How much is a family of three supposed to pay as

Permanent Resident Application Fee: CAD 550
Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF): CAD 490

is it as stated above or multiply the number of family?

Thanks for your response

Please my people..... Has anyone ever needed to correct mistakes/error of Marriage Certificate that could have been contradictory to the information given on EE/eAPr i.e Proffession? if yes, how did you go about correcting it... did you need to go back to the issuing registry for correction?

in my case is a mistake on the profession part for my spouse and I

below is an extract from the Marriage Act on correction.

" Any registrar, when authorized by the Principal Registrar, may correct any clerical error in any certificate of marriage filed in his office, upon production to him of the certificate delivered to the parties, and shall authenticate every such correction by his signature and the date of such correction"

Advice from you pro would be appreciated. I have been told that a mere sworn affidavit may not suffice except correction is done by the issuing registry.

Please pros, kindly advice.

[You can use just your salary account and tbills provided the source of tbills can be traced to that same account quote author=Spatz81 post=55852179]Hello Gurus in the house,

I have a salary account in which my major source of income(Salary & Allowances) go into. I also move fund from my salary account into my other accounts. My Salary Account is my POF.

Here is my question, I only intend to get Reference letter and back statement for only my salary account plus my Treasure bills as my POF. is this okay or I must also present letters for my other accounts too?

I was hoping not to complicate issues hence the reason for the intention to presenting my main account. However, I want to do the appropriate thing.

Your candid opinion would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thank a lot... yes the salary Account shows as the source of fund for the Tbills.

Will I need to include further details/evidence to show that I was self employed before marriage?

if you are not claiming points for the experience you had when you were self employed, then you dont need to proof anything, just indicate it in the personal history section... that is it. but if you are claiming points then you would need to proof it.

Not necessary. If you are in Lagos, Walk into Alagbon and you will see multiple persons asking you if you want PCC. Choose any and negotiate for a price not more than 5k. Remember, not more than 5k. Anything higher is cheating.

police officers or touts?

It depends on the officer reviewing your case. It does matter to some.

One Naija applicant didn't get PPR 8 months post AOR, he decided to order his GCMS notes. There, his reviewing officer made a comment that the occupation he chose was different from what was on his marriage certificate. He concluded that his employment information wasn't consistent and couldn't be trusted.

He wrote to them and explained the issue. Last time I checked, he still hasn't gotten his PPR.

My suggestion is that you attach a convincing letter of explanation and all documents to prove your employment, especially salary statement of account.

I understand this sort of mistakes on Marriage Certificates cannot be corrected.... would an affidavit disclaiming it and maybe advice paystub received during the period suffice?

House please, as at 2009 I was self employed when I got married & that's what is stated on my marriage certificate, but from 2011-2015 I was employed & that's the past experience that I got a reference letter to use as part of my documents for this application. Is this okay or a problem?

its is okay as long as the period when you were self employed is indicated in the Personal history section and the dates jives with when you were married. I guess you are in a safe place. IMO

lwkmd! Its the person who filled the form for your marriage certificate. I ensured I filled the notice of marriage form and proof read the Form E during my time. That being said, I don't think any amendments can be made to your marriage certificate though but maybe others with more info could help.

Post ITA- This is a lot of form to fill out.

Family Travel history in the last 10year? I already filled out spouse section with her travel history.

What is this other Family travel history being asked about? Parents and Sibling? I don't have these records.... someone please safe me the mystery by confirming otherwise.

Thanks

Absolutely correct! I don't think you need a LOE for your previous employment since you are not claiming points for them. Just list the ones you aren't claiming points for under your personal history, shikena.

All the best!

....3 years or more of work experience. The "more" will not give you any extra points.

Thanks Ehrnie, so reference letter from my current employment of 4yrs + would suffice while I of course give details of any previous employment in the personal history section (back by LOE of course)?

Hello Gurus,

What is the highest number of years of experience required to max the points for work experience? I asked this question because I intend to provide Reference letter for only my Current place of work which I have been since 2012. This is to avoid the stress of chasing after my previous employer for required reference letter and other documents.

your candid opinion with be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
