Better than bread of N1500 a loaf.
At the end, it is a matter of comparative bargain based on what inflation is orchestrating.

Everyone should go to that state's and protest

Why always LAGOS

Bag of rice is ₦80,000 instead of ₦8,000
Next time when Agbero want to collect levy, they should exempt anyone that's not a Lagos indigent. Simple.

This one is obviously to silence thoughts of a coup and not to make the active armed forces work harder.

Politics / Re: These Are Whom You Are Protesting On Their Behalf by RepoMan007: 7:09am On Jul 26
MossadAgent:
1. Long standing fuel subsidy scammers : a key demands by the faceless and headless mob is a return to the old subsidy scam regime. You can't be crying on behalf of Dangote and at the same time demanding to a return to subsidy. You will only be empowering the same cabal that own interests in foreign refineries who make another round of profit scheming through the subsidy regime. You remain a bonafide fool to want a subsidy regime that benefits corrupt NNPC criminals who looted our collective wealth to own interests in foriegn refineries that have seen to our state owned refineries not working while denying Damgote's private refinery from having access to crude to refine and at the same time seeing to FX drain and a dearth in local content aka employment in the downstream sector. You remain a real fool to hit the streets on behalf of those who have continued to scam and loot our commonwealth.

2. FX racketeers: This is another set of criminals you are ready to burn down the polity over. The ones who benefited purely from manipulation and speculation of our currency.

3. Lazy importers and money launderers: who used the old FX regime and inner connections to the old CBN under the likes of Emefile to turn Nigeria to a dumping ground thus suffocating our local industries. The criminals involved in drug business , scammers use the importation model to launder their illicit loot using the artificial rated naira to their best interests.

4. The Buhari cabal: One midget of a former governor of a northern state has began recruiting terrorists from the Sahel as he did in 2015 to participate in the upcoming insurection. This politician has everything to lose as he is being indicted for massive fraud and embezzlement by his successor. He will rather see Nigeria burn to the ground than answer to his looting spree.

5. embittered sore losers of IPOB aka Disobedient: the spirit of Zik , Ojukwu and Hoe-Bi is strong with this crowd. The anarcho Marxist mob of delusional idiots claiming reformists who are only concerned in maintaining the Ironsi handed down parasitic status quo

So, if you like be the fool that you are and go hit the streets for these criminals and terrorists.

These people eat well n live well.

Politics / Re: ‘nil From 2017-2022, $2bn In 2023’; Sudden Surge In Petroleum Import From Malta' by RepoMan007: 5:01am On Jul 26
malali:

Crude Oil is more than just NNPC
1-Crude Oil sales is the generator of revenue for the whole country- the whole 36 states.
2-We don't provide enough crude to fulfill export OPEC quota and local refineries existing before Dangote.
3-The crude market is the world most recognized international commodity market.

4-Nigeria has the right to determine who they sell and buy crude from without any subjugation or coercion.
5-A lot of countries producing crude and exporting also import e.g USA, the crude they produce is not best suited for their refineries, so they export and import the Saudi crude in return, so crude trading is bilateral
6-Nigeria has established trading relationships with some crude buyers internationally for over 30 years, if we stop all of them and sell to dangote today and tomorrow dangote decides to not buy from Nigeria, it will be difficult to re-establish selling to our "plugs" because they might have found other customers.

7-Dangote refinery being a private business entity should source his crude from open market, make petrol and then we are sure of his capacity to function before doing business with him. Building a refinery and effectively running it are 2 different things.
8-If we get involved in Dangote refinery too early, he might use the Nigerian government to run his refinery.Because he is going to need funding and logistics to run the refinery.

Dangote Refinery is still a private business and must be treated as such. Crude oil sale is what the whole Nigeria depends on, we cannot give it to "one person" it doesnt make business sense or protect our sovereignty as a country.
mental case.

Yes, we want to save money, But we are not planning moving from frying pan to fire. We dont plan to give one business man with monopolistic business antecedents all the profit from crude oil sales to one business man.
NNPC has four refineries under their control. What monopoly are you talking of?

FreeStuffsNG:
Petrol is cheap to buy and import from Malta because most oil companies are aware that it's cheaper to refine and produce Petroleum products in Malta.

If it gets expensive tomorrow, Petrol importers and refiners will go elsewhere. Watch out for Venezuela in few months time
What made it totally expensive to import from Malta between 2016 and 2023?
We know your interests from your post. The demons destroying nigeria.

Politics / Re: DSS Uncovers Sponsors Of August 1 Protest, Warns Against Action by RepoMan007: 8:56pm On Jul 25
Compare and contrast the speed these people attain in exposing the sponsor of a peaceful protest to terrorists and their sponsors.
It only reinforces the need for a protest. People are already dying needless deaths and might care less about a "needful" one.

During endsars, they had Benue originated victims too. Calm down. Those people pay taxes in Lagos and not in Aba or Kano so let them protest there. If you are in Lagos and feel insecure, stay at home and guard the C of O of your property if you have any.

Dangote by merely invoking his powers his village people gave him, can order funds back from dubai to build refineries. Isnt that great?

Crazy army. Anarchy is when I am hungry but cant farm for the fear of violent herders and bandits. If they channel a quarter their effort for anti-protest towards banditry, it will be understandable and probably calm nerves.
