http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl, roats-cut.html Fort Hood gunman had told US military colleagues that infidels should have their throats cut Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the gunman who killed 13 at America's Fort Hood military base, once gave a lecture to other doctors in which he said non-believers should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats. He also told colleagues at America's top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire. The outburst came during an hour-long talk Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, gave on the Koran in front of dozens of other doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington DC, where he worked for six years before arriving at Fort Hood in July. Colleagues had expected a discussion on a medical issue but were instead given an extremist interpretation of the Koran, which Hasan appeared to believe. It was the latest in a series of "red flags" about his state of mind that have emerged since the massacre at Fort Hood, America's largest military installation, on Thursday. Hasan, armed with two handguns including a semi-automatic pistol, walked into a processing centre for soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he killed 13 and injured more than 30. Fellow doctors have recounted how they were repeatedly harangued by Hasan about religion and that he openly claimed to be a "Muslim first and American second." One Army doctor who knew him said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim soldier had stopped fellow officers from filing formal complaints. Another, Dr Val Finnell, who took a course with him in 2007 at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland, did complain about Hasan's "anti-American rants." He said: "The system is not doing what it's supposed to do. He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or ship out. I really questioned his loyalty." Selena Coppa, an activist for Iraq Veterans Against the War, said: "This man was a psychiatrist and was working with other psychiatrists every day and they failed to notice how deeply disturbed someone right in their midst was." One of Hasan's neighbours described how on the day of the massacre, about 9am, he gave her a Koran and told her: "I'm going to do good work for God" before leaving for the base. A civilian police officer who shot him, bringing the rampage to an end, said Hasan appeared "calm" during the massacre, hiding behind a telephone pole and shooting fellow soldiers in the back as they tried to get away. "He was firing at people as they were trying to run and hide, said Sgt Mark Todd. "Then he turned and fired a couple of rounds at me. I didn't hear him say a word, he just turned and fired." Hasan flinched after he was shot and slid down against the pole still clutching his gun, which had a laser sight on it. The officer kicked away the weapon and handcuffed him. He said: "The guy was breathing, his eyes were blinking. I could tell that he was fading out and he didn't say anything. He was just kind of blinking." Senator Joe Lieberman, who chairs the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security, said there had been "strong warning signs" that Hasan was an "Islamist extremist". The committee would ask "whether the Army missed warning signs that should have led them to essentially discharge him, he said. He added: "The US Army has to have zero tolerance. He should have been gone." But General George Casey, the Army's Chief of Staff, said it was "speculation" that military authorities failed to pick up on warning signs. "I don't want to say that we missed it," he said. Asked if military authorities had missed warning signs Gen Casey, the Army's Chief of Staff, added: "We have to go back and look at ourselves ,and ask ourselves the hard questions. Are we doing the right things? We will learn from this. "It's too early to draw conclusions but we will ask ourselves the hard questions about what we are doing and the changes we should make as a result of this." |

naliakar: This group does make a lot of sense since the highlighted part above is very true. The more religious a Muslim gets, the more he wants to accept all the teachings of Mohammed, the more violent he gets to wards non Muslims. There are no Christians or non Muslims serving in Saudi Army and that of many Islamic nations ,have you condemned that yet?2 faced hypocrites. Have you even had the courage to denounce the killing of an Islamic convert to Christianity in these God forsaken Muslim countries? |

Ikomi: forget that sentence before we take the discussion on another tangent. Haven't you heard these Muslims call women who are not dressed like ojuju Calabar naked women. Why can't they stay in the places where the women are dressed up and kept behind locked doors. The knuckle head in this story gladly (passing for an American) accepted American training up to free medical training but when it came to war he quickly shouted allahu akhbar and went a-shooting. He should have joined the Palestinian army why didn't he? Why join an army of a country you detest, na by force? Muslims are not obligated by their religion to be truthful, that is what most people don't realise. Muslims can lie if it furthers the course of Islam and America ought to know this fact. Oaths and treaties mean nothing to them. Their first allegiance always is Islam and if it means killing Americans so be it |

