Not sure but will have to ask the mechanic to check. But no overheating probs from my experience. But I was asked to check for "indomie..."

Will have to run a check just to be sure though. Any idea of how much it cost to scan cars? Hope it doesn't plunge a hole in one's pocket tho grin

My Toyota Corolla 1.8GL 2006 model thirst/guzzles fuel like a power hungry lad (in the region of 18litres/40km). What could be the cause of this? I'm really concerned. Any info to help fix this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@OP I see a lot of ajebomarket ads online. Any idea where they source their sneakers and running shoes (like Nike Airmax etc)? Will really appreciate your response. Thanks

gideon286:

Yeah ... This is because you wanna know two or more products that will do well in the market, and keep selling same products for the next 2 or 3 months since already you test to confirm that their demand rate in the market is high and prompt.

You don't wanna buy any product and be stressing yourself looking for buyers even haven wasted money on Ads. This is why anyone that wanna go far in profit through mini importation must adhere to product testing before importing any product.

It's advantage is that if you test some products and confirm they have encouraging and prompt response rate in the market, they'll be fetching you huge and continues profit for a long time.

You can either ignore people that needs it or give them a specified time to wait until the product arrives.

....i asked the shithead question....

I remember he did apologised for not seeing the question...and answered afterwards (I read thru the thread few days ago).

...i wanted to buy his stupid course but i learnt it free of charge and got my goods three weeks back

He didnt force anyone to buy anything. Your honest comments above smacks of high-handedness and ungratefulness (for one who chosed to share this opportunity FoC on NL).

It is very discouraging to others who might want to share opportunities in the future with others and attitude like this, is antithetical to progress and is a path not to follow.

@lovemko let it be. No perfect saints or perfect sinners! OP is a person at the end of the day BUT who has a good heart. OP tend to the young man. Be the guide and mentor you are. It is never an easy path. It is noble and the crown fits the patient!

Please can you share a walk through (on the mini importation) if you don't mind. It will be beneficial. Thanks

WalkerMichael:

Invest just 1m into mini importation, and receive steady profit of 200-300k every month bro. Just buy 100pcs of a fast selling item, sell with profit margin of just 4k (Christmas season is here already too, the buying frenzy season) . Mini importation is hard work but very profitable, I've been doing it for over a year .

I can handle it for you if you don't mind bro. Can we fix a meet up?

There are exceptions to this though smiley

@foreign affairs for Europe? Not heard of that. If you mean verify like University Admissions for Swedish Unis, they'll send a mail to your school to verify your transcript. Mode of verification if any (country or Uni-specific), will be communicated to you.

You aren't going to a Malaysian school (lool). Leave out Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education [floor 8] for now

@mayfav, just in case you have the dough 2burn without plugging a hole in your pocket, instead of a Mac or the less cheaper brands, Go for Dell XPS 13 (2019). It's a dream 2work with and behold.

n/b - this like other top performers uses SSD - 256GB in XPS (which is upgradable to something bigger for more storage space). Also it has an empty 2.5 sata slot to add your HDD (use as secondary drive)....though your core OS and code program files shd boot from your SSD. You can choose to buy a bigger SSD (1TB) instead of a slower HDD if cash is not an issuesmiley)

Hope this helps. Got some more extra bucks to spend? The all rounder beast of a marathon machine that gets you covered for any programming task/development - Samsung Notebook 9 (8th Gen core i7, 16GB RAM, Nvidia graphic card, 16hrs battery life and all the top end specs) is waiting for you!!!
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by vkyburnz: 12:35am On Nov 12, 2019
lool, that can't be true na. Glean NCI site well. Ideally you need a laptop with core i5 processor and 8GB RAM to run your data analytics programs/codes (R, Python, SQL, Tableau, etc). BTW 8th Gen core i3 + 8GB RAM can do the jobsmiley Stick with core i5 though make perzin no bounce you (joking sha)

System specs above can handle almost any programming task except you are into heavy graphic/game development that you may require 12 - 16 RAM (or more), dedicated Nvidia graphic card and maybe a core i7.

