Various things depending on my mood and hormones, for a late night snack I'll usually go for grapes or oranges, but if I'm feeling really hungry (even when I shouldn't be) I'll make a cup of tea or pap. |

I wouldn't choose to eat only one food for the rest of my life, because I would get fed up with it and I couldn't take it anymore. If I eat the same food over and over again with almost no time in between I don't like this food anymore and can't even look at it for some time. But if I had that choice I would seriously investigate what would be more healthy to me and I would chose it, I doubt we could live on one food though. 2 Likes |

Pavore9: lt cheaper health-wise to cook at home. Anyone who has never experienced any gastro-related infection may think otherwise. fabat: I cook for one...and use my freezer to divide larger packages of meat and unused portions of broths, tomato paste, etc. Cooking at home is better in all respects...much healthier in that you can control what goes into it and control the portions. You guys forgot to factor in labor! Think about the time spent in grocery shopping and preparing the food at minimum wage and things start to become more even. Also, We do waste alot of food when cooking at home. 3 Likes |

Take this: Two Christians were stranded in the Sahara desert on their way to Libya. One was called David and the other was called Christian. They were terribly dying of hunger and thirst when they suddenly came upon an oasis with what looked like an emirate with a mosque in the middle. David said to Christian “Let’s pretend to be Muslims otherwise we will not get food or drink. I am going to call myself Muhammad Gambo” Christian refused to change his name “My name is Christian and I will not pretend to be what I am not”. Okay, don’t say I didn’t warn you, replied David. When they got there, the Imam of the Mosque received both of them well and asked for their names. David said “My name is Muhammad Gambo” while Christian said “My name is Christian”. The Imam turned to the helpers of the Mosque and said “Please bring some food and water for Christian only.” Then he turned to the other and said “Well Muhammad Gambo, since you are a confirmed Muslim I’m sure you remember that we are still in the month of Ramadan and you can therefore not break your fast now? David fainted. moral lesson;try to be urself in whatever u do in life. 81 Likes 15 Shares |

Food / Re: Are Tomatoes Fruits Or Vegetables? by puscifer: 12:04am On Aug 08, 2014 |
Botanically, a tomato is a fruit: the ovary, together with its seeds, of a flowering plant. However, the tomato has a much lower sugar content than other edible fruits, and is therefore not as sweet. Typically served as part of a salad or main course of a meal, rather than at dessert, it is considered a vegetable for most culinary uses. One exception is that tomatoes are treated as a fruit in home canning practices: they are acidic enough to process in a water bath rather than a pressure cooker as vegetables require. |

Religion / Re: Why Do Christians Believe Jesus Is God ? by puscifer: 6:41am On Sep 05, 2013 |
^^^ where did you got your staticstics from, One of the most fundamental beliefs of Christianity is the divinity of Jesus Christ. We Muslim respect Jesus Christ. Islam is the only non- Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt). We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe. We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh). We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission. We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. I will be back with the attributes. 2 Likes |
Religion / Why Do Christians Believe Jesus Is God ? by puscifer: 11:54pm On Sep 04, 2013 |
when Jesus clearly said 'My Father is Greater than I' in John 14:28? Nothing can be greater than God, so by Jesus' own words, we can deduce that Jesus did not profess to be God, because he professes that there is a power Greater than him (Jesus). Why then do many Christians firmly believe that Jesus is God? Where does the conviction come from? |
