Family / Re: Well, She Called Off Our Wedding. by Yettyflower: 10:07am On Jul 24, 2021
don4real18:
Some months ago, I was supposed to get married to a lovely lady (Alias-Celia) whom I thought the universe made just for me. I find it unfortunate that this beautiful story was just never meant to be. This write-up is my story.
______________________________________________
Five years ago, while we both stared at the moon sitting in my compound and telling tales of our childhood, I studied her profile. She had a perfect-shaped jaw with rounded edges, full lips, and her ability to smile with so much ease. Her skin glowed against the moonlight, and her aura filled with so much innocence. It was no surprise when I finally popped the question asking her to be my girlfriend.

Four days later, I got a yes as her reply, and it became a beautiful relationship. Our companionship was a show of true love, or so I thought. She taught me to be a better kisser, and I made her be a better lover. We did almost everything together, and when challenges came, we solved them even though she was stubborn; A bit more than me.

Many moons down the line of love and sometimes distrust, she was to relocate to the FCT, the state where her family resides. I knew I was going to miss her, and it wasn't easy letting her go.

We did part ways at the airport, and ever since then, we were always on calls. I did notice later that I did most of the calling, and as time went on as it must, the regular calls became once in a while, and soon, it became longer.

I did play a little with other girls and tried getting into a relationship with others, but it just didn't work out. Perhaps, I wanted the kind of love that they could not give in return. It was no surprise when years later, my calls with Celia became regular and, I didn't mind doing most of the calling.

Soon, I traveled to Abuja, and she didn't seem enthusiastic about seeing me, even though my love clawed at my heart with a renewed burst of energy. This time, I decided that I wouldn't let go. I stayed in FCT for a while, I met her family, and I guess her feelings returned.

I returned to Lagos to continue working, and some months down the line, I was in Abuja again to see the one that I loved. We agreed that she would have to come to Lagos, and some months after I left Abuja, she arrived in the rowdy Lagos.

She met my family, and I popped the question, "will you marry me?" in a romantic atmosphere, and she was so happy that she was going to spend the rest of her life with me.

We made plans until the event of Corona took place, and it greatly affected my business. I became broke, but that didn't stop me from traveling to 3 different states to meet her family members and her pastor in FCT.

We did agree that we were going to have a small wedding, and the day of the introduction came, and I traveled with my family, spent a lot of money on hotel bills, etc. It did go well, and that was when it started.

She reneged on our agreement on the size of the wedding. She told me that she wanted to have her dream wedding although she had no money. I could not bring myself to spend so much on a wedding only to end up eating hand to mouth in my marriage. It became a back and forth argument. Her dad wanted it small, but her siblings wanted it big. My mum did try to advise her, but she felt my mum shouldn't have a say in her wedding being a supposed generation Z.

I did have to look for ways she would be happy without spending too much. Then the counseling issue came, and I was informed to come back to Abuja by her pastor. It was inconvenient, so I told her to recommend virtual counseling because I'm not ready to go and spend a lot staying there. She was mad at my response, saying that it was disrespectful, suggesting such to a supposed man of God, making it disrespectful to God.

I did try to let her know that we could use the money to do something else, but she was adamant. After some time, I did succumb to her demand, but she felt that it should not have led to an argument in the first place and decided to call the wedding off. I tried calming her down and even suggested that we postpone it, but she wouldn't budge with a reason so petty. It hurt at first. It made me lose focus for a while, but I guess I've pretty patched up now hence my decision to share with you all.

God bless us all.

Sorry. She didn't love you, you were more of a curiosity. She liked that you had potential but she isn't too sure you will make it since you want to settle small.
Just get money. She will come back. If you really want her back, do whatever it takes mad make money and you can marry her, or ditch her on the new wedding of which she will have Field all or most of the money for grin, or you can repair you relationship and become happily married.
Solution--get money.

If your struggle is anyway of the mental kind there is no reason to accept it as your lot. The teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ do not stand against our seeking medical or mental help when we are sick and unable to obtain healing. While you seek God, nothing stops you from using Flu medication, Malaria drugs, or even seeing a doctor if you need one. undecided

Thanks. Tho this is not the case.

