I'm so not doing this anymore. I can't deal mhen! I died a thousand and one times. Dear af, why did you treat me like this?
I bursted into tears when I still woke up dry today. Hubs was disgusted and left for work while I was still crying. I couldn't even say why.

I called a pharmacist friend to tell me my options. No, I just told him to tell me the name of the drug I should buy and use. That one was just preaching. I wasn't even listening. He then told me that I wanted to do something stupid, what if I died and left my child motherless? Do I want another woman to maltreat my baby? Fresh bouts of tears. Sobs, no wails. All the while, I had not yet tested o I was too scared.

Gradually I mustered courage to do the home test with salt. I had to rewatch the video on YouTube to compare results. Hope started coming smoh smoh when my result looked like their negative result. I gathered courage to go buy test strip.

I didn't even have to use it. The ugly witch, sorry, no, pretty princess made her grand entrance without any apologies

I've cried my eyes out to last me a lifetime. My head aches so bad. I saw my plans to try vbac go up in flames. My career pursuit nko? I saw my life practically come to a halt. I personally think I was pregnant but God just pitied me and let it flow out

Ah, my village people came really loaded this time, but God still pass them.

Kikiki. I use nothing ooo but u will give it time,eat balanced meal,breastfeed ur baby well and try to stay away from junks and sugary drinks. ur tummy will go down gradually and u can use exercise to firm it up

My 6 weeks old has had ela for about 3 weeks now. We've been applying one cream given to us at the hospital as they said mycoten was strong for new born. Mil decided we get the red flower to bath him to clear it out cos his hair is now going backwards, I didn't complain cos I've seen mamas make ref to it here.

Now my issue is, what was brought were herbs and not one flower. I didn't grow up taking herbs so not used to even seeing them. Pls i need the help of the mamas that know about herbs here to confirm that these are fine, else I pack it one corner. Someone picked it from the woman so I don't even have a means to contact the herb woman.pls is anyone familiar with them. The pictures are not loading but there are 4items; two sets of folded leaves(said one is the dried red flower), roots or stems or bark (the popular thing I see in agbo) and something else (attached).
Pls mamas comment on this and what other options do I have?

I've seen dis stuff before. Someone brought it for me( out of her goodheart) wen I gave birth to my 1st child. They said it prevents Oka and u put it inside oil to infuse before u start using d oil for d baby.I never used it tho,threw it away d next day. Try and look for d red flower urself,the fresh one is always very effective. Just boil it inside water and use d water to BATHE your baby,not to drink ooo. D flower is very common. Usually planted to decorate d house. D leaves are usually reddish wine in colour. Kisses to ur LO.

Very true. We back babies from day one sef. I always back my babies from 3weeks. Mumsy says it's d best warmth u can give a baby. Since she's from South West,I'm sure she knows she's not to spread d legs and baby's head should be supported with a flannel till wen she has full neck control. Kisses to our Yoruba Princess.

please all Sabi mamas.. I need review on depo provera I.e the 3 months injectable mode of birth control..I don't want story that touches again.I have 19months old boy as well as a 1 month old boy. Welcome ma'am. AMEN to your prayers!! I think you are okay. Contrary to what we are usually told that you forget all the experiences you had prior delivery once the baby comes. Truth is, the memories really don't leave us. The love for our children makes those feelings worth it.....i think you should try and get enough rest,but if you still don't feel better,please see your doctor. it is well with you.

Officially landed on dis thread. Had to run out of pregnancy thread cos it's like dey are sharing preggy now dere . Booth hanged,no story again.God pls grant all ttc mothers dere heart desires of twins and triplets . Three wonderful and awesome angels is just perfect for me. I cried yesterday mamas. I took my son for circumcision and I didnt know wen I started shedding years,I was just remembering d pregnancy and d traumatic experience I had during delivery. I started crying and shivering seriously,mamas pls,am I okay. Husby thinks I need to see a Specialist,I think am loosing it.

