tolatolaeva: Just do a change of date, you may have to pay a fee for the change and fare difference. Wakanow never forgives the change fee & fare difference. There was a point that I lost the orginal ticket for my son because the price to change a date with the airline was higher than the price of another ticket with one other airline. It is best to buy directly from the airline, it makes changes and refund easier, if you must buy from Wakanow and other online booking agent, you need to be sure of your travel plans so you don't have to incur additional charges. 1 Like |

BrosMayowa: Congratulations! Are you 1st timer? Is urgent travel need a requirement? Just wanted to know if paying for super priority will be seen as a red flag to a trip that is not urgent. |

Kiki25: Kiki25: Piggyvest operates as a MFB in Nigeria. The statement should be acceptable to UKVI. Just be sure that Piggyvest will confirm your statement when requested by UKVI. |

Kelyzo1: Kelyzo1: 1. Yes, you mom needs to upload her statement as well. If she's retired, the level of activity on the account will show such. If she gets allowances from your dad, you and your siblings it will show. Just explain her situation on the application. 2. The company name has to be active on CAC. If not, it is a risk factor. If self employed, he may have to pay himself salary for a period of time prior to applying. Strong tie to Nigeria will help this application. A thriving self employed business, landed properties, children and grand children to look after are strong ties. 2 Likes |

Oggg: Except for those going to US that are required to test on the day of travel, anyone else should take the test the day before travelling to avoid issues of changes in policy. It has affect me, learnt the hard way. |

cutebear: 7-8 days is okay but 2 weeks is ideal. Sometimes, ECO will say that you're blowing x amount of money in 1 week. While there is nothing wrong with 1 week or even less, the ideal in my opinion is 2 weeks but it depends on individual situation. |

Cycloe: Your sister needs to show strong tie to Nigeria. Having landed property is one of it. Showing family ties, like having children is school will help. She should get evidences that her kids are schooling here in Nigeria. She needs to provide evidence of her relationship with the sponsor. If the sponsor is a sibling, birth certificates of her and her siblings will help. If a spouse, marriage certificate, children birth certificate and joint ownership of property will help. She must provide her bank statement in addition to that of her sponsor. In short, she must convince ECO that she will return to Nigeria. When and where did she submit the application? 1 Like |

Omishor2020: Be sure that your email was correctly captured on the application, did you receive a mail from UKVI? If not, you might have mistakenly entered incorrect email. You could print out a screen shot of the appointment and that should suffice. |

Jayeolaifeoluwa: Abuja takes 1 week and costs about 25k if your if your bio was done in Lagos. Lagos takes 2 weeks or slightly more but it costs 4k or so if your bio was done in Lagos. Went with Abuja to save the headache of having to wait for an extra week or more. The choice is yours. |

RuggedArab: Yes but you will have to pay about 24k, 14k for the package to & fro, then 7k or so to the VFS Abuja if you did your bio-metric elsewhere. Learnt Abuja is faster, you get your passport within a week. I submitted passport on Monday, I should have it back by the end of the day today. You will pay only 4k however if you submit your passport to Lagos, assuming your bio-metric was done in Lagos. |

RuggedArab: I'm sorry about your refusal. The red flag, i believe, is that you didn't include your bank statement. You should have included your bank statement. Not including it sends a signal that you're relying solely on your brother. Please re-apply and include your statement. The letter you suggested is also okay. |

@All, Now that Canada has banned us due to the latest variant, Omicron, what happens to visa processing? Hope it will not affect those that have submitted passports for visa? Can one travel to a green country for 2 weeks then proceed to Canada? I'm puzzled. 1 Like |
