Hi,

The way you guys are talking it's like y'all be using phone modem for internet rather than a PC/ laptop. Well, pardon my ignorance, is it up to that level in Naija ? I asked because I'm traveling to Naija next month and I promise couples of people buying them handsets. However if the primary functions of having handset in naija is for internet access could you please recomend a very good brand?  I've got HTC TNyt and iphone but reading this tread kindda me think I probably need a specific brand. Thanks

I was turn off after 10min or so. I was lucky to download it online or else, I would have ask for refund if I went to movie theater. As soon as I heard the name "Unsung", I thought it's rubbish and they should have come out with more creativity, there got to be another name for 142M + Nigerians rather than "Unsung". A movie is a movie but this one is a nonsense !

Peace be unto you.

What if you were born a Muslim and practiced Islam for 21 years then got married (traditional wedding to a Yoruba girl in Lagos), travel to America got married again to a french girl  (civil) and 4 years later, convert to a Christian, and "BANG !" you realised that you can't have two wives. However, you are want to pleased God and yet fear him for his words, although the second wife is not really in the picture anymore ( she left !), and the Yoruba girl is still waiting in naija for her husband return. What  would you advise to do next  in order to pleased God ?

I think you are smart and professional in what you do. I will like to believe that even YOU knows that you are not helping yourself by continuing to respond to all this people that doesn't appreciate your sweet and "wahala" to get to where you are now. I will say what others had said earlier too, "why not leave this people alone and move on? They are just pulling your legs to expose your valuable evidence and it seems you are falling for it. If i were you, I will just man up and take them to court !

This is why it's so difficult to do anything meaningful in naija. How care a business man/woman invest both capital and labour into something and just get "jacked-up" by "jackers" just like that ?

Please leave germinechic alone ! I know you know the better way to deal with her associates, that is, IF she is affiliated with iNAV. We need you to continue working on the maps to improvement rather than wasting your valuable time responding to all Post here, leave that to your lawyer!

TV/Movies / Re: Can Nollywood And Bollywood Ever Work Together? by Qc1(m): 5:28am On Jun 25, 2009
H. Ogunde last movie project (Mr. Johnson staring, 007 James Bond hiself, Pierce Brosnan.) was all about collaboration you are talking about. However you can't compare today producer and director to Nollywood Godfather Ogunde. Like someone mentioned earlier, naija movie with the exception of those Ogunde movie is far off to what you can actually call an"epic" movie. IF most producer/ directors/actors are like those of Ogunde era, YES, nollywood can be compare to Bollywood. And maybe we will be talking about collaborating of the two movie industry today.

Education / Re: How To Improve My Spoken English? by Qc1(m): 3:40am On Jan 14, 2008
spoken English ain't got nothing to do with writing English. You could be the best writer on your block, yet your English could be be really poor. It's all about confident and partially, personality. A good Example will be Hakeem Olajuwon. He speak a very good English behind thecamera however, he is camera shy and try as much as possible to be out of spotlight. I believe your problem is confidence, let me tell you that as of reading this tread, your problem is half-solved! The next level is try to level up in that department. So what if you make a grammatical error? you can't get arrested because of that! MY advise to you is to just let it out your mouth(care free). You can also record yourself on a tape and play-back the audio, it will help you out on where to improve.

Good luck !

your first post shows not only how naive you are but vividly gives you away. I initially was going to educate you but then again, I knows there are many intelligent Igbo here that will subsequently lead you to that path! However, a componetism sagacity is not a garrulous expressity but an hypological complexity, shame on you !!!

A forum is where you can post a thread to receive diffrent opinion /knowledge /advise from others. NOT TO BE CONFUSE with the definition of chartroom.

Real or fiction the reason we are here is to chime in on a thread an contribute our 2 cent to help others.

@ OP (Original poster)

I strongly believe if you take hunger out of poverty, then the problem is half solved. Gentleman, acknowledging your problem is the first step showing how mentally strong you are! I comend your coming out on this to a forum where others should be reminded that it's a dog-eat-dog world (in term of unsafe sex) out there. The very next step you should do is get your girlfriend tested and get counselling immediately.

You can still live a great life to contributing to the awareness of HIV+ by reching out to people(like you did here) and live your dream too. For what is what, You should seek God, from this day on.

I wish you well and good luck.

@ Dios

My LORD JESUS once said A doctor do come for the healthy rather for those who are sick. I don't judge you with those comment you just make. No matter what you did or said I know the JESUS STILL LOVES YOU bro'!

Rev. 3 :30
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

You sound like smart individual to me. You may want to think about the above verse, better yet , pick a Bible.
Religion / Re: Who Was Jesus Before He Became A Man? by Qc1(m): 9:29am On Jul 20, 2007
@ Shahan.

