Politics / Re: Northern Voters Shatter Buhari's Presidential Hopes by sartorius(m): 3:06am On Apr 12, 2011
Yeah, we expect the results to differ as buhari wud win on total votes count in the north esp, but pdp wud garner a good percnetafe, that's all it takes to win.in the s-west he wud do well. Go out and just sample opinions esp of the masses, they like gej and he wud win some states in the s-west.

Ondo-lp presidential cand is gej

Lagos-if all the minorities, and his supporters from s-east and west vote him, I wouldn't be suprised if he wins lag.
Osun, ogun gej all the way he wud come close 2nd. N-central gej in 2/3rd.buhari wud come a dist 3rd in the whole of the south and 2nd in ncentral, while he wud win the other zones

Politics / Re: Ask Buhari To Step Down For Me – Ribadu by sartorius(m): 12:34pm On Apr 09, 2011
Bb backward brothers,

I will vote for ribadu next 4 yrs, U just a bit unexperienced to handle nigeria, U contradict urself a lot, but I admire ur courage, pls don't go into ur shell like buhari does,he only comes out every 4 yrs and during tribunals,be involved I know u will Cos we ve to do it together. Jega and inec an example.
Unlike do it alone buhari just imagine if personality clash btw bb. Where wud will be. The former a dictator who truncated a democracy, the latter a fiery pastor, both ve strong personalities.

At this point we are in the middle of a global economic recession two mini wars one up north one down south. I think we need peace in n-delta so dat we cud ve more earnings power gas stations create a peaceful enviroment for foreign investment and new jobs in the petrochemical industry, privatise the refineries,

I know we need to tackle corruption, pdp is very corrupt, america is still corrupt even after 100 yrs of democracy, its not a one man thing we need to do it together. There is corruption everywhere even with posters in nairaland, I hope efcc wud be sttrenghtened it has Legal backings, we don't need to be jail everyone frm 99 to taclke it, there is so much work to be done, Lemme stop here, Don't step down, if he steps down for you. I will vote for u
Politics / Re: New Ipsos Poll - Jonathans Lead Grows, Pdp May Lose More States by sartorius(m): 12:07pm On Apr 09, 2011
Lol @ all.its better to swallow the bitter pill. Buhari wud loose to gej.
The poll result looks credible based on demographic analysis. Its gonna be very interesting the n-assembly wud be filled with different colours, pdp might loose majority.

Swest lagos n-assembly action congress,

presidency -gej, Lag has a large population ss se other minorities and also swest, ribadu wud also steal a lots of voted from swesterners and ac loyalists

Ogun na ac
Pres pdp, Pdp win here wud be slim,

osun. ac wud win, ogbeni rauf is fresh so ac is strong, gej wud win marginally,

but pdp wud win
Ondo pdp is still ok there agagu jimoh ibrahim and the weakness of ac wud aid pdp, pple wudnt forget the ajasin story too, lp mimiko party has also backed pdp.

Oyo.3 zones 3 hrse race akala ogbomosho ladoja ajimobi ib olam adeshina ac leader from 3rd zone akala is ladoja and ajimobi are both ib, ib has largest population. There is a popular sayin that u don't rule twice.so ajimobi is favoured,

Ekiti. Again ribadu is a spoiler, ac wud sweep the na and gej wud win marginally,

S-south south east he wud win 2/3rd in n-central too. He wud loose all nwest except kd. Neast wud go buhharis way,

Abeg.
at this point in time we are moving slowly agreed, Its better than moving backwards that's bb(backward brothers)
Imagine if there is disagreement btw tunde and buhari
They both ve strong personalities,

Politics / Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by sartorius(m): 12:04am On Apr 09, 2011
Tommorrow is going to be interesting for the very first time pdp would have a minor majority can and cpc wud see higher no of honourables and senators. There wud be violence in some parts there wud be riggin and snatching of ballot boxes.hmmm someone actually offered me 3k to vote for his candidate @ a fuel station. I lectured him, but that money is tempting to the av nigerian o
Politics / Re: Lagosians: Tell Us Who You Are Voting For As President by sartorius(m): 8:27pm On Apr 06, 2011
This thread and its result wud be most dissapointing. Hw many nigeians ve access ro internet, bb is strng in the n-west. And in like 4 mnts the internet cos of bakare. all anti bb dnt waist ur time.free and fair gej wud win. Simple. Though I must use these opportunity to urge him to form. Good team, he has a strng political structure, he needs a good economic team and rest history
Politics / Re: Who Will Win The Southwest? by sartorius(m): 12:38am On Apr 06, 2011
Oyo state
3 contenders, akala ladoja and ajimobi. Free and fair akala is out of the race. But in oyo.3 zones ibadan ladojas home
Ogbomoso akala igbarapa lam adeshina. Ajimobi and ladoja are both strong in ib which is the most populated. ACcord doesn't ve any structure.its likely ac carries the day. Gej shud marginally win

Osun. Ac are ready to match pdp thug for thug. Naturally pple wud tend to vote ac. Gej

Lagos fahola gej

Ondo Gej
Ekiti not too sure
Politics / Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Muhammadu Buhari? by sartorius(m): 11:14pm On Apr 04, 2011
Wadeoye, ur premise is not true. Gej has a national spread of supporters.and he would win, Let me say this. Am not voting for pdp. M voting for the best cand for nigeria now. The top contenders are not inspiring, BB is out of tune. Ribadu is inexperienced, gej has not tried but hopeful.others are jokers.

