saddy101: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10). <<<<== I Believe! Loving heavenly father,You know all his/her worries and fears regarding this interview! You are a most loving heavenly father and You understand his/her innermost feelings!Yes Lord! He/she is so nervous thinking about the outcome of this interview. You know his/her limitations Lord, but Your word says that Your strength is enough in our times of weakness. We admit that we have no wisdom or knowledge of our own. But we have confidence that we can do every thing through Christ who strengthen us. He/she does not know what is in store for him/her but he/she knows that his/her future is in the hands of Lord of Lords, Who has made him/her. So Lord be with him/her and help him/her to find grace in the sight of the eyes of the consular officer. He/she need not be afraid of men because he/she has the Lord Almighty beside him/her. Please go before him/her and let him/her answer the questions boldly and intelligently. Please remove all the unwanted fears and worries and fill him/her with courage. Let him/her never be put to the shame. I thank You Lord for listening to his/her supplications and filling him/her with Your peace. In Jesus' name I pray.Amen. The VISA is yours go for it 6 Likes |

It is also known as the Green Card Lottery. seawell: hope this isn't fraud? We didnt receive emails!!! bobshina:: brightmon: brightmon is very CORRECT When an applicant is selected in the DV lottery, he or she is actually one of about 100,000 selectees who will need to follow additional steps, of which 50,000 will end up being the true ‘winners’. This is because some of the first 50,000 persons who are selected will not qualify for an immigrant visa or will decide not to pursue their cases to visa issuance. Spouses and children accompanying or following to join DV principal applicants are only entitled to derivative diversity visa Applicants registered for the DV-2013 program were selected at random from 7,941,400 qualified entries, statistical breakdown done only 6,218 selectees from NIGERIA were picked only 7% of 50,000 will get visas that isroughly less than 3500 Nigerians auuuuuuch!! In 2009, there were 47,879 green cards issued to diversity visa winners. Of those, 26,243 were principal applicants, 10,157 were spouses of principal applicants, and 11,479 were their children. In 2010, there were 49,763 green cards given to diversity visa winners and their families. Just over half were male. Just under three-quarters (74%) were 21 years of age and older. From which countries do diversity visa recipients come? The national origins of diversity visa recipients show that underrepresented areas of the world receive the largest percentage of the visas: [img][/img] The single largest number of visas went to Ethiopia (3,987 visas), followed by Egypt (3,447), Uzbekistan (3,279), Nigeria (2,937), Bangladesh (2,800), and Kenya (2,279). The countries benefiting from the Diversity visa lottery have changed over the years. From 1997-2002, Albania was the #1 recipient, followed by Nigeria, the Ukraine, and Bulgaria. In 2010, Albania was still a top recipient, receiving 1,638 visas. Hope this will help you enough and thank you |

ferdimako: The required visa fee must be paid for you and your eligible dependents who wish to immigrate with you to America. I really dont see a reason why your wife and children wont accompany you for interview if you intend to immigrate with them. PLease our men dont keep us home to wait for you to come with good news just because you think you are MAN enough and have paid for the VISA and MEDICAL remember at the CO they have copies of DS230 forms and passport photos of each and every member you entered the eDV initially so they will have to verify the real person physically. |

emebeteaderashn:
NO, you can break and come home but this will mean you qualify by physical presence “Physical presence” is the total days you were inside the United States and does not include the time you spend outside the U.S. Each day you spend outside the U.S. takes away from your "physical presence" total. If you are away from the U.S. for long periods of time or if you take many short trips outside the U.S., you may not meet your “physical presence” requirement. To count your “physical presence” time, you should add together all the time you have been in the United States. Then subtract all trips you have taken outside the United States. This includes short trips to Canada and Mexico. For example, if you go to Mexico for a weekend, you must include the trip when counting how many days you spent out of the country. (you must be physically present in the United States for at least 30 months during the last five years) “Continuous residence” is the total time you have resided as a permanent resident in the United States before applying for naturalization. If you spend too much time outside the United States during a single trip, you may break your “continuous residence.” (Most people must be permanent residents in continuous residence for five years) When you BECOME a US Citizen then you can Bring family members to the U.S. Please download the ebook below and read more from it http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/M-618.pdf |

saakeem2003: Hello House, pls can some1 help me about this- in my forms to kcc I specified that me, husband and one child will move and others will join later but in my 2nl, they stated that all must appear 4 interview in jan, though we all have our passport but what about the medicals? is it only those 3 or all the family members and visa fees is it 4 3 or all of us Unless you want them to join you after 5yrs otherwise medical and visa fee has to be done to all family members if they will follow you during the 6 month visa time. BUT if you dont pay visa fee and dont do medicals for them then they will follow you after 5 good years as per my understanding abi http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?319542-DV-lottery-winners-who-are-married-meet-here/page2&highlight=DV+lottery+winners+married+meet He took finger prints of our middle fingers CO: Before I start the interview I want to ask this question, would like to go with the baby or leave her behind? Me: I would like to go with her but I don’t have the fee. So I will go, settle down and come for her. CO: Note that your can only come her after 5 years. Me: Ok CO: Give the baby to your husband He asked my husband to sit |

I am a profession in another field and would feel the urge to assist anyone who has ailment challenges so i see No reason to start exchanging words with an attorney if he feels its safe for one to be discreet in this forum. hituneu: Hello narialanders, congrats to all those who had a successful interview,my prayer for all other waiting either for their 2nd NL or interview, you shall all come back here to share your testimonies of success.it is better you claim it now cos you never can tell, maybe you will be the next to share yours,I just have a question that seems to be disturbing me for some time now,if a couple register for the dv lottery and luckily the husband wins, how will he do it that both of them will travel together, will be wife follow him also to be interviewed?and will the both pay for all other things?pls shed more light on this for me.thanks and God bless. They will all fill in a DS230 forms that is husband, wife and each kid but the one who was the principal applicant (the husband) will fill an extra DSP122 form and sent them to KCC wait for the 2NL Notification Letter from KCC they then book an appointment for the interview at their country's US embassy when they are there they will be required to pay VISA FEE $330 each even their children if they have. ie if its you and you husband plus a child each will pay $330 that is $990. In the forms you sent there is a place where you are asked if you will accompany the principal applicant or follow him later so this will depend on the couple financial status or other things that might make you remain BUT you will have to pay the $330 visa fee even if you intend to remain. i hope i have explained more than you asked. NOTE: That is if he had put you in the eDV entry as his spouse other wise if he didnt you have to start by registering your marriage at your local authorities and do as Remmy488 has said below. Thank you |
