Hello house I tried to go through the study visa route but my visa got denied.i have decided to go through express entry now. Can the refusal of study visa affect my chance of getting a Pr under under Express entry. please help with a response

Yes o, IQAS is the way to go for Lawyers. I believe law degree alone should be fine (not entirely sure sha).

For law degree use IQAS. Just the LL.B (first degree from university) is fine for now

It is a new program, so no one has much information on it. The only option you have is to google it, read up on it and share any info you are able to gather in order to help others.

The little i read on it, it requires a job offer. I might be wrong thou.

Dear house. Am about to assess my credentials through IQAS. Will Iqas accept transcript sent to them by me or does the transcript have to come from my university while i send the photocopy of my degree certificate myself.

For IQAS it's assessed as First Professional Degree. Try re-evaluate with IQAS. I think it's better that way.

Hello kindly shed more light on assessing Acca qualifications. Did your spouse get any Acca exemptions at any point?

it is sad that WES failed to summarise such certificate as "Two years professional study" even after evaluating as so, but concluded on WAEC. Just a complete waste of time and money. I advise that no one should evaluate ICAN with WES. IQAS is the only option i have got left to summarise it as "Two years professional study" abd increase my score from spouse contribution. From what I read, I think there will be some changes in the crs score as from 19th of November. I don't fully understand it but there will be changes especially with points accrued from educational qualifications

Law is very wide and can be related to international business management...that's if you do your research well.

Your 3 years experience in administration may also help if your position/work is closely related to international business management. Can you state specifically what you do in administration? Is it finance related? Business related or management related?.

Your background in commercial law and business law should aid you in making your case to the VO.

However, it may prove very difficult to sell to the VO. My advice would be for you to look for other programs that are directly related to law. Have you considered ADR? Or better still a masters in business or commercial law.[/quote]
