If your friends correct details were used including her email, year of birth and names, your friend can check the results for her self and if she really did win, she can print out her results with her case number and take it from there and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. she should go to the website and click on forgot password and enter her true details. the system will give her the confirmation number with which she can continue checking.

if on the other hand a different email address was used, she will be told that there are no matching records. if that is the case, she will need to tread carefully. it is possible she was selected, but it is also possible she really wasnt selected in which case the plan will be to hustle her for as much money as they can before she gives up. she has to find a way to know for sure without parting with too much money or information herself.

Thanks,she won the DV lottery,the only problem is that the guy that plays for her inssisted they will arrange someone else as her hubby instead of her husband.she's married with a kid now.she has the print out with her.

Hmmm this is a difficult situation! something similar happened to a friend years ago, and she lost it. Your friend has to be very careful, although now, it's more difficult to scuttle her chance than when it happened to my friend years ago. She should try and acquire all the necessary documents used to file her DV lottery immediately and submit. The guy can't do much, no matter what he says to the US embassy, he is the one guilty of trying to create a fraudulent marriage. That he played for her means absolutely nothing, after all its absolutely free. She needs to keep records of all correspondence he sends concerning the fake marriage. But for peace to reign, she may have to try and reason with him.

I'm new here on this forum and I need your help concerning a friend of mine.she won visa lottery to Us,someone actually played for her and she won.now the guy said they wanted to attach a guy she doesn't even know as her husband,she's married with a kid.but the lottery was played while she was still single.pls what can she do?this guy kept saying without him she can't go to the embassy to get the visa.should the girl just appear at the embassy with the husband or what?what does she need to present at the embassy?and how will she go about it?thanks and God bless.
