Phones / Re: Unable To Do Welcome Back For My Stolen MTN Sim by teejayahmed(m): 2:12pm On Jan 08, 2021
The bigger issue is for people like me who do not have NIN slip. NIMC is on strike, so I cannot register. And MTN will never retrieve your sim without the NIN slip. I am just tired of this country.

The government should allow people to retrieve their line with other government approved ID while NIMC is on strike.
Phones / Re: NIN Issues: I Never Registered For NIN.. How Do I Verify The NIN from *346#? by teejayahmed(m): 6:33pm On Dec 27, 2020
bablon20:

So many Nigerians have NIN and they are unaware. The truth is that everyone that did their BVN when it was introduced in 2014 has NIN automatically assigned to them.
Just dial *346# with the same number you registered for BVN and retrieve your NIN. Don't go to NIMC centres to queue, Covid19 is real.

Please Boss I have an issue. I was robbed last week and my phone along with the sim card I used to register for both National ID and BVN. NB: I registered for national ID but never got the temporal print out.

Now the issue is that FGN have placed a ban on sim card retrieval, so there is no sim card to dial the USSD from to enable me check if I already have NIN to link with the sim.

Please anyone with similar issue or know how on how to go about it should help me. I have been using this particular line since 2010, I don't want to lose it.

The reschedule news was the best thing to happen in this entire recruitment.

The one thing outstanding now is for them to announce the date that the training school will start to allow people that are working sort themselves out.

Many thanks sir. This is very detailed and helpful. Please a quick question. When you say others are told to select state of choice. can they choose Lagos? Cant someone be posted to a branch in Lagos that is not HQ?
OsasAca1:

To the best of my findings and Knowledge and please I stand to be corrected
1. Trainee would be broken into various classes out which the best two in each classes would be given an opportunity to work in the Headquarters at Lagos there while others would have to select the State of there choice
The beauty of the HQ is that you would be given an opportunity to select a department that would suit you except for exceptional cases like the being the Best Graduating would usually get Treasury department or maybe no space..
But for others who would have selected there preferred state, most of them would basically be marketers or maybe larger percentage

2. There are many departments in the Bank but could only get to see all fully operational when you are working at the Hq... For Branch basically Marketers and Operations
Some others include HR, Corporate Communication, Fintech, Strategy, Transition Unit, internal control, Treasury, investment etc

3. Bond Signing, based on the current set, it's before the training School.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Access Bank Calling For Aptitude Test (entry-level) (2014) by teejayahmed(m): 6:30pm On Jul 17, 2018
Please i will appreciate if someone can help clarify the following for me

1. What is the prospect after training school? Is posting to marketing role dependent on your performance? How about posting someone outside Lagos state is it also based on performance? Or based on individual personalities, preferences, or skills?

2. What roles or departments are available in a bank that one can be posted to except marketing? and like above is it dependent on skill or performance?

3. Is bond signing before or after training school?

Thanks for your expected help.

Hello...

Kudos to all our gallant hustlers in the house. Favour will find you all soon.

I am a great lover of teaching, but got another job in another sector that I could not turn down. But I still miss teaching and it hurts me that everything I know might just go to waste.

If I could even find a place to teach for free on weekends, I'd take. Anyways those that are living the dream, keep it up and keep touching lives.

How can people believe their is no spiritual power?

Have seen where people are shot at with a gun nothing happened, cut with a cutlass and the cutlass breaks into halve, swallowed broken pieces of razor blade , among so much others. Occurrence that cannot be scientifically explained.

Hopefully the devil won't push him to try that with the glorious Quran.

Politics / Re: "Yan Shara" Emerges In Kaduna, Terrorizes Residents by teejayahmed(m): 3:47pm On Jun 12, 2016
I feel like crying anytime I see news of how this northerners portray Islam. Its purely due to lack of education. And we are wrong to completely think the way Hausa behaves is how Islam preaches. Hausa's are not even up to 1% of the world Muslim populace. So please don't judge Islam base on their actions.

