Fashion / Re: Fashion Face Off: Beyonce Vs Rihanna. by Tweek: 5:51pm On Jun 27, 2009
Were I to choose I'd definitely go Rihanna. She oozes sophistication, isn't afraid to experiment. Rock appeals to her and being girly doesn't. Where Beyonce couldn't pull off the Blazer outfit Rihanna did because it had Rock all over wheresp53

Hey ladies, pls help me out, right now am using dreamer by versace n i wanna change ma perfume.

am stuck between kenneth cole's reaction and cool water.also tinkin of kenneth cole's black!!!which 1 do i chose.comments are highly welcome
I love Ralph Lauren's Romance. It's refreshingly masculine with a hint of a feminine note. Women love a man with a subtle feminine quality because it gives them that I-can-relate-with-him feeling. I once perceived this on a man and I quietly followed him everywhere until he gave me a suspicious look I walked away because he was married otherwise, but there's another fragrance that made me go wet instantly, I don't know what fragrance that was but it had a cigar note. I don't know if it was the perfume, the man or a mixture of both, but there was something unmistakably, sexily masculine about it. It oozes a man in authority and it just made me think of the bedroom.
Family / Re: What Should A Good Wife Do With Her Earnings? by Tweek: 4:56pm On Jun 27, 2009
Chykeo, Italy. You dey craze! A woman I know practiced that stupidity and she bore the brunt of it. Hubby chased girls, squandered on himself and family and forgot about her he even began to talk about quitting his job, that was when her eyes popped open. A woman earning higher than a man affects a man psychologically. My opinion is that they should discuss the expenses in the house, let the woman bring out the money for it. The man should spend his earnings on himself and parents. The woman has parents too. Do you expect that she consults the man everytime she has to take her mom to the hospital? These are expenses a husband would remain grateful his wife handles herself from her pay. What I think is that men shouldn't go for women who earn higher than them because though they say they can handle it only a handful really can. A man is suppose to be a provider that is why women need men in the first place otherwise I really don't know what men are needed for. They are the source of almost all mishaps in the society--marriage included. I am sure Chykeo is urhobo cos that is Urhobo mentality speaking. Jeez!!!
Music/Radio / Re: Your Favourite Michael Jackson's Song by Tweek: 4:28pm On Jun 27, 2009
I especially love the remix of 'Wanna be starting something' M.J did with Akon. But 'Speechless' does it for me. I think death came in his favour, he was suffering. May he find rest. My dad loved his 'electric' moves.

Tweek the only mistake i can say you made was to go and get the rest of your stuff from lagos. lol

I guess so. I really liked her. Women have got issues I know, but she was nice before the whole brouhaha. Well, it's beneath me to act certain ways. This semester I'm moving my things out and finding my self a room all to me.
TV/Movies / Re: Which Movie Character Would You Play? by Tweek: 6:32pm On Sep 11, 2008
@drwhopl

