Education / Re: 52 Federal Varsities May Collapse Over Hike In Electricity Tariff, VCs Tell FG by Teenaira: 2:49pm On Jul 06 |
adenigga: Why is it so difficult for these institutions to start building solar farms with say 50% of their monthly allocation. Any institution can use this method to become self sufficient in providing it's energy need within a short period of time. I don't know why our universities that are supposed to be research centres always crying like babies for money when in actual fact they are sitting on real money. 3 Likes |

SmartPolician: Peter Obi can be anything but not eloquent. I know he reels out fake statistics and raises fake hopes without showing how the imaginary miracles will come to pass but being eloquent is way farther than that. We don't really need a soothsayer to tell who is eloquent. 3 Likes 1 Share |

High court has said before that Wike team are still house of assembly members. So Wike has given Fubara a bad knockout. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Nigerians Bought ₦16 Trillion Fuel, Generators In 2023 – FG by Teenaira: 8:20am On Jul 03 |
helinues: Why do Nigerians usually look for who to blame. Atiku is no longer in charge of power. We are bleeding as a country spending unnecessary money on generator and generator maintenance. In Lagos for instance, everybody generates his or her own power. This is pure wastage of resources. However, that is the best people can do for now to help themselves. The other cheap alternative is solar but the installation cost is huge. Why can't government assist individuals may be by way of loans to accelerate installation of solar power. Government can equally subsidies solar power component cost. This will be a win win situation that will reduce the waste in the power sector. Besides, the consumer will enjoy the power they are paying for. Also, we will be speared of the noise and hydrocarbon pollution. Who ever have the government ears should let them know the easy solution to power supply in Nigeria is to go solar. God has given us good sunlight. Let us use it. I use solar in my house but my neighbour using generator will not allow me to enjoy it fully duty to generator noise at night. Na wa o. 5 Likes |

Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: FG Pushes ₦62,000 Pay Despite Labour’s Opposition by Teenaira: 7:40am On Jun 17 |
Kuginzi: Nigeria's problem is not minimum wage. Government must make it possible for people to go back to the farms. We are a disgrace to humanity for not being able to feed ourselves. A lot of Nigerians are ready to go back to the farm. Government must stop bokoham, banditory, kidnapping, yahoo yahoo, money laundering, illegal mining, excessive government spending and all other ills going on in the country. Infact, government should reduce salaries and make efforts to make Naira stronger. 2 Likes |

Arostar2023: So, it is right and proper for Nigerians to donate all their foreign exchange earnings to UK of all places. Can't we just think outside the box ? UK has cashed out big time on Nigeria in the last few years on this education tourism and they are not in anyway ready to bear any responsibility. That is the true position. 5 Likes |