I went through suffering for many years that nearly killed me. It was the grace of God that helped to me overcome. Looking back now I am thankful to God for the suffering He allowed me to go through. If God had not allowed me to go through many trials before blessing me I would have died before my time.

Talking about your suffering I deeply understand your pains and what you have gone through because I too have suffered. Please forgive me If I sound like blaming you over anything. I will only blame you if you go back into the world. I am only trying to encourage you to be ready to suffer more because a true christian is known by their suffering for being Christ-like. Not everyone will suffer poverty but everyone has their own share of suffering in this life. Some people will suffer sickness but the worst of the worst is poverty.

You are getting me wrong. I am not saying that you are the cause of your suffering . All I m saying is that be faithful to God no matter what you go through. I am only trying to encourage you that your suffering doesn't mean that God is not aware of all you are going through.

I implore you to be strong and not let any unpleasant situation of life shake you out of your faith in God. Yettyflower, you need to understand that trials reveals your hidden capacity to stand firm and it also reveals the bad people around your life

Be ready to suffer more.
Be courageous and dont give up

Thank you.
I will hold the flame till i win.

I open a new thread just to write you here because I wanted others to see their own impatient as most people do not understand the jouney of faith. You made a statement that shows that your mindset is a problem to youself. You complain that you stop smoking when you receive a prophecy that didn't come to pass and sometimes you felt like going back to your past life.

God is not the problem, you are the problem because you haven't understand that a true christian is known by their suffering and love. Your life here on earth is like a spiritual school, how faithful you are in every phase of life (classes of trials) your faithness and patient will determine your next level in the school of trials. God can instantly bless you with money but that blessing can become dangerous to your physical life and your spiritual wellbeing if you are not spiritually mature.

You said you sometime wonder why God let's all that so called bad people have all they wants. It looks as if he just rewards all those who go against what he says they should do.

Those bad guys will temporarily have all they want base on God permissive will, you will not have all that you wants base on God's perfect will and His timming.

It is obvious that in this world, one can lie, cheat and rob others to gain temporary wealth. There are three areas that determine whether the wealth comes from God or from the Devil; a blessing or a curse. Even if only one of these areas were true, the curse would be upon the wealth. Wealth from the devil involves wealth from acts of sin, is maintained by acts of sin and propagates more acts of sin. The source, the upkeep and the goal of the supply of this money is evil. All wealth that involves the breaking of God's law is wealth from the devil. It continues to sustain the breaking of the law of God and encourages others to be wealthy by the same wicked means.

Wealth from God will come in God's timing and His blessings added no sorow. God can open a financial door for you but that doesn't mean that he has started blessing you; The blessings of God is extreme and you need to develope Godly characters to maintain God blessings.

Another thing is that you must pay a price of faith for you to obtain all your heart desires from God. For you to obtain your heart desires you must wait upon he Lord in faithfulness and in suffering.

If you want to share God's glory, you must also share His suffering. You must be willing to endure humiliation, shame and disgrace, poverty and suffering.

Going back to your former life can only put you in more bondage that may likely destroy you. Most of the things you crave for right now you dont need them in your journey of faith which is your true life and the path to your destiny. You must learn to let go of many things and look unto what is ahead. (new things will come)

Accept tears, pains, poverty, humiliation, shame and disgrace as a means to be humble. Use every challenge to be a good and humble man.

If you want God to bless you then the cross await you. I could say more to you but there is no need

I say to you: A genuine christian is known by their suffering and love

It's easy for you to say such cause life is easy for you.
Suffering? You have no idea how much suffering I endured, I almost always think of suicide.
The constant prophets that come and say 'you should have been more than' this even makes it worse.

Isn't it God that's supposed to be make maker, then he would know that he is breaking me not bending me. If fact I think he wants me to become a bad person cause the more I sustain being good, the worse things get.
So many skills I have and no job, so many people who could help but no aid.

Must I die before he is satisfied, I'm not Job neither do I want such a fate.