You know I got wet watching Vin Diesel in Pitch Black and kissed the tv several times watching him in Bleep. I don't think you'd fit in the picture. And about being a jumper I'll lasso you out of the bank, if I don't succeed I track you down so we can share your loot 60 to me 40 to you. ;-)
TV/Movies / Re: Which Movie Character Would You Play? by Tweek: 6:25pm On Sep 11, 2008
I'd be Sharon Stone. I love her sensuality, her poise, her carriage and her command of men, besides she's doing the things that I'd love very much to do which is fxxk Micheal Douglas. Eva longoria when I'm looking for style and self-love. Bree, of desperate housewives when I'm looking to put an in-law in her place. God I'd be Sharon Stone any day. Can some one give me Calvin Cummings number, you know him? The black guy the redhead f'd in sex and the city. The guy who featured in Joe's 'If I was your man' If I can't be Sharon I'll be Samantha Jones of sex and the city, that woman has got a voice and drawl that I'd kill for. I love her what-the-heck attitude.
Romance / Re: Why Do Girls Beef? by Tweek: 5:35pm On Sep 11, 2008
I have always wondered the same thing. When I moved into my room. I was too lazy to bring in all my stuff. So, when my room mate saw me and my little belonging she was nice to me, we became good friends and she'd tell me stories of her sisters in UK. I smiled and listened, joked even (I have never been the jealous kind). After the first semester, I went to Lagos got my things so that I could really settle down, and that was when my trouble began. When she saw I had more 'foreign' stuff than her, she was a bit pissed, then she got pretty annoyed to learn that my mom had her university education in the university of arkansas, usa. And that I had aunties and uncles outside the country, even my grandmom was there. Our friendship finally wore off when a friend of ours asked me and i accepted. All these came gradually. It was like I had it all, beauty, intelligence, the perfect shape, good clothes-- almost everything she wanted and then a caring guy. Initially she wouldn't let me touch her stuff, I wasn't bothered cos I wasn't one for sharing anyway, then I brought my stuff and she wanted in on all my things, naturally I refused. When I started dating my guy she practically stopped talking to me. I asked her on two occassions what I had done wrong and she said 'nothing'. I am telling you that she was so pissed that even when she landed herself a white guy she gave me a wrong date to her wedding. A wedding I told her that if it warranted my taking a flight to get there I would do it. I was so excited for her, look, anyone can call it beef but jealousy isn't healthy
Romance / Re: Influenced By My Friends And Now I'm Just Like Them :( by Tweek: 6:19pm On Aug 08, 2008

Honestly, I believe the reason why guys seem to'get over it' so quickly and silently is because they never speak about it or dote on it, now this doesn't mean that they have truly gotten over it. My ex talked about the girl who hurt him, and the expression of pain on his face was still written, whilst I laugh when I realise my past relationship with a guy who left me for another woman, because I truly went through the pain, talked it out and though longer, I actually got over it. Men keep all their pain and hurt inside because it's even worse for your friends to see, you, a man, tear up or show that you have let a female get to you and make you vulnerable, that's the worst for a guy. Whilst a girl is more likely to be open and admit to all her friends, how much her ex hurt her and they comfort her, a guy will not do that, he would be too afraid to lost respect from his friends. I think girls get over it and guys tend to forget. Who knows, both techniques work, I guess smiley

Guess we're lucky. smiley

Yes give examples please,

Do you mean on the issue of a sexual relationship, being used for sex is perceived to hurt a female more than a male?

Men get emotionally hurt when they percieve that they've been used. First, they see it as a bruise to their ego. Secondly, if they liked the woman involved they experience a deep disappointment. But, unlike women they get over it fast and silently so u never know.
Romance / Re: Influenced By My Friends And Now I'm Just Like Them :( by Tweek: 5:39pm On Aug 08, 2008
one thing I know is that a guy who has to follow what his friends do is not a mature man yet. second thing is that birds of the same feathers flock together. if u meet a bunch of people whose character counters yours strongly u'd be repelled. even if u force your self to stay with them u wouldn't find their company relaxing in the end u'd still move away. A friend once advised me thus: "if u want to know him better, go hang out with his friends and he" His friends are the mirrors that show his image. They don't care about u so they'd be themselves.
Fashion / Re: Stretch Marks - Any Cure Yet? by Tweek: 6:48pm On Aug 07, 2008
for the male folk especially, stretch marks comes with puberty just as boobs, hips and behinds. some girls are just unlucky to have them. It doesn't signify that a girl will get fat in the future. Stretch marks could also come with extreme, uncontrolled, or excessive weight gain or with pregnancy. How do you account for guys who have stretch marks on their arms, buttocks and thighs? Have they ever gotten pregnant? Pls don't think fat some are very lanky. I don't know any cure. Just love your body the way it is. There's a saying i love 'If you have a problem, change it.If you can't change it, stop complaining.'

Hello, Sonye, haven't u heard? There are three things never to tease a guy about: his hair, his cojones, and his money (even it is talking about that pint-sized box he calls a TV) Sorry, gal.

Oh my. . .
You guys are freaking ridiculous.
So because someone is a housegirl/belongs to the lower class of the society, she is supposed to represent her class when going out? If he/she has nice clothes, what is wrong with he/she wearing that to the mall? Afterall, shoprite isnt the only hypermarket located in that mallthere are other social centers there as well.
You people are attempting to feel high and mighty by saying one person is acting like "they belong"? Purlease!!!