Macs are OK/recommended if you wanna work with iOS apps and related apple product development. Outside that, other brands (Acer, Lenovo, HP, Asus etc) will compile & run your codes (extract data, do plots, scrape, etc) smoothly at a cheaper price than a MAC (which are more expensive for the recommended specs above)

Mayfav:
Hello everyone, please I want to ask anyone studying business analytics/data analytics at Dublin business school if we can bring our laptops from Nigeria.I was told students studying IT related courses at NCI were only allowed to use MAC/Apple laptops. I want to know if there are such rules for IT students in dublin business school,as I am planning to buy my laptop in Nigeria before coming (January intake).Thanks.

Travel / Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by vkyburnz: 6:10pm On Oct 30, 2019
Really appreciate@pompido. Quite revealing.....

pompido:

GISMA is a private university and unless you are ready to dole out 15k euros upwards, then try the free universities and put the 15k in your blocked account. The advantage with GISMA is that their programs are usually 1year so you get to finish faster but the con of this is you get very little time to settle down and integrate in Germany (i.e. get internships, work as a student. etc.). You also end up with maximum of 1year residence permit because your program is for a year meaning even if you want to spend more time (taking a semester off) will require you to jump more hoops to get an extension. This is Berlin that gives 3years permit to tuition free students.

I have a friend that just started there this winter despite my objection. The school waited till last minute to let her know they couldn't help with accommodation even though it was part of their care package. She now pays 700 euros per month for rent after spending 2 weeks in an Airbnb apartment of over 30 euros a night.

So think about your short and long term objectives to help you in making a decision.

lool...he just shared his experiences so far and u still dey ask question.

He is in Ireland and not in Germany, Australia or Canada

But from what he has said and from "let's make our nation great again", You must understand that you have to work very hard + Gods mercies as whities consider their people first during job applications/interviews, if it's EU nation, EU next, Americans/ other whites and the guy from Naija last. Same thing in Germany. Same in Australia and Canada.

For critical skill areas with shortages, colour might not be important from Ireland to Germany.

That's what I gathered from here and from close friends living and working abroad for a while now.

But you must remember, it is very possible to achieve anything outside the shores of Nigeria. You must just be ready to put in the work and look last those little discrimations and continue to press on while there.....

Fiyinfoluwa20:

Solid guy, I like your willingness and courage to discuss these things.

Please, I also have a commercial background and currently in Naij and working.

I am also considering a post grad in finance and Ireland is one of the countries I am considering with the end goal of settling and working in Investment Banking or Consulting.

Based on your experience, would you say Ireland is a better place to come (vs Australia, Canada and Germany ?)

What are the chances of getting a job in a bulge bracket investment bank and top consulting firms if I graduated with a first class from schools like;

Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin , National University of Ireland.

Please advise.

Suggested paid PhD...you will find a lot on eures site. You get paid while doing PhD. Average in Sweden for instance is 39k krones/month b4 tax (about €3,627.91). Believe that should be comparative in Ireland too. You can contact Irish (UK/Canada/Sweden etc) Uni lecturers versed in a chosen area in Accounting that you find exciting via their uni profile page to discuss if theyre opportunities for a paid PhD. U can put a call through!

We are trying to look at various options available. I expect you, like myself (if I were to finish my MSc there) to use the first one year after school to work 40hrs/week (to raise money) while looking for a proper job related to your field.

Bros just don't give up. See infinite possibilities. It's going to happen for you. You got to win inside first. Pray too. God will help you bro. If others found a way to stay in Ireland and other parts of Europe and did well down the years, you will too! You will get something better if you don't quit.

Broda, your best is yet to come!

Bjrokenhear003:

Thanks for your contribution, my brother. With PhD you get stamp 4 on completion which is so true. My last certificate in education is my ACCA, my mates are counting money and i should still be in education. Its not done like that. This degree i have acquired, I need to make use of it to get my initial investment, not rushing for another one. Them no born me to read and die lol
