 2014, during the group’s rapid seizure of territory across Borno state and the wider northeast.

Nigerian troops retook both towns in September 2015 with the help of Chadian forces.

But despite the recapture of the area, Boko Haram fighters still launch sporadic attacks, laying ambush to troops and vehicles as well as attacking and abducting farmers.

– Rise in attacks –
Nigeria’s military and government maintains the Islamic State group affiliate is a spent force but continued attacks underlines the lingering threat, particularly to civilians.

Eight farmers were killed in a series of raids on farming communities on Wednesday and Thursday. Four others were shot dead on Tuesday.

Many of the victims had returned home to try to grow crops to alleviate acute food shortages that have left hundreds of thousands of people on the brink of starvation.

Amnesty International said a spurt in Boko Haram attacks has left nearly 400 people dead since April in Nigeria and Cameroon — double the figure of the previous five months.

In Maiduguri on Friday, two people were killed in an explosion outside the Muna Garage camp for internally displaced people (IDPs).

Babakura Kolo, from the civilian militia assisting the military with security, said two women were asked to get out of a taxi laden with bags of charcoal at a checkpoint.

“One of the women tried to run into a crowd nearby but the explosives concealed under her hijab went off prematurely,” he said.

“A female passenger in the taxi and a rickshaw driver trailing behind were killed in the explosion,” he said in an account supported by a militia colleague, Musa Ari.

Five people — the taxi driver, another passenger and three men in the rickshaw — were injured, they added.

Kolo, who was at the scene, said a second female suicide bomber was also killed with the first in the initial bla

Politics / The Date Of Likely Referendum Revealed -ipob by Project2017(m): 4:28pm On Jul 23, 2017
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said a date for the conduct of a United States of America (US) sponsored referendum for an independent state of Biafra has been fixed.
According to the IPOB mobilizer in the US, Candy Stallworth; the referendum has been slated for September 12, 2017.

Stallworth, who shared this news through a Facebook video shot within the US National Assembly complex, said that five leaders of the IPOB movement in the US met with American Senators last Friday to canvass their support for the referendum.

She also said that the American government declared their support for the September 12th referendum and has also issued supporting documents and certificates to that effect which would soon be made public.

Ms. Stallworth had earlier written on her Facebook Page: “Biafra, the biggest moment we have waited for in history, July 21st 2017, President Donald Trump will declare referendum for Biafra.

“Five of IPOB US Leaders will be entering the Whitehouse for the purpose of referendum that day.

“We have been invited July 21st 2017 for this glorious day”

It could be recalled that IPOB threatened to sabotage the government elections in Anambra State, if a referendum is not conducted before November 18th, 2017..... God bless nnamdi kanu God bless the land of the rising sun
