^^^ When it came to the crunch,I bottled it,although with my feminine charm on the offensive,i could have stood a chance cos he was single, but i guess i was only in it for the thrill of the chase.

Thanks for the complement though.

Platinumnk
Babe,i am toomuch, too much for him to handle,he he he, but why the interest though, cos though i'm over him and have set sight on someone else, seeing another girl show interest in him might just make my competitive streak surface and make me want to see if i can join the race too.
Afterall all is fair in love and war.

And no I am not looking for made men on NL like some threads have suggested, I just like the way you flow and your rapport with your customers. Maybe I should just take your contact number off one of your threads, sure that would be quicker and save me the public humiliation of you turning me down openly on NL, as some people have done to their admirers on this forum.

Hey just saw your pix in your profile, you don't look half-bad too, hope you are a bit tall though cool

Nigerians and their one-track mind never ceases to amaze me undecided People handle grief differently FFS, some try to flee, some confront it head-on, whilst some try to bury their heads in the sand, so what gives undecided Bunch of ignoramuses angry angry angry

And to the so-called health worker who claims 90% of patients are usually too numb to react for the first 4 weeks, WHAT ABOUT THE REMAINING 10%

And it is possible nowadays to get same day result and this is usually offered to health workers who have accidently come in contact with the blood of an infected person or a spouse/partner of an affected person, though they have to carry out repeat tests up to nine months to get the all-clear.

Aaliyah -  How could the one I gave my heart to

How could the one I gave my heart to, break my heart so bad?
How could the one who made me happy, make me feel so sad?
Wont somebody tell me so I can understand?
If you love me, how could you hurt me like that?
How could the one I gave my world to, throw my world away?
How could the one that said I love you, say the things you said?
How could the one I was so true to, just tell me lies?
How could the one I gave my heart to, break this heart of mine?
Tell me,

sammyzacks:

contract annd covenant refer to the same thing.
in both cases as along as the terms are not broken, marriage is valid.
if you want you marriage to work, see it as a choice. A choice to love someone for who they are, so that even when the vows are broken you will still choose to stay with your partner. if you decide to truely love then nothing can come against your marriage.

Your write-up really makes a lot of sense though. All I can say is "God give me strength to be able to endure"

We cant know your guy better than you. Its up to you both to show that you are committed to a long term serious relationship. Left to me i dont understand why men allow their women to worry about issues like this, you shldnt give her any doubt as to your intentions but oh well.

Talk to him . . . after reading this thread he will probably put two and two together and then come to give you a good tongue lashing. grin

When women talk, men tune off and moan that women nag too much, and as for him seeing this thread, i doubt he even knows that a romance section exists on Nairaland, but then again, you could never know, I don't know why life has to be this complicated and full of men with dishonest intentions undecided Not all men though, all the good ones are taken smiley

Have you both met face to face? If you have then i dont think you shld be that worried.

Bottomline is NL cannot help you, you're best served asking him how serious he is about an exclusive relationship that shld lead to marriage. Talking about it is one thing, actiing it out is another.

We have met once, but i guess i can't stop worrying because I am a female.

I have asked him countless number of times, but he keeps telling me what i want to hear, which is that he is not seeing anyone else. Whilst i believe this to be true that he is not seeing anyone in Ngeria, how can i be so sure that he doesn't have someone in Germany, US or Canada who's hands he has promised in marriage too.

How does one know these things? And it doesn't help as well to have doubting friends too.
