So my divorced cousin has been through a series of committed relationships since the crash of his marriage. He moved into a neighborhood barely six months ago after breaking up with his last fiance almost a year ago. He met a girl in her mid twenties who is about fifteen years younger and they hit it off as friends. The younger girl lives on the same street within an estate with my cousin. Two months ago she told him she was pregnant and refused to get rid of the pregnancy and she is planning to move in with him because he apparently lives alone in a duplex while girl shares a three bedroom apartment with her mom and brother. She is not working and my cousin says he can already feel the pressure and entitlement from her family. Part of what led to the crash of his marriage was that his ex wife's sister lived in the same estate with them and kept meddling into their affairs. He sees the same pattern especially considering that what led to his first marriage was pregnancy. He has other children who are currently outside the country and he is responsible for their upkeep and thinks this new girl who claims she cannot stress herself is all about what she can benefit from him. He is looking for ways to stop her from moving in with him even if he will continue to be responsible for the unborn child |

Hi all So I called my cousin to check up on him yesterday since it’s been a while I heard from him. So in the course of our gist I asked him about his girlfriend who he’s been dating for about two years and practically lives with him now. He resigned from his good paying job about a year ago to focus on his business and he appears like he’s doing well but when he opened up me, I was a little puzzled about the things he revealed The lady he’s been dating is a pastor and they’ve been sleeping with each other but he said most of the time when she’s in his house, his business practically grinds to a halt and that he experiences his biggest breaks and successes whenever they have a misunderstanding and she’s away for days. He said he’s experienced the same scenario like 6 times since quitting his job. As a matter of fact, his most remarkable success was achieved when she was away (following a quarrel) for three weeks. He’s not the type that goes to church but the recent spike in his business when she was not away for about a week and the sudden downturn since she returned about two weeks ago has got him thinking again. He’s quite confused and I told him I’ll pray and get back to him though I don’t even know what to pray about. Has anyone experienced anything like this before and what did you do about it? Does who you’re with affect your business fortunes? |

Hmmm. Thanks for all the advise. I was wrong but there's nothing happening again. Although I used to talk to him fondly about my boss and things in the office which I'm sure makes him not want to trust me. My boss was also at my wedding and he gave us presents and cash which he is aware of. What can I do now? The trust is gone. 1 Like |

Good morning family I can't sleep and cried all night I've been married for 3yrs with a son Before getting married I dated my husband for less than a year and everything was fine. I don't want to bore you with the details but before getting married, my husband and I agreed to be honest and tell each other everything. I told him about my previous affairs and he didn't have problem with it but I couldn't tell him about the one with my present GM because I still work with him. Somehow, he got to find out through one his friends who knows my boss. It's not as if he was told the details but he came from a meeting last Friday asking so many questions. It was about my boss and I had to confess to him. Although what I had with my boss was a fling, he felt I was too cheap as he never asked me out but told me meet him in his house when his wife was away and I did and it happened. Just twice. My husband keeps saying he doesn't trust me anymore. He's stopped touching me and he rarely talks to me and raises his voice now He has a good job that pays well and his salary dwarfs mine but I love the job and my career. What can I do to win him back? I'm confused. Help. No insults please royalroy 5 Likes 4 Shares |

Sterling Towers: Is EKo Atlantic city project indeed ambitious or Federal GOvernment just want to play politics with it? Part of the project is the Great Wall of Lagos which aims at reducing the impact of the ocean surge on the Lagos coastline I wonder why the FG is coming up with this when we shared the EIA with them in the first place? So far, the land reclaimed has provided some barrier and reduced the ubiquitous ocean surges we were all too familiar with God bless the city of Lagos Nothing will stop this project and I repeat nothing 2 Likes

The DAWN agenda will make sense of all these Can a separate thread be created for Oyo instead of derailing this? I also think impressive threads can be created for Osun and Ekiti states as well The SW is on course and we have decided not to wait for any region any longer God bless the Yoruba race 1 Like |

berem: I thought Major Moji Obasanjo was the first woman to occupy that position? Now i know. How dull can one get? If a Major and a Major General mean the same thing, it means the position of a Manager and a General Manager are the same You could at least ask questions before commenting 14 Likes |

If his performance is overhyped, how come it is the number one investment destination in Nigeria? How come, despite being the most populous, the state is about the most peaceful? If with N20bn, Lagos still manages to get by and provide infrastructure for about 20millon people, please tell me what the FG is doing with over N160bn monthly for over 160million Nigerians 46 Likes |

Only a man who is great can command such respect BRF is unarguably the best governor ever and currently the most influential IMO, he commands more respect locally and internationally than the President This shows that hard work and diligence still pays off after all |

If they are up to 35%, there should at least be an Igbo LGA chairperson by now OUK is not only a failure, as his performance as a governor as showed, he is also clueless, as his recent actionless statements have proven, as well as lawless, as his evasion of taxes to the State of Lagos has revealed So tell me how Igbo people's taxes add up to providing infrastructure in the state when they don't even pay it? We know all too well that the figures of their population they've been brandishing are all false as it hasn't influenced the state culturally, socially or politically We also know that their phantom contribution to the GDP is all but lies as Yoruba and foreign dominated industries and companies contribute to over 90% of the state's GDP |
