Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a question about documents for the SINP prov. nomination - my expression of interest has been acknowledged and I've been asked to submit some documents.
The proof of work experience requires me to submit ref. letter and 3 other proofs of evidence - can anyone help me with what 3 other proofs I can submit.

Do they SINP people reach out to the employers to confirm your role etc?

Thanks.

Hi guys, its been a while. Wanted to give a little update, I waited for 3 weeks to get my SSN but it didn't come through so I went to their office to apply again. You can verify the address they have of you at the port of entry so you would be sure they have the right address to mail your social security number to.

As regards medicals, if you dont have immunisation records they would charge you for that depending on the hospital its mandatory.

I know its a long wait, but just be a patience my people it would all be worth it. As per career you can start looking at what you would like to do while you wait. For me I switched to I.T and it payed off cos its in high demand here so put that in mind while you wait.

Hello guys, my concern is the vaccination records- I don't have any but I know what Ive taken. Will this affect my medical screening?

Hey there davsquared, Im going to northside in a week and need your help on choosing a doctor, pediatrician etc. sent you an email, do respond pls.thanks

davsquared:
I used a different practice. North Atlanta Ob-gyn. Dr k. Godwin was my doc.
I showed all d tests I did and dey accepted it . Just dat HIV which dey said dey have to do in d thrid trimester and dat even if they dnt do it, Northside will and their bill may b higher. I just decided to kukuma do it dere. Wen I went to Northside on d day of delivery, I showed dem everything. Dey just made copies.

Paediatrician was Dr Athanasious. U can pm for his contact details make I no commit on d thread.

D refund na God ooo. I was misinformed about what constitutes hospital 2 days stay so I was doing everything to avoid staying longer . D fear of extra day bill was d beginning of wisdom. Turned out I didn't stay complete sef!

[
quote author=LadyOk post=50027008].
Pls which paediatrician did u use? Seems mine is more expensive, make i port. How come they accepted ur lab results from naija? Dr V Andrews said northside dosent accept results from outside d US and she is charging me $750.

Hello people, I need help with Hospitals in Atlanta - I am considering Northside because it is close to where I will be staying but it seems a bit pricy @ $5500 for only hospital fees.

Also need to find out if I really need to write the consulate of my intention to go give birth, I already have a valid visa and gave birth to my first child in California 3 years ago. Please assist. Thank you

subsidy12: Hello house, my wife had our baby in Atlanta early this year, her visa dont run out till February 2015. However the info i heard is when a woman is breastfeeding it serves as contraceptives so i just continued to de fire de go. Anyways the short of the story is that she has carried belle again and we intend to use the visa again. I hope they wont raise any eyebrow considering we just had a baby on her first visit and she is back the following year for the same purpose.

OmG...this is too funny... Hubby and I havnt had sex for about three months now...wow..u wasted no time at all... I doubt it'd be a problem, as long as u paid all ur bills and have ur receipts...u re good to have another child..I might do that as well, havnt decided yet though whether I am ready for another child so soon...

Godsbillionaire:

Ring of God congratulations on the birth of your baby. you said you put to bed in st mary's los angeles, i wanted yo know if its the same hospital as st mary's medical center long beach california?

If it is, what was the cost of delivery if it was straight and the cost of delivery also if it was C.s? I'd also like you to provide me with e-mails, website and phone numbers of the doctor you used or any other correspondence numbers where possible

and finally since you said initially that it (st mary being a catholic hospital, wasn't expensive and later on after delivery you now said you ended up paying more than you budgeted for , i'd like to know if the hospital provided contrary information on their website and you later found out that there where hidden charges or rather if not so if the extra budgeting had to do with complications or longer stay in the hospital.

Please kindly reply thank you

Hey, yes I used st Mary med center in long beach... Doctors fee was 2500... 3500 for cs and hospital fee was 3000 and 5600 for cs.

You pay for anything extra, ultrasound, blood tests etc and that was pretty expensive especially if u do it at the hospital, better to go to outside labs. Thr wer no hidden charges just that I went in for false labour and was admitted for a few hours and the bill came up to over a thousand dollars for just a few hours..so things like that shot my bill up.

You can email Lolita.johnson@dignityhealth.org and tell her to direct you because she has changed her department from admitting but she helped me.ALL D BEST

Hey house just a heads up. For all those coming pls ensure you get a medical report deeming fit to fly. A lady just gave birth on a delta airline from naija to America, I know someone who was on the flight, they had to land in Senegal and delta spent a lot of money lodging all passengers etc. sooo just to be on the safe side, carry a report that says you are fit to fly.

Cheers
