My GTB online statement comes stamped so I just print and submit. But my zenith bank didn’t come with stamp so had to go to the bank and get it stamped. Better safe than sorry.

Please I need assistance.

I want to visit Portugal or Greece this summer for holiday. Note: I am in the UK

I don't know where to begin. Please who can guide me.

Where do I start with the visa?

If I wish to visit Portugal must I get the Visa from them or is there a European country with an easier visa system. If, for instance I get the Visa of another European country, can I use it and enter Portugal?

Thank you

In that case what is the difference with just distributing that money to the poor citizens of the USA for free ? It would be even better than giving the money to billionaires and having the billionaires give crumbs to a few selected poor people known as "the workers".
You could also use that money to build bridges, or to rebuild the failing infrastructure or for health-care. What does making bombs for Ukraine add to the lives of average poor USA citizens ?

If the USA wants to use it's money to build stuff to send abroad to non Americans for no benefit to americans, then they should send me some billions worth of apple computers 💻 That would be more useful than building bombs for people whom are about to be defeated and to surrender those bombs to Russia.

We don't live in an ideal world.

Alas $60 billion fund for Ukraine 🇺🇦 Israel and Taiwan has been approved.

When you have too much money and you don’t know what to use spend it on. I hope Trump wins the imminent election.

Significant amount of the money will be spent in US industries producing arms. It is not like all of it is free cash to those countries.

Please can someone advise. Does the ban on care workers bringing dependents affect those already in the UK. I apologise if this has already been answered.

People already here and on a work visa.

Someone who is here, but not already on a care visa, will face the same restrictions as someone applying out of country from next year because the statistics do not make the distinction between those who applied for a work visa in the UK Vs outside the UK. It counts work visas the same way.

As we wait for the details, I belive that the target are those yet to be in the UK. People already here, once they meet the threshold should be able to keep their families. The policy will not apply retrogressively. They should be able to transition into work visas and transition the status of their dependents without having to break up families, ie, applicants remaining and dependents forced to go home. This will be hard to imagine asking people to throw away their dependents already here.

Zahra29…. What’s the fate of people with dependents here on visa renewal after in about 2 years or so?

This their confusion is confusing oo…

Will they ask their dependents to return home during renewal??😹😹😹

Although the announcements are based on broad policies and not detailed regulations, a careful analysis of the words will suggest that it will target "bringing people into the UK" as opposed to those who are already here.

PLEASE I need advice not insult. Thank you in ADVANCE. I've been in the UK with this care visa work for seven months without my sponsor agency giving me work. Now I've been able to get work at a very far place outside London which I go to by entering train 5am while returning by 9 to 10pm. I cannot relocate to the place because I'm currently been accommodated by someone. Going to work is almost costing an arm and leg as I've not been paid till month end. Someone told me to be buying under age ticket rather than normal one. My main question is not the fine as life is risk BUT if caught, CAN IT AFFECT ILR IN 5 YEARS TIME?

How long do you travel daily?

You can be prosecuted for this. And apart from paying a heavy fine, you will be enlisted as an offender, as a convict. This is not good at all.

I will suggest. See if there are rail cards you qualify for. On the last working day of the week you can try coming back by road.

Hi guys, after much applications for remote customer service jobs, I got a positive feedback from a company. Fully remote. They want me to start immediately but the draw back is that its just a 3 months fixed contract. I don't know if it's okay to quit my full time care job for this one. And I don't know what will happen afterwards.

Please advise

Is there hope of an extension? Good thing that the job is remote. So you can either do nights for the care job or go part time for either.

Go through rightmove and spareroom. Tbh, the probability that you will get a house from Naija is very slim. Consider airbnb or stay with friends/families for few weeks
to allow you settle in.
SpareRoom especially. You might see someone willing to sublet

Afternoon Everyone. Abeg. ,I wan make enquiry into the bus fare in uk. How is calculated, is it base on monthly payment as I wan try cut my coat accordingly make transport fare no eat all my earnings like it does in lagos where one go dey earn 150k monthly and use 75k as T fare grin.

So, who fit explain this for me abeg. grin

Is that for bus or train services. And how can one know the daily fare to and fro.

I gat do my calculations well b4 I go collect house 🏠 😄

And again. Hope it's allowed to use bicycle. If worst comes to worst. Nah bicycle go end am o.

Transport costs will depend on where you are going. If you frequent a particular location in the city, say for work, it might be better to pay for the weekly or monthly ticket. Will save you some money. Or if you have to make several journeys to and fro a particular location just for a day, you can buy a 24hr ticket. Otherwise, you can pay as you enter each bus. Also consider whether you will board 2 different buses to get to work, instead of paying twice each day, your weekly or monthly ticket covers this. Let's do the maths: if for instance, you spend 6 quids each day on bus, and you work for 4 days a week, that's 24 pounds; the weekly ticket might be 20 pounds. So you are saving 4 pounds a week.

For long distant journeys, trains are faster but more expensive. Download coach apps, you can get cheaper prices online than you will get at the office.

Abeg oo,for those wen dey UK. As me and madam dey reason come that end. Madam Sha dey come for masters degree,me dey come into dependant. And I hear say Dem dey pay 10 pounds per hour. Make una no vex oo,with all this tax bills etc..Shea I fit still save up to #400k month? Pls I need mature ansaa. Me na full time hustle I dey come do. Pls I need honest ansas. Tanks in advance

With kids, one of you may choose to work night, while the other can do a day job. Honestly I am shocked when I hear that people can't save anything in the UK. As far as both of you are working and you live within your means, you will save more than that.

I will say to you: everything depends on how you live and how much you can work. Even with 500k in Lagos, many will struggle.
