Politics / Re: Our Election Should Be Captioned "INEC And Police Decide" - Bwala by tosino3: 3:06am On Mar 20, 2023
Nigeria is still in labour to deliver election results. So far what we have are "announcements" not election results.

Soon and very soon, we are going to receive our good news. 👍🏾

Politics / Re: Nigerian Governorship Elections 2023 (Live Updates And Monitoring) by tosino3: 9:30am On Mar 18, 2023
I'm already tired. My polling center is too populated and last time we queued almost the whole day and night - queue to check name, queue to accredit, queue again before calling numbers to vote. Even some ballot papers finished. I hope we won't suffer so much again.
Meanwhile some other polling units are small, simple vote and count and go.

Let us start voting it's almost 9:30. Meanwhile it's threatening to rain again.

Music/Radio / Help Me Find This Song by tosino3: 4:04pm On Dec 27, 2021
The songs I need help finding:

- "Jah, oh Jah, lead me on, you are the one for me, and I am the one for you." Reggae from Nigeria NTA around 1990 in the era of Orits Wiliki and co. I don't know for sure who sang this.
- "Fine girls, them are too dangerous, fear them all" ... same era. Nice music video with a pool I think. Possibly the singer is Mustapha Amego aka Funky Mallam.
- "Jigida" ... mid to late 1980s NTA song by Uche Ibeto. The song is online but not the dynamic music video.
- "Baba mi o, iya mi o, egbon mi o, aburo mi, omo dudu lo wu mi o, o ti n sufe pe mi n'ita" ... melodious one, female singer, from the radio in the early/mid 80s.
- You Do "...when you do what you do for me" ... like a rare early song by a female singer, in either SA or one of those countries near it. The song is part English with some added vocals in some African language.

Thank you so much

If Yar'adua was alive, he would have made a serious attempt at dialogue.
In fact, is it a matter of dialogue?
I have seen the positive and peaceful side of Islam, but now that people are killing in the name of Islam, shouldn't the Sultan and even leading Moslem scholars from Al-Azhar and other centers issue statements to condemn their acts and also explain that the Quran didn't send them? Or did the Quran actually send them?
Is Boko really Haram? Is Boko Halal?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Any Hope 4 3rd Classers by tosino3: 2:15pm On Nov 24, 2009
Please keep going even if you're 3rd class or any class.
Most people fail sometimes, but please when you fall down, start thinking about getting up again.
In Nigeria, I have heard both points of view: that it is all about the certificate, and that it is all about what you can do. Most employers believe in certificate, so be realistic and don't bother yourself with them. Instead, find the employers that are looking for other things: charm, hardwork, ability to make money, creativity, connections, or what what. Either that or believe in yourself and start doing your own thing. Or find a place where there are so many jobs that even you will get a chance. Nigeria is not that place. Many people, few jobs.

Love how these people are really putting out quality, putting their hearts into their work as musicians and entertainers. It makes me proud to be from the same country, you know?
Have you listened to the whole Bigiano album? Love it. I am a fan forever now.