A BB presidency wud be to arest all, reverse most policies,he wud disrupt the peace process in the south. Fuel ethnic sentiments.leaving nigerians hungrier and regretfull.
Politics / Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Muhammadu Buhari? by sartorius(m): 8:30pm On Apr 04, 2011
Never!!!!! muhamud buhari Never, I will never vote for muhamud buhari because its not in the best interest of this nation when we are faced with a global economic recession,he not intune with the free market, he has abused and would abuse rights too.freedom and human.
-I will not vote for him cos he doesn't ve the temprament to rule us. We are in the misdt of a crisis in n-delta and the north.he would retard our progress.

Sorry for the economic waste which was saturday.
If @ 11 pm on fri why not declare this early.peoplw wud ve gone abt their business made more earinings.the cost to inec is much too. Pple have to be remobilised.,our crafty politicians wud have related with human and materials resources , after close to N100 bill spent, there is no reason why materials shud have been secured, in a strong house, a week ago, Zonally distributed , on wed in mini stong houses 6 zones, they are loads of charter airflights over europe and americas, it was a national assignment, :e who fails to plan, plans to fail, ,no plan b and c,

Sorry to a 96 year old woman who I saw , vote and insist to be heard.

South west revolution,
Acn wud rule over the west.cnpp over most of the north.pdp seast, ssouth, ncentral.

Politics / Re: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by sartorius(m): 8:02pm On Apr 01, 2011
Ptf was a creation of the military, the constitution remains supreme in a democracy, and the n-assembly wud ve to amend the constitution, remember goverment has no business in business, we ve gone past the eras of ptf buying drugs and all that the world is global I seriously doubt if buhari would make us progress. With a buihari as president all I see is persecution and hey the courts are corrupt so we wud just be waisting time.4 yrs and maybe nothing to show What we need is policy stabilization and reforms. What draws bb is his anticorrruption . A dogged fighter as head of efcc would do. Foi wud aid, corruption runs in our veins we all ve to fight it.peace gej would give, the south south has carried the burden of these nation, we need to support them even if his tenure brings abt a improvement to their livelihood its only fair. Without peace in n-delta earnings would drop and f-investors would run away. We need stg institutions not personalites
Politics / Re: If Buhari Wins, I Will Hang Myself by sartorius(m): 7:09pm On Apr 01, 2011
Passage of foi
Peace in the n-delta
Electoral reforms
Salary increase for civil servants
Macroeconomic stability
He has the temprament buhari doesn't
Gej listens a former dictator wouldn't

Corruption can't be fought by one person that's why with the foi we can pressurise the govt. We need peace in the nigerdelta gej wud give us that, buhari wouldn't, we need policy stabilisation to lean towards privatisation, gej wud not buhari. With all the ethno eeligious crisis dnt u tinK a calmer person wus aid.

We need a democrat, all candidates are not inspiring and I feel and see frustration among the ever growing unemployes youths.but hey this aren't ordinary timEs even amerca is suffering, as we vote let's use our brains not emotions
Politics / Re: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by sartorius(m): 6:51am On Mar 31, 2011
Pls and pls kets be fair with our comments, gej is not that bad maybe he is in a very corrupt party, agreed but the others aren't any better.nn24 is only on dstv what's the percentage of nigerians with access. What I know is that our politicians would flock to anyparty that's in control. What I don't want is a sensless roundtriPping for the next 4 yrs. Buhari am sorry am a capitalist would u allow the priv sector to drive the economy, I don't think so, I know loads of pple wud be tried in our corrupt courts and after 4 yrs little wud be done. Gej 2o11

Politics / Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by sartorius(m): 8:28am On Mar 20, 2011
as it stand nw only pdp has a widespread reach, though cpc is strong in the north and at this point in our election history no one else has enjoyed as much goodwill as Gej.
Politics / Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by sartorius(m): 8:23am On Mar 20, 2011
i cant believe that people actually want BB. A Bakare as Vp would evntually resign> What nigeria  needs is  peace reforms(continuation of privatisation, cut on goverment size)infrastructural devpt(power education and agriculture)

BB wudnt bring those changes< Buhari is a sincere man though but he doesnt have the temprament to rule us as a democrat> these were the same flaws OBj had , though till date i stand to be corrected but his goverment esp 2nd term onwards sailed us through the right path. then along came yaradua with all the policy reversals>I have to point here that yaradua took us back but its sad that Gej hasnt moved us forward, but there is hope.

as earlier highlited we need peace ine the Nigerdelta, he has given us that, we dont need three yrs of policy reversals and i dont think buharis govt would be small, dont know if he believes in privatisation> another plus for Gej is that he listens, talk is cheap, Bakare is a catch, Ribadu is inexperienced though i believe n him too, but lets face facts. What has shekaru done in Kano, take a trip there and u would know what i mean>>>>Obama sweeped the worls withe rhetorical flourishes, go and check his popularity rating today.

