Why should you be scared of your follow human? As far as i'm concern, he's a chicken, mention his little name to God in prayers n see him rather come n apologise to you except you don't have God. |

The University of Port Harcourt has been ranked the sixth in Africa and the first in Nigeria by Times Higher Education (THE), a United Kingdom-based authoritative source for information about higher education. Placed behind four South African universities and one Ugandan university, UniPort made the cut following the number of papers presented over a period of time. In this chart by world’s most trusted rankings provider, THE, it reveals the first glimpse of future Africa University Rankings. “The university rankings provider has revealed the top 15 universities in the region, based solely on their scores for research influence – in other words, how much African universities’ research papers are referred to and cited by other academics across the globe,” THE said in a statement. The research institute noted that: “To be included in this future-gazing table, an institution must have published a minimum of 500 research papers in the five year period assessed with at least 50 papers per year,” it said. University of Port Harcourt was the only Nigerian university ranked in the top 15. The full table, which contains the top 30 universities in Africa, will be revealed at the inaugural Times Higher Education Africa Universities Summit, which is billed to take place on 30th and 31st July at the University of Johannesburg. “As the first major public consultation on the future THE Africa University Rankings, academic leaders and opinion formers will discuss plans for a full and comprehensive ranking for the region. “This new ranking will be based on Times Higher Education’s respected World University Rankings, but shaped following this initial meeting by bespoke metrics designed to meet the region’s specific challenges. “Times Higher Education is therefore calling for opinion formers from across the region to attend the Summit, founded with University of Johannesburg, to take part in the debate and help shape the future of university rankings in Africa. “To attend the Summit, delegates should register at: www.theworldsummitseries.com/aus2015 The ‘snapshot’ table, based on just one of THE’s five respected World University Rankings criteria – research influence, gives a good indication of what a full university ranking might look like for Africa and sees two South African institutions – the University of Cape Town and the University of Witwatersrand – take first and second place respectively. My Abonnema brothers n Rivers youths at large, take my invaluable piece of advise n live on. Don't dissipate ur energy anymore for our power drunken politicians. Election has come again, look at them looking saint going from ward to ward making promises, holding series of meetings with the youths, throwing money around, if you call or text them, they will at once hang up n return the call immediately or text back, they will even drink and eat with you, make you feel important to them just to buy you over to achieve their selfish mantle of power, some gullible youths can even kill for them. Trust me once they get hold of the power n they have the mandate, you become their discarded paper ready to be shredded, in other words 'used n dumped', call or text they won't answer or bother to return ur call or text back, if you happen to run into them in a function or in a mall, they will look down on u n act as though they've never met u. My brothers don't sell your conscience anymore to these good for nothing politicians, they don't deserve that luxury, they really don't have anything to offer, u r only being used, they don't care or a give a heck about you. Therefore, don't allow yourself to be deceived anymore.#wiseup#dogoodthingswithyourtime#useyourhead. 1 Like |

Bro, it is better to die a poor man than to live a cursed life in the rest of ur life. Remember the case of Joseph when his master's wife seduced him and forced her way to lay with him but he fled from her. One of his statements he made was how can I sin against God and my master. Bro my candid advise to you! is to seek God face for help, just exercise faith in Him he wil provide that money for you, I believe His hand is not too short to provide. Don't commit that big sin. That your friend advising you to have sex with a married woman is not a true friend, he's rather advising you to your doom, avoid such company. 1 Like |

A lot of furious youths in the streets of Nigeria bearing different tags of protest n issues-NANS protest, Ex-millitants late stipend protest, protest against INEC, 'Occupy Nigeria Protest', BringbackourGirls Tag protest, Biafra sovereign nation protest, shiites protest, #Buharigate now trending on twitter, kidnapping is the order of the day, unemployment on the increase, workers retrenchment or lay-off on the rise, looters are arrested n tried none has gone to jail to serve as deterrent to others, no stolen money recovered. However, all these has witnessed significant slow down in our economic activities n weakened our GDP, scared tourists n foreign investors to fly into such a fierce country n invest, youths has completely lost confidence in their leaders n representatives... If this is not frankly addressed n curbed I see Nigeria risk civil anarchy n I presume the youth of Nigeria taking a revolutionary approach. Is this the way forward ? The government, NGO's, Private Institutions, communities leaders n monarchs can all play a civic vital role- should all contribute their bid or quota in engaging the youths in developmental n sustainable projects, teach them trades or skill acquisition, grant the youths local n foreign scholarship for further studies, creates jobs n make it equal opportunity, employ the youths n shift age n class of degree barrier, provides social welfare to the unemployed, give us adequate power supply to encourage investors, youths should be represented in the government n not some grand pa's at a retirement age because they understand more where the shoe itch, fulfilment of campaign promises . Conclusively, with all these in place, trust me the youths will be too busy to engage in social vices n economical breakdown activities... #IJUSTENGAGEDMYBRAIN. |
