Katrina was horrible . . my sister lived in New Orleans at that time, and it took her 18 hours to come home which is 45 mins away.
Many people we knew passed, and most Nigerians we knew that lived there Lost everything.
Sigh . . the stories my mom told me when she was volunteering at the hospital was frightening, .
Most of the nigerians in our city came together and helped Nigerians displaced from Katrina find new places to live.
The people who were staying with us had the cutest set of twins

Haiti has always been ruled by a corrupt dictatorship. It isnt about not having money . . . they get direct aid from the US government . . . where does it all go? building palaces while the people go without food?

The Americans here make me laugh . . . i thought Bush and FEMA were at fault for Katrina? Why are you not holding the Haitian government responsible for neglecting their citizens? I wonder why you werent all soliciting for donations during Katrina.

If UK experienced an 8.0 earthquake, they WILL survive WITHOUT aid because as a society they are well prepared to deal with such. Why are nations with majority negroid races always portrrayed as poor, starving and unable to survive without white support? Is it a coincidence that the poorest nation in the western hemisphere is a predominantly black nation? Haiti shares the same island with the Dominican republic but that country is FAR FAR advanced compared to Haiti.
Why is Haiti so poor and nothing more than a clone of Niger Republic?

Will relief supplies rebuild the Haitian economy? Will it provide essential services like hospitals, good roads, rescue services and jobs?

Absolute waste of time. I'm more perturbed by claims that Port Au Prince has no functioning hospital at present, no earth-moving vehicles for rescue operations, no roads, no emergency rescue services.

Donating "relief supplies" will not help Haiti stand on her two feet. It simply perpetuates the long-held opinion that blacks are in every sense inferior to other races.