Islam is totally against violence as evident in the below verse from the glorious Quran :
In the name of Allaah the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful.
1. Say: O you who believe
2. I do not worship that which you worship
3. And neither do you worship that which I worship
4. Nor am I going to worship that which you worship
5. Nor are you going to worship that which I worship
6. YOU SHALL HAVE YOUR RELIGION AND I SHALL HAVE MY RELIGION.
(Qur'an 109 verses 1)

I therefore feel ashamed when people lie that Islam promise reward for violence when the above verse is saying otherwise.

I simply can't understand Nigeria, keeping politicians aside, our proe is with us the citizen. Rubish mindset and lazy people.

I can't imagine what our point of insulting buhari is. Would we av prefer if Goodluck had won the election instead? Do u think Jonathan would have probe his own regime?

The reality of the matter is (If u like close ur eyes and block ur ears), PMB is better than GEJ. The only problem with Buhari is that he underestimated the situation the country was in and made promises that he felt was realistic with our revenue. But the reason why he is not meeting the target are:
1. Massive fall in oil price
2. Massive loot by the outgoing government (imagine the sums involved in the arm deal and deziani).

We keep saying he should forget the past reign and face the challenges (can't imagine Nigerians would say this despite how we cried for fight against corruption in the past). Now we are saying they should ignore corruption and move on.

Let say its true that we should ignore and not waste tears on spilled milk. What do u expect him to do? We are operating a mono economy and solely depends on fuel. There are pressing problems that he must attend to despite the dead low revenue (110 dollars to 40dollars).

Even in your own life. If ur salary reduce from 100k to 40k, do u think your girlfriend will benefit as she does in the past? Will your girlfriend tell u to stop complaining about your salary and start giving her money as u do in the past? Even when the fuel was selling well, what did the past government do about it? Buhari is bearing the burnt of past governments corruption.

Please as a sane human being. please stop acting like all you all are dumb. Even if we conduct another election right now between GEJ and PMB, u think PMB will lose?

PMB is not perfect, he promised the stuff Nigeria's past government have made impossible. For that he is wrong. But with the present situation, he is doing the best possible. Support your nation and be patriotic.

The watsapp idea z nice, but too early. Let gather momentum first

Kaduna: Base on little research is considered to be d best among d north. High standard of education, low cost of living, industrialized, stable power in most part, good roads and water, mixed ethnicity and religion especially in d southern Part. The downside I think is lack of payment by the state and occasional tribal and religious protest in some part. Its rare and avoidable. Feel free to add more!

