Nonsense, as if you all cannot march to God and give him a deadline or speak concerning Nigeria's many issues. Is Adeboye God? Must Adeboye speak if he doesn't want to? Misplaced priorities, carrying placard with rubbish words kakari...Must he speak about Leah?

Thanks Ayooluwatoni, I want to get it well please so I can explain this to her, in the receipt given to her the website is stated, through the website, there is a portion that states if your reference starts with CALA click here and if it starts with GHAN click here, we click the GHAN, because that what the reference number start with and after inputting the numbers and date of birth, we get the error message. I am not familiar with it myself but I will try it again. Thank you.

Good morning all, I am writing on behalf of a friend. This is the issue:

please I need suggestions and advice regarding this, submitted application, paper route some 5 weeks ago. Tracked the application after the 3rd week and the information was that the "application is being processed in Ghana". Tried to check the status of the application a week later by tracking and the response is "No record found" and it's been like this till this morning. I initially thought it's was because I am using phone, l was at the cafe yesterday, and it was the same. I even had someone to assist that perhaps I am not picking the correct reference number, but the result is the same. Please what do l do. I have received no communication nor information since I submitted.

I look forward to your suggestions and advice. Many thanks

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: which should i go for among these two jobs? by slimslim: 10:13am On Jul 17, 2013
My advice: Go for the MTN Connect job. There is career growth compared to a MFB where you will be given targets to meet apart from your normal duties.

I remember an accident at victory drugs also in Festac where a 'patient' wanted a particular drug but the pharmacist refused becos it is a controlled drugs, despite appeals by even other customers including my humble self. I was angry with the pharmacist becos it was late ...around 8.30pm.. How can the 'patient' get doctor's prescription at that time.? And to cap it all, we were locked out like prisoner! I was angry and stopped patronising victory drug using oxpharm instead. But now, I know better! I pray the good Lord sees Nonso through in this ordeal. He has attended to me several times, and I see him as an intelligent person who has a kind of dedication that we hardly see among the youth of today. I hope he is just punished for his mistake.

Politics / Re: Have You Paid New Electricity Tariff? by slimslim: 9:39am On Jul 13, 2012
The question is "where do we go from here" What do we do as Nigerian, where can we go to complain because the criteria for the increase is not known.
I don't have a meter. For the more than 6years I have stayed in my present location, I have been given estimates which the highest in a particular month was N3,000.00. My bill in May was N1,100.00 In June it is N11,300.00. Electricity in the area is still erratic and as in previous months and years, apart from refrigerator (just one deep freezer), all electrical appliance are put off between 6.30am and 7.30pm daily Mondays to Fridays and sometimes on Saturdays. So why the over N10,000 difference in bill.

To me, this is another punishment to the citizen of Nigeria by the GEJ government.Chikena

We never see the light self, dem don they increase bill.

I got bill of N11,500.00 yesterday for the month of June 2012. In May 2012, my bill was N1,300.00. I don't know where the additional N10+ comes from.

My bad!!! angryMy post amended),

Hello,

A good place to work. Flexible working time, good overtime, bonuses especially at the end of year etc. But like most Nigerian companies, your growth depends on who you know, who brought you in etc. - different stroke for different folk. My advice, Take up the offer but please don't stop the search.

Take care

So this is already on Nairaland! Heard about it too.

I would have been a victim! But I thank God for His direction. I was tempted with almost 3 times my pay! The most painful aspect is the director that was sacked. He was a director in a rival company, lured to work with Dangote and asked to go after less than 14months in service. Even Management Trainees were not spared. All were sacked.

Please be careful and ask good questions before taking that job. Not all that glitters are gold.

Back in those days, my younger sister can sell anything , from indommie to coconut candle, oranges, (any fruit in season). We, the elder ones will later borrow the money from her, we never return such debts.

Our parents must not know she sells. (Does her trading when mum and dad are at work), we used 'not reporting her" as ransome for not paying wink
