The joint admission and matriculation board has extended its closing date to september 15 2017. Adding that, the site will be shut down after the closing date. Speaking with News agency of Nigeria NAN, in Abuja, the head of media and information of the joint admission and matriculation board, Fabian Benjamin, advised all candidates that are yet to register on the portal to do so as there will be no other grace for extension.

He also stress the need for every candidate to use make use of an approved computer based test CBT for their examination centre and added that candidates should re-upload their ‘O’ level results on their new website, pointing that, the previous portal did not allow for the capturing of candidates level of grades.

However, if you feel you what you uploaded before was good, there is no need to re-upload, Benjamin Fabian added.

It is not a news to hear that our lawmakers fight in Nigeria, especially in this part of Benin City Edo state. This time, it took a new dimension after the speaker Dr. Justin Okonoboh was impeached as the EDHA speaker which now resulted to the fight in Edo state House of Assembly EDHA.

From our source, the fight in Edo state House of Assembly was caused by a woman, following an impeachment notice which was signed by 16 members, out of the 24 members of the assembly.

The Supreme Court, on Monday,
upheld the election victory of Governor
Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.

In an unanimous judgment, a seven-man
panel of Justices of the apex court headed
by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice
Walter Onnoghen, dismissed appeal that
was lodged by gubernatorial candidate of
the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the
September 28, 2016 governorship election
in Edo State, Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
The apex court court panel held that both
interlocutory and main Appeal Ize-Iyamu
lodged before it lacked merit.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court said it
would on July 24, give reasons why it
validated the election of Obaseki who
emerged on the platform of the All
Progressive Congress, APC.

Benin-Lagos road blocked! closed to Okada junction.
though it's coming late from me, My apologies. I had issues with my network yesterday.
Now the report...
To my best of knowledge, it was blocked by the Edo state luxury drivers over the death of one of their own.
According to my different sources, it was alleged that there was a high way robbery which occured within the hour of 4:00a.m to 8:00am yesterday, which now led to one of the robbery men shooting one of the passengers, and killing one of the lorry driver.
I also learnt that before now an incident like this had occurred before which led to the death of some of the drivers.
so upon this occurence, they had to block the roads as a way of displaying their grievance and agitations of what has been going on in silence, and now demands the attention of the state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki before the road could be opened.
Though the road has been opened after meeting with the Governor who was represented by the Governor's secretary,but the traffic is still very much congested.
Now the question is where was our security operatives during the robbery for a period of 4hours, despite the sporadic shootings in the air causing awareness??
I just pity the travellers of yesterday.

As of the time of writing you this morning, the road is cleared now. travellers can make a journey now.