I usually wear flip flops or doll shoes because of all the stairs they have there and also maybe because thats really what most of my clothes and shoes are like (casual) but if someone can walk the whole mall in heels, whats your freaking problem?

No problem at all. Low class, Upper class. Whoever wants to give a hoot does who doesn't doesn't. I don't give a hoot so long as I am happy doing what I do. Some times i feel like dressing up and going out, sometimes i don't feel like dressing up so i just go out looking grumpy. If someone where to meet me dressed up and says 'She's trying to belong' i'd think that person has a problem with his/her sense of security. Maybe, I am intimidating to him/her. He has no money or she doesn't meet up. I don't blame me for that, should I?

folahann:

The case is the same in Accra here, the case is even worse because the mall is very big, big enough to accommodate all idiots and animals. Don't really know much about Shoprite in Lagos.

The Accra mall hosts Shoprite, Game, Mr. Price, Frankies fast food, Ecobank, stanbic bank,UBA bank, MTN branch office, Pizza Inn, Rhapsody's, Chinese Restaurants, Audi Motors, Say Cheers,Woodin, Nike Store, Puma store, Top shoes,Tradition, about 20 different fast food restaurants and many more mini-shops and still has a lot of unoccupied rooms.

I think girls go there to just attract guys/men(mumu) who have come to shop and have a nice time in order to . . .you know
There enough room for you to sit, chat and chill with complete strangers
Mind you! some guys also go there for same reason,so it's not only the Girls

I don't  think i agree with you calling the guys 'mumu'. i think it's a case of 'give me what i want and i'll give you what you want' Every girl who comes to display her curves and availablity comes with the knowledge that there's a guy who understands her need or rather want. The guy who'd be tagged 'mumu' is the one who gives without getting. the world is a simple place, my 'plend' ( like the hausa man would say)
Romance / Re: Beauty Vs Brains? by Tweek: 6:53pm On Aug 06, 2008
if i have someone handsome beyond my wildest imaginations that would kill my imaginative ability and God knows i need my imaginations cuz i am a writer besides that if i don't have my imaginative ability i can't fantasize, not even about Big of Sex and The City. On the other hand, if i go for someone with a brain beyond razor sharp i'd feel stupid everytime so i'll settle for middle ground. average beauty, average brains just like me. no Bill Gates or Denzel Washington--can't put up with the girls, u know. Hey! how come we don't regard our Nigerian Actors as veeeery handsome, can't compare beauty to Jim Iyke or Kalu Ikeagwu, but RMD is spmething.

I wouldn't want to let my tongue loose on Mr Teacher because i am not in his shoes, but i do know one thing which is that men tend to confuse lust with love. I was almost raped in the private primary school which i attended. i was 8, flat chested, without a single strand of hair on my pubes. what was it then, love? Perhaps Mr Teacher if 20, 24 waiting to get into uni or get a better job. what would become of the girl when he meets the hot babes in campus or when she doesn't meet his standard after he's gotten the job?  would i  be wrong to assume that he would have popped her cherry (if she still has any) before dishing her the line "i thought i was in love with you" If that young girl isn't a consenting adult would his interest in her not amount to cradle snatching? if he were a lecturer I wouldn't exercise my jaw over this and God knows if i were the girl's mother i'd sue him before he even mentioned the word 'love'. Get your self together young man and look for someone your age and size to pledge your love for. the young girl doesn't even understand the responsibilities that love brings how could she possibly love you?

Gonorrhea:

@poster/HUXLEY

it looks like your dic.k is bent, small, in-penetrable, useless and flacid, hence u don't mind your wife getting rammed in all corners by any man!

but u wont be the first nor the last!

husband dey sitting room, {akpan) cook dey fuc.k madam toto seriously, john(gardener) sef join, OGA NO SEND, he dey read paper dey go!

I quite agree with all ur posts. I'd like my man to show some signs of jealousy when i as much as flirt with another man. if he doesn't react; he doesn't love me. if he overreacts; he has a problem. haven't we got issues? we've got, i know  wink Ahem, what's with the name Gonorrhea?