Gej campaign team and advisers have been a mishap, but @ this point if there is no peace in niger delta, our earnings would dwindle, investors wouldnt come, he has held forth over trying periods and he would do so, he needs to shakeup his team and  implement reforms.
Politics / Re: Dbanj Interviews GEJ On STV by sartorius(m): 11:06am On Mar 19, 2011
all this buhari bakare stuff is crap> am not just comfortable with them, fine i am dissapointed with Gej, he had tremendous goodwill especially post yaradua, and yet his team, policies are hurting. he is a better democrat than buhari and ribadu. Obj even as much as he is hated formulated very good policies that saw the reemergence of a middle class and brought abt a lot of opportunities, but he wasnt democratic and we all know what followed. Gej has the temprament to lead a nation like nigeria, he still has maority support and would win a free and fair election cos of the party machinery widespread and goodwill but his campaign team is doing him no good and the people around him have no clue of what we need as a nation. Its tempting to join the band wagon and criticise but for now the lot of aspirants is dissapointing< buhari is too draconian and i wouldnt rust him even with my fingernail.ribadu is not just experienced to lead us but hey we never can tell,
Politics / Why Should We Elect Gej by sartorius(m): 7:46pm On Dec 31, 2010

Disguy, sorry to let you know. that mallam is the NSA, so you have little or no information, he does. it has been well documented all over and annoyingly so, that there is a glut in the economy. i speak from real life experience. not quoting the same people who praised soludo. I tried getting some capital from some banks and i know where it pinches.

Dont get me wrong, it was not his fault, good intentions alright very bad approach. actions were dictated by anger and no matter what happens we aint going nowhere till late 2011. I have to add he doesnt have a blue print and some of his recently introduced measures are ridiculous e.g Universal banking, ATM etc etc
Politics / Cbn Reform Damaging Economy, Says Gusau by sartorius(m): 7:41am On Apr 19, 2010
http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=171311

over to you Ag Goodluck.

Recently, the former Minister of State for Finance, Remi Babalola, told Sanusi that the Federal Government would like to see the blueprint on the banking reforms. The government’s demand, analysts said, emanated from the seeming confusion Sanusi’s conflicting pronouncements have caused

A typical example of bad reforms is the new directive that bank\'s should not operate ATMs outside their branches, this is one of the dumbest regulation in the banking world. Some un.informed Nigerians thought that would protect them against ATM fraud

ALISTAIR DARLING is the Chancellor of the British Exchequer. He is the British equivalent of Nigeria's Lamido Sanusi, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Confronted with the challenge of stabilizing the British banking sector in the wake of the global financial crisis in the last quarter of 2008, Darling decided that a better approach was to handle the situation quietly, obviously in order not to undermine public confidence in the country's financial system.

A critical examination of his approach has become imperative against the backdrop of the controversies that have trailed the actions taken by the CBN Governor Lamido Sanusi when confronted with a similar challenge here, as was Mr. Darling in Britain.

Asked by The Telegraph what he did in the wake of the crisis to save the British banking system from collapse, the Chancellor of the Exchequer said:

"There were many days when I knew that unless the Bank (of England) was making [covert] interventions [such as the secret loans of £61.6 billion to HBOS and the Royal Bank of Scotland], then literally banks would have had to shut their doors and cash machines would have been switched off. People should be in no doubt that the world banking system was on the brink of collapse in October 2008.
Politics / Re: Ibb: Younger Generation Can’t Rule Nigeria by sartorius(m): 11:48am On Apr 18, 2010
well its easy to say, but it seems you guys dont understand our political class and the system. ask pat or our dear Gani. there is only one party in nigeria. the opposition leaders only think of their self interests and so its gonnna be hard.
yaradua took us 3 years back due to his ill health and monolithic views on nigeria, he kept key portfolios to people who lacked capacity to manage and the end result is that programmes that were meant to be continued were jettisoned and a few good people were relieved of their posts.

at this point ,the ethno-religious sentiments have never been so highesp the north- south discord. I would be suprised if the pdp doesnt zone the presidency to the north and the primaries would be very interesting.

In view of these we need a stabilising force with an understanding of the complexities of nigeria, however i cant disagree less that the younger generation cant rule nigeria. BUT WHERE ARE THEY