It's quite easy for you to blame me for my woes and I can see how you jumped on that wagon, you must really think I don't want the best for myself, anyways I would prefer if he uses the staff and not the rod. I really don't understand why all the suffering is necessary.
The only sense it makes is for me to have compassion (limitlessly) .

Hi guys. Wow never knew there would be a day I'd be posting on this side of the forum. Glory be to God.

I'm finding my paths to spirituality. My goal has always been to establish a relationship, a Communion with God. Knowing that he is with me and hearing my prayers ...

But I've been struggling with Marijuana addiction. And the devil often use this addiction to remind me of how far I am from God's grace. Even in the middle of prayers .

It's unfortunate that I've made the habit a must do in my life and it is difficult to quit. Always thought a job could help me but I find myself using it as an escape to work stress.

I'm at a point where I feel that this habit is the only thing separating me from God's entire will in my life. I have deep convictions that I have a ministry to fulfill. I have faith that it will soon be a thing of the past , as I continually seek God's intervention.

Guys who has been in my shoes before? How did you overcome? How do you deal with the recurrent guilt ?

I stopped smoking immediate I was given a prophecy not to, unfortunately all the things promised to me when I was told to stop didn't show...still broke with a lot of projects on hand, bills and all the rest, yet I still don't smoke.
Sometime I feel like smoking cause, (you know how the high is naw) but hear I am, the fool that still believes in God's word, even tho all around me, it is clear that being bad= being rich.
Health / Re: Help! My Younger Brother Is Going Mad by Yettyflower: 3:24pm On May 08, 2021
Mrskillz1:
I am from a family of three. I have two brothers. One older and the other younger than me so I'm the only girl in my family.

I grew up seeing my Mom mad.
By my teen age, I got admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University alongside my elder brother who was to study Engineering. By the time I was in my finals, my brother was getting ready for IT. One day, his roommate sent for me, he said they couldn't sleep the night before because my brother was talking to himself. Before we knew what was happening, my brother was getting violent and so we took him home and he never got back to finish school.
I proceeded with my education and finished. Went for NYSC. While serving the nation, My Mom died. When I got home, she'd been buried.
But my brother was still mad.

I later got job, took my brother to a Psychiatric hospital and the doctor after examining him said he is Schizophrenic. He was asked to stay in the hospital.
I paid. He then stayed there for one month. When I came to visit him, he pleaded with me to take him home that he didn't like it there.

So I took him home. Every month, I buy drugs for him and he gets injected. He usually puts up a fight but with the help of my younger brother, neighbors and a certain nurse, he receives the injection, forcefully and against his will.
Often times, he pleads with me not to inject him, the very time I obliged him, he scattered things, didn't allow the neighborhood sleep, talked throughout some nights and wouldn't eat sometimes. He looked really sick then but with the injection, one will hardly know he's not normal.
I told him that I won't let him miss his injection ever again.

Now, on Monday, my younger brother woke up and was unusually quiet. He normally wakes up and begins to play music with his phone or he will turn to football channel and watch until I leave for work. But I didn't go to work on Monday and I noticed he was quiet, then I asked him why he's quiet. He didn't respond. After some hours, I asked my Dad if he feels he's okay, My Dad said that he wants to be quiet and that I should let him be.

Then, that night, around 4am, my brother began to talk. He was shouting and some of the things he said were not coherent. He talked out of point. I and my Dad, with my elder brother surrounded him and I couldn't help crying when my Dad was cautioning him to keep quiet and he refused.
Neighbours thought it was my elder brother's voice they'd heard that night but by the time they heard in the morning that it was my younger brother, they visited my Dad in the evening. By then, my brother was still talking and even burnt his clothes yesterday.
My Dad got a few guys to chain him because he was violent yesterday when I left the house.
I know the problem is spiritual. I have prayed, fasted for my elder brother and now this!
I'm so unhappy.

Can someone suggest a place I can take my two brothers to so they can be cured, please.

Success in making money consistently online.

One of the most searched topics on Google is “How to make money online”, I mean who doesn't want to live good well?
I was lucky not to spend years working to make money online and here's how to avoid being frustrated online.