Alhamdulillah I welcomed my Prince at 38wks 3days on Wednesday at about 1a.m via c-section after a non progressing labour past 5cm. I started having labour pains at about 3am Monday night and though it wasn't severe I kept going about my chores..packing up the rest of my things..left for the hospital and got there at about 3pm..was checked and was told 2cm..I went round exercising to speed up labour..at 6pm I was 4cm..my water was broken..all the while the contractions were strong and i felt the urge to poo but the cervix was still not soft..I was weak but kept moving around till 11pm..was checked I was just 5cm..at that point I knew I won't be able to go on with vaginal delivery..the contractions were just continuous and very strong and the doctors were worried that if I eventually become fully dilated I won't be able to push.. my temperature began to rise seriously..baby's heartbeat was fine all through but to check it was work because I was contracting endlessly..at 12a.m the doc asked if I would like to consider c.s because I was shivering and running temp..told him yes..got to the theatre immediately and at about 1a.m my baby was brought forth.. I thank God for everything.. no 2 pregnancies are ever the same..I went through a lot in this pregnancy as such to even take chances wasn't an option for me..I'm recuperating well..Will be discharged tomorrow hopefully..then I can have time to deal with those asking me why I had a c.section since I had my first normally

I bless God for this journey so far.
I am still in awe of the miracle that happened in me. Thank you Jehovah! Indeed you are still in the business of creation.

I TTC for 20months,
Failed ivf, a mìscarriage, plenty faiped procedures, yet I kept trusting and pushing.

I conceive in July 2017,
it was a stress free journey for me. I had severe preE with my first son, which ended in emergency c-section. With this pregnancy the Doctors were not taking chances, was on Aspirin 75mg for preventing PreE, and on progesterone for preventing Miscarriage.

Registered for ANC in my 10th week.
With my history on the table, birth plan was put in place, which was elective c-section.

As I hit 37 weeks, a date was fixed for delivery.
Went on Admission on 2nd, 3rd April, I was delivered of my pretty Princess. My joy knew no bounds...
Same joy was cut short when Baby was not shown to me, kept asking why was she not crying? They kept assuring me she is fine.
Hmmm... in 5min heard the most beautiful cry and I relaxed. She was shown to me!!! Yea....
 I later got to know that babies are not cleaned in the same room but in another(bad practice). Took like for ever!!!

As I was been stitched up, a Doctor inserted something in my anus. Cleaned up, wheeled to my room, I was feeling ecstatic!!! Looking forward to meeting my Princess by my Bedside. Lo and behold Baby was not in the room, hubby was absent!

Mum kept assuring me she is fine.
Where is she? Before I start to cry... one heavy shivering fall on me.... I was shaking vigorously, mum was going to off the a.c., told her to increase it... it wasn't freeze shivers, but a reaction to one of the meds from surgery... my Brain was shaking... I just made up my mind not to die, but be alive to nurse my Daughter, I suddenly got positive that she is truly fine... my son came into the room, my strength and zeal to be alive doubled. 3 hours of vigorous shiver tamed down, slept off. I came around still asking about my daughter, with fear .

24hours later I was still asking about my daughter, I decided to belief them that she was in Neonatal for observation.
Immrdiately the catheter was removed, energy from no where came on me, I walked straight to the neonatal, about to pull the place down if I don't see my Baby ...
I was at the door, my Baby was lifted from her bed, with gadgets on her ... my heart Broke... went back to my room and cried .
By evening I went back begging to touch her... I was obliged... yea... hallelujah.
I will save you the details, am super glad about my choice of hospital! It would have been worst.
Like play... I was discharged on the 3rd day after delivery without my Princess. She stayed back for 3 more days.... I got to cuddle and nurse my Princess on the 5th day, was discharged on the 6th day... hallelujah.

Went for her follow-up yesterday, she is doing super great!!!
All thanks to God almighty who battled through all with my Princess while giving me rest all round about, indeed He had brought me this far, why doubt Him?

Wow!dis God is just too great. We have really enjoyed His favour,grace and mercy,April mamas. Other mamas yet to birth their little ones,Heavens will open on ur behalf and grant unto you favour in d delivery room.