Sports / An Out-of-position Arsenal XI by teejayahmed(m): 1:41pm On Jan 19, 2016
Seeing Steven Caulker sent on up front again for Liverpool got me thinking about footballers playing out of position. I’m sure we all love it when a keeper comes up for a corner at the end of a game. Or when an outfield player has to go in goal. So anyway – I wondered – what’s the worst team you can come up with, just by playing players out of position. You have to take your team’s first XI and then place them in positions they are very poorly suited to. Sort of like reverse Football Manager. Here’s my effort with Arsenal. (Alright I cheated a bit and dropped Ramsey because he’d probably be good everywhere). GK: Santi Cazorla. Phenomenal close control and a glorious ability to dribble out of tight spaces – all things you don’t need in a goalkeeper. Also five foot five. In fairness, being two-footed would be useful (why can’t all keepers kick well off both feet under pressure?) RB: Olivier Giroud. Desperately slow and one- footed…he’d get turned inside out by most wingers and probably most full-backs in the Premier League. At least would give this side some height in defence though. CB: Alexis Sanchez. He’d probably be pretty good anywhere – but his habit of dummying/stepping one way and then turning another is exactly what you don’t want your centre-back doing. Putting him in a position where he can’t joyfully run with the ball and take on defenders would be like showing your labrador videos of other dogs being taken for walks. CB: Mesut Ozil. God I love him, but he would struggle. He’s not lazy – but he really doesn’t enjoy challenging for headers. He would apply virtually no pressure to a centre forward receiving the ball with his back to goal. The thought of him marking Benteke/Lukaku/Costa makes me shudder. LB: Hector Bellerin. He’d actually probably be fine here. But I just had a space left over and couldn’t work out where to put him… DM: Theo Walcott. The defensive instincts of a drunk toddler who spotted his favourite toy in the distance. Being a DM is about being in the right place originally – not the trademark Theo guilty sprint back into position. Weak in the challenge, and for an Arsenal player often has a pretty bad first touch. The turnovers he would generate in the middle of the park would kill the team. CM: Petr Cech. As a goalkeeper he’s used to being able to see everything in front of him – but central midfield is probably the tightest area of the pitch with players potentially tackling you from all directions. Big guy though. Could be that leader in the middle of the park everyone goes on about. Playmaker: Monreal. I really like Nacho – he’s a solid defender who reads the game well. He’s (rightly) pretty unambitious in his passing however – and I think would really blunt our attack a lot in this position. Loves making an overlapping run, but you sort of sense he’s often hoping teammates don’t pass it to him. FW: Per Mertesacker. I can’t even imagine what he would do playing out wide. Possibly he’d become a sort of dead end for counter-attacks – calmly passing the ball back the way it came. Worse still – he could become our Fellaini. FW: Laurent Koscielny. Would probably do a job here and I had to slot him in somewhere, but a lot of his strengths (stepping up and intercepting, ability to time a tackle) would be largely wasted. CF: Coquelin. Never scored for Arsenal. He’s only scored twice in his career in 142 appearances. Wenger playing him at centre-forward for a game would be the ultimate trolling of football punditry…a two-fingered salute to both those who say Arsenal need another striker and those who say Arsenal need more defensive cover in midfield. Can you do better/worse?
Romance / Online Problems In A Relationship by teejayahmed(m): 10:36am On Dec 14, 2015
Relationships is not just a bed of roses as we all know. But some of these problems are exacerbated with some online tools especially mobile phones and social networks. Most of these problems based on my experience are more common in distant relationships but can also be experienced even when u staying in d same environment. The points listed below are my own experience, feel free to add yours.

1. Excessive Phone calls
This is common with care starved girls and jealous type of girls( Dont mind how biased I was there). There are always calling and talking to you on phone wanting to know ur every move, ur activities and who u talk to. For God sake relationship is not EFCC vs Dasuki ,give him breathing space. The ones that annoys me most is ur girl will call u briefly begging u call her back for something. As a caring guy u rush to get card only for u to call and ask what it is?. The reply is "I just wanted to hear from u" after u guys av spoke so many times already that day. Atimes she will call and after greetings nothing more to say and she will ask u silly question like why are u keeping quiet. Other times if u think and bring up one discussion line, she will say that d discussion is lame that u should change topic as if u are TV stations.

2. Complain about ur chat or dp
I especially hate this type of girls. Dia are online 24hrs and always chatting with you. when u online and not typing to them Dia immediately call and complain that who are u chatting with that u not talking to them. And if u type dem hi Dia are never creative to start any discussion and would be waiting for u to start one which Dia would still say its lame at most times. This type are the first to complain about ur dp if its not about dem asking u change ur dp with immediate effect.

3. Exhausted words leads to more sex
Due to exhausting all your discussions online after u guys meet dia will be virtually nothing left to talk about. And prolonged silence will lead to thought of sex creeping to ur head all the time.

4. It increases ur odds of frequent misunderstanding
Before you know u start getting tired of this type of relationship if not well treated. Symptoms becomes frequent rate of misunderstanding because too much talk a times make u say things you not supposed to say. This lead to my final point

5. It can lead to sex chat and masturbation
Do to the difficulty in thinking out d best discussion land to take can push u to become too sexual. D easiest thing to discuss for a very long time is sex. U will find urself discussing about ur past sex experience together or how u plan to carry it out next time. leading to asking what the other person is wearing, taking nude pix and sharing and at last might start touching yourself.

Online activities is crucial to a relationship if properly managed. pls feel free to criticize and contribute ur own experience
