Please I'd like to know if anyone who participated in the engineering design training program has been able to upload their detail on PTDF website. It requires the candidate to register before accessing the portal but i can't find the registration portal. Anyone who can help out should please let me know.

this is really weird. why would a company trying to recruit staff ask the applicant to pay. if there is to be any skills acquisition, it should be on the bill of the company not the employee. the recruitment agents get their own payments from the company so why are they asking money off the applicant? this is really unfair. why are people exploiting the plight of Nigerian graduates this way?

my training was hysys at ph for 2wks. i don't know anyone who was called for the pdms training so i can't help u out there. Aspentech certificates were not given to us immediately but we were informed we'd get notification once it's ready cos it's prepared in canada at the company's base not here in nigeria.
i guess u'd be called back for ur training once they sort themselves out cos ptdf is paying for it and i don't think they'd want to loose that contract cos it's rather huge.

you don't have to possess engineering process skills just the basic computer skills. i knew nothing about process simulation b4 i took the lectures but i came out better than most who knew about it. it's all about learning and learning well.

u don't have to be working to participate. they only asked for that i case u are working.

No questions are asked when u get there.
Just like any other training, the classes are interactive.
if u are asked any questions, it's during the course of the training.
don't pay attention to anyone, noone would send u back after u have been invited except u do not come along with the requirements or u do something stupid like not showing up on that date.

If u were given a manual that is as the one we used during the training, u should be able to learn how to use the software easily cos it's self explanatory.

You don't have to pay, u get paid instead. they just started the 4th batch yesterday and still have quite a number to go. i was a participant of the HYSYS training and it was an experience worth every minute.

Yes, they just concluded the interviews. The strike disrupted the interviews so those that were billed to have theirs during that period had it last week.

Dunlop has completed the interviews last week. if u didn't hear from them, then u weren't shortlisted for it.

don't mind anyone who tells u they are fake cos they've been around for a while now and they do get jobs for people. write the test and really do ur best cos it may seem very simple but those are the kind of tests that people fail the most.

you could try taking courses at Landover aviation. still check on virgin nigeria, u may still get something to apply for depending on what dept u'd like to work.

in case u didn't notice, others who got replies said they were asked to write their career goals. i simply asked that question to find out if they first wrote an ability test b4 they got to the stage of writing career goals.