I’ll be putting both legal and barely legal ways to make money online.
Barely legal here implies the use of vpns, proxies, and tunnels in order
To make money online.

You can use your hobbies to make money online,it's all up to you.

For those who want to make the fastest(making up to 10,000$ online) money online scroll to the end of the topic. I won’t be posting such info here because too many people will abuse it, for those who are familiar with Admob, can see how it became difficult in the long run for after it was abused.

People come online looking for how to be the next Bill Gates,Mark Zuckerberg, but end up losing money and time following up one method or another and falling for quick rich schemes.

Topics like how to make this amount of money in no time, no stress are often misleading. And after months and months and month of trying many of these people come to the conclusion that it's impossible to make money online.

I want to tell you that there are ways of making money online however they fall into two categories.
1---you pay for the privileged knowledge and start making money,

2---or you invested a lot of time and a lot of resources and networking, THEN you start making money.
Now I'm going to introduce to you a few steps to take yourself out of the rabbit hole, and the rat race start making money online .

Firstly.
● Don't start an online business, yes that's right, surprised, don't start one till you have a boat load of cash or Start as a part -time thing. Don't quit your job and focus solely on an online business when there are bills that are due next week.

You have to have a source of income to help support your online business.
If you don't have money coming from other sources of income, an online business will be a problem and affect you adversely because you'll be spending money while being online without making money.

Second is RESEARCH.
Good research is one of the keys to success at anything worth doing. A lot of people are going to say, “ how do i know what's important?”, “too much junk online, what is useful?” “My success story, how do I get there?”, you have to know as much as possible about any online business you want to go into, focus more on the practical aspects of the business.

Learn and know the top people in the fields you want to join, know this by checking out figures, not pictures or stuff they say about themselves. Know the figures to go with the man, that way you KNOW that these people have the knowledge and then you follow the direction they follow. Using this you avoid people who are just there to sell ebooks and seminars and sell you the provincial shit.

A good example here is an obvious question, who is the richest man in the world?

The average man would say
“Oh easy, bill gates, warren buffett, Carlos Slim.” someone who did his research would say, “Do you know how much money the Rothschild family has?“
Now that's a man who does his research.
Know the differences between what LOOKS successful and is successful.

Research allows you to be able to avoid the pitfalls that others have gone through. It may look like repetition when sieving through all this data you gather on your search, however you might just figure out a less stressful and faster way of getting things done.

The third thing is interest:
interest has to do with what you like to do.
Things that you like and enjoy doing are things that you most likely will be successful at,
● singing ,
● Dancing,
● Writing,
● sports ,
● analyzing movies, if you like it, it can make you money.
Its beautiful to get paid for your hobbies isn't it.

Go transcribe is an example of an online business that started with hard hard work.
A few years back they were a small company with less than 20 staff, who invested their life savings and time into the company.
Today they are one of the top transcription services with thousands of staff.
They had to constantly improve to be where they are today.

The last thing here is keep at it.
Grinding:
Success is the sum of small efforts - repeated day in and day out. - Robert Collier

If you want to be great at something all you have to do is keep at it and set a goal. keep at what you have chosen to go through and you will become one of the people you've looked up to sooner than you think.

You only truly fail when you quit.

The ways to make money online you can start with,

● Starting a Youtube channel: this is the simplest way of making money online and needs no investment.
YouTube gets almost 5 billion video views per day which proves its power on the internet.

Felix Kjellberg, the owner of PewDiePie (a YouTube account), has earned 10 million dollars in 2015 by running a single YouTube channel.

● Blogging:
Being a blogger is one of the easiest ways to earn money from home.
Unlike any other job, if you are blogging from home. You don’t need to work 9-5.

You can work at any time of the day with ease.

But beware blogging takes time before it starts making money for you.

So I suggest you jump into this field slowly.
If you have a day job, don’t quit it. Start part-time with your blog.
Once it is on the stage where it is earning you more than your comfortable limits then it’s the best time to turn into full-time blogging mode.
