Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has signed a managerial partnership agreement with an international record label, Love Renaissance (LVRN).

Love Renaissance is a Universal Music Group subsidiary and an American record label and management company based in Atlanta, Georgia.

He confirmed it on his Instagram story on Tuesday, shortly after Billboard published the news on their website.

Davido joins foreign artists such as 6lack, Summer Walker, Young Rog, Cruel Santino, and many others in this new collaboration.

"Partnering with the team at LVRN was a no-brainer," Davido said of the new collaboration. They are some of the most brilliant executives in the music industry, and their previous work speaks for itself.

"Their understanding of the global music landscape, combined with their roots in their home country, makes this the ideal partnership." I am excited to work with them and to see what the future holds."

Arsenal’s pursuit of Gabriel Jesus is nearing completion, with reports stating that the Gunners have now agreed on personal terms with the Manchester City star.

Mikel Arteta is edging closer to completing the transfer of his number one transfer target in Gabriel Jesus. The Gunners agreed to terms over the fee with Manchester City of £45 million a couple of days ago. It was thought that City wanted more than £60 million for the diminutive forward, but Arsenal seems to have negotiated the Premier League champions down.

Some Amazon customers are about to get their packages by drone, not delivery driver.

Amazon said Monday it'll start making Prime Air deliveries via drone later this year.
It'll begin in Lockeford, California. Customers will have packages dropped off in their backyards.
Amazon packages you receive later this year could be delivered by a drone, not a driver at least if you live in one California town.

That's because Amazon will soon start making deliveries via Prime Air using drones, the company said in a press release Monday. It'll start in Lockeford, California, later this year.

Customers there will see items available for Prime Air delivery on Amazon. They'll make purchases as usual, and a drone will fly to the designated delivery location. The device will descend into the customer's backyard, hover and release the package, and fly back up again.

Amazon says its drones have a "sense-and-avoid system" that helps them spot both stationary and moving objects to avoid colliding with people, pets, other aircraft, and other obstacles. The drones course-correct if they identify obstacles in order to avoid them and, when descending at a customer's home, they make sure the surrounding area is empty for landing, Amazon added.

The sound of snoring, the tugging of blankets, and the bumping of limbs are all registering on some level, and yet far from interrupting your sleep, new research suggests sharing a bed could actually make you feel like you've had a better night of rest.

At least, that is, when you're sleeping with a spouse or partner; if someone regularly sleeps with their child, they generally report greater insomnia than those who sleep alone.

The findings are based on survey responses and sleep scores from more than 1,000 working-age adults in the US, and they suggest that whom we sleep next to can impact how good we feel when we wake up.

Compared to those who slept alone, participants who shared a bed with their partner reported less fatigue and an ability to fall asleep faster and sleep longer.

This group also had lower depression, anxiety, and stress scores than those who slept alone.

Google is rolling out a handful of new travel planning features just in time for summer vacation.

In a blog post published on Monday, VP of Travel Products Richard Holden revealed some of the new tools that are now available to travelers, including notifications for when airline ticket costs dip and new features for finding the best hotel, restaurant and attractions within a brief walking distance.l

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly ‘set to sign’ his contract ahead of his free transfer back to Ligue 1 side Lyon.

The 31-year-old progressed through the ranks at Lyon. He netted 129 goals in 275 games for the French side.

This form tempted Arsenal to break their club-record transfer fee to sign Lacazette in 2017 for £46.5m.

Presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has promised to rehabilitate the displaced people of Bakassi if elected president.

Former governor of Borno, Hashim Shettima, said equity, justice and fairness demand that power must go to the south, and that Tinubu deserves the job because he has made a huge sacrifice to sustain democracy.
Ganduje also supported zoning the presidency to the South, saying Kano would swing votes in favour of Tinubu.

The Nigerian female basketball team, D’Tigress have been kicked out of the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup after the Federal Government withdrew all teams from international competitions.

D’Tigress had qualified for the World Cup billed for Sydney, Australia, starting in September 2022, after defeating France and Mali in the final qualifying tournament.

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, has promised Cross River delegates a functional seaport in the state.

Responding, the state party Chairman, Alphonsus Eba, described Tinubu as the pillar of the party.
He assured the aspirant of the state’s total support.

Six weeks of testimony over sensational allegations of domestic violence and emotional abuse did undeniable damage to the public images of both Depp, 58, and Heard, 36, with millions around the world following every step of the trial and taking sides on social media. On Wednesday, the Virginia jury largely decided in Depp’s favor, awarding him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages for what it deemed were Heard’s defamatory claims against him. (The latter was reduced by the judge to Virginia’s statutory cap of $350,000.) The jury also awarded $2 million in compensatory damages to Heard in her counterclaim.


Heading into the trial, Depp boasted by far the larger career between the two exes, having racked up more than $8 billion in worldwide box office grosses thanks to blockbusters including the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, “Alice and Wonderland” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” In his suit against Heard, in which he sought $50 million in damages, Depp claimed he had lost tens of millions of dollars worth of career earnings because of her allegations against him.

The 20-year-old singer apparently broke up with boyfriend Matthew Tyler Vorce at some point in the recent past — and we know this because the split is just now being confirmed by the 30-year-old actor himself!

“Grown-ish” star Yara Shahidi graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Thursday

The 22-year-old actor’s father, Afshin, celebrated the special moment by sharing a selfie of the two together. In the snap, shared on Instagram, the graduate is wearing her black cap and gown with a stole draped over her shoulders.

“Beautifully surreal moment seeing our delicate petal in full bloom,” her dad captioned his photo, tagging the “Black-ish” star and his wife, Keri. Shahidi reposted her father’s photo on her Instagram story.

Her mom also shared a photo of her daughter smiling and holding flowers after her graduation.

The actor had been preparing for the big day by sharing photos of herself “celebrating all week” on Instagram. On Wednesday, she also posted a photo with her brothers, Sayeed and Ehsan, on the steps of the university campus.

“T-Minus 1 day to GRADUATION so here I am, sharing this special moment with my most special day one’s,” she captioned her Instagram photo.

Shahidi was accepted into Harvard in 2017 but took a gap year before beginning her studies. Former first lady Michelle Obama wrote her a college recommendation letter.