May you continue to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to him be the Glory for now and eternity. Amen.(2Peter 3:18)

@ Fellow brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

sister shahan has said it all, the only thing I could add is Php.2 : 5 - 6(a) Your attitude should be the same of that of Christ Jesus: (6) Who, being in every nature, GOD.

Lord Jesus is not 50% God, 50% man but fully 100% GOD(in nature) and 100% man(in flesh). Remember he did every things we human do including wept for Lazarus(John 11:35) death. Not that he didn't knows that he(Jesus, 100% God in nature) will rise him from the dead, but to show his 100% in flesh as a man. Again, before he was crucified Jesus 100%man asked if it is possible for the father to take the cup away(just like any man will ask of his father), but Jesus 100% God know thy will of the father will be accomplished.
This is not to confuse anyone, The Lord is not double personality but to illustrate what
John 1:1 said.

@ Topic

Jesus Christ was GOD (not the Father but the son in his full father Glory) not a man nor angels.

peace be unto you !
Religion / Re: Can You Attend A Church Led By A Woman? by Qc1(m): 8:25am On Jul 20, 2007
1Corinthians 11: 3 - 9

11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

11:8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.

11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

The scriptures says: God created Adam in his own image ( directly signifies the authority / leadership / head ) and created Eve from Adam's rib. Another fact is, Israel (Jacob) children were actually 13. 12 sons and 1 daughter(Dinah). each of the 12 is the tribe of Israel and not Dinah because God choose men not the woman to head the house of his people. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus handpicked 12 men (again each to represent the 12 house of Israel)and not a single woman even though there are some faithful women closer to him at this time. The son does not contradict his father.

However before God, men and women are equal, we are brothers ans sisters in Christ. women do have their place as well in the church but not in anyway that contradict the living God.

Can I attend a church led by a woman? answer, I will do as the Bible says, but who am I do defer from Holy spirit ?

have you ever introduced yourself as a Nigerian and all of a sudden every one that heard you tightly hold on to their wallet and gags ?

I don't think this is funny but the world have a wrong image about average Nigerians !!!  Nigerians living abroad doesnot even account for 5% of total Population, how then can we say Average of Nigerians.  If the topic is "average of Nigerian living in the west", then that's something else !!!

I know for the fact that the mans was the the 5th of all food basket before he was elected in 1998. Call me dumb but supply food to 20 millions + home is worth far more than your N20,000 accusations.

The OBJ was indeed on of the richest man in West Africa before 1998. (I did not say he didn't help himself with is position as a president. I can name over 200politician that didn't help the country with their stolen money.)
Politics / Re: Is The Average Nigerian Fraudulent? by Qc1(m): 11:05pm On Jul 12, 2007
Nigeria have a population of 130 millions+ .  According to CNN report 93,000 lives in Hoston thereafter making making 2% of the population of the city. In the state penitentiary Nigeria again represent 2 % of total inmate. For fraud charges Nigeria is whopping 23%(CNN report) does that makesaverage Nigerians a fraud?

Assuming there are 1 million Naija living in North America, and they are all fraudulent that is not yest 1% of total p[population of Nigerians. Again I will use CNN report which indicated that 3/4th of Nigerians in the USA are highly educated, what is the statistic of those intergrated into work force of this volume? CNN report do confirmed there are Doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountant, etc. they even show a couple that are both doctors and practicing in Houston henceforth validating the credibility of most Nigerians fraudulent activities.

CNN and their BBC counterpart went on with the "Nigeria are fraudulent" campain without realizing their mistake. Is it fair for a rapist to call a victim wicked? Since our forefathers were enslave 400+ years ago to build the west economy, what did they (the west) do about it up to now?

Is the average Colombians are drug lord?

is the average Muslims are terrorist?

Is the average Americans are liars?

Is the average British are racist?

Is the average Pakistanis are Jihadist?

Those are just the media propaganda ! a nonsense !!! How many people in the west knows about Malawi before the media report about Madonna's child adopotion? How many in the west knows about Namibia before Angelina Jolie and brat Pitt's Daugherty? How many in the west ever have second opinion wrongful accusation of  saddam's WMD's?

When USA spent $250BillionUSD in the first 6 month in Iraq to kill hundred of thousands of innocent citizen in Iraq, where was CNN report? when they did the same in Afghanistan where was CNN report?

Right now, as of last week, USA house of rep. are saying OPEC of which Nigeria is a major player is illegal . Where is the CNN report for Boeing 787 and airbus A380 monopoly with other American merchandise monopoly ?

Nigeria is a country that evenly divided by dedicated Muslims ans Christians. The last time I checked, there is sharia law in the Northern Nigeria, showing their dedication to Islam, are they average fraudulent too?

I read the comments of others naija here saying yes. Are your mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, cousins, niece, nephew , grandparents are average fraudulent