In Jordan where this idiot's family hails from can a professed Christian serve in the military. what about Saudi and Pakistan? Can he wear a cross like this idiot wears a heavy beard and his flowing maxi? Only in America would they allow these folks equal opportunities yet they are not satisfied, they still want us dead while they shout their murderous war cry allahu akhbar. Christians in their part of the world can't even build churches and worship their God in peace. intolerant bunch The slowpoke gave out his tattered koran to his neighbors, can a Christian pass out Gideon's Bibles even in the streets of Zamfara state without abuzola-like folks asking for his blood? That is what these Muslims do They exploit these free countries for their gains and want to destroy them at all costs and drag them into the rot in their countries that they are running away from. America is full of loose women they say yet they are trooping over here, some with forged papers to look at the loose women. why? |

Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base in a murderous rampage that officials believe was carried out by an Army doctor. Gunman kills at least 7 and wounds 12 at Fort Hood. The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Nadal Malik Hasan, who is psychologist or a psychiatrist. He was promoted to major status in May, according to the Army Times. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas, told Fox News that military sources informed her that the gunman was about to be deployed to Iraq. The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said. Hasan allegedly opened fire and killed 11 people on the base before he was shot dead, bringing the total number of fatalities to 12. The general said there were "eyewitness accounts of more than one shooter," and the others were tracked to an adjacent facility. Cone called the attack "a terrible tragedy, stunning." He said the community was "absolutely devastated." President Obama called the Fort Hood shootings a "horrific outburst of violence." "It is difficult enough to lose" soldiers overseas, but it is "horrifying that they should lose their lives at an Army base in the U.S.," he said. The Senate and the House of Representatives held a moment of silence this evening for the victims of the Fort Hood massacre. Texas Gov. Rick Perry ordered flags be flown at half mast until Sunday. Cone said the motive for the attack, which took place just after 1:30 p.m. CT, is unclear. According to sources, Hasan, who is either 39 or 40, attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He graduated in 2003 with a degree in Osteopathy and later finished his residency as a psychiatrist. In 2009, Hasan completed a fellowship in Disaster and Preventive Psychiatry at the Center for Traumatic Stress. Fort Hood, located just 60 miles north from Austin, is the largest U.S. military installation in the world, and has suffered the greatest number of casualities of all American bases in the war on Iraq. The base is a 340 sq. mile facility located in Killeen, Texas and is home to the 1st Cavalry Division, which was one of the first groups of soldiers deployed to Iraq. Cone said that a gunman entered a facility known as the Soldier Readiness Facility, where soldiers who are preparing to deploy go for last minute medical check ups and dental treatment. Sources told ABC News that the soldiers gathered there were getting ready to deploy to Iraq. The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn't sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack. "The gunman opened fire and essentially due to the quick respond of the police forces was killed," said Cone. The shooter was killed by civilian law enforcement and one police officer died in the shootout, Cone said. The gunman's suspected accomplices were taken into custody in an adjacent facility known as the old SportsDome Complex. http://abcnews.go.com/WN/soldiers-killed-fort-hood-shooting/story?id=9007938 |

“ We have passed through series of military governors and military administrators down the line to the civilian governors. If you told me someone took their land or the indigenes refused to sell them a piece of land,I will be the first to side with them. They should be given slots in hajj and audience with Chime,I agree with that part but free land? absolutely not! |
Politics / Re: Yoruba Community Alleges Marginalisation In Enugu by 0sisi: 4:48pm On Nov 04, 2009 |
Adeyelu recalled that since governor Chime came on board, he had written about five letters seeking for audience with him, to let his government know the problems of the Yoruba community but unfortunately none of the letters was replied. Boo hoo!! A Yoruba military governor in Enugu state ,stole land and gave to his Yoruba community ,fast forward many years after, the land perhaps reverted to the rightful owners so what is the problem? Is there free land in Lagos and Ibadan? what right has Agbaje to give any land to any communities in Igbo land especially. They should be glad governor Chime is not charging them with accepting stolen property. If they want a piece of land to build a secretariat, let them work hard, save up money and purchase a piece of land like everyone else and stop crying marginalisation. Are there restaurants in Ikorodu serving free amala and here they are looking for free land ? Nonsense! |

Aloy~Emeka: have you seen the letter fom his schoolmate Room 101 KiriKiri Maximum Prison Olodi Apapa Lagos Dear Bode Do not be surprised that I am writing this letter to you in your fist name. The last letter I wrote to you was when you were the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, and I addressed you as Chief, Commondore, Sir, All in All Olabode George. At that time I needed your help to help'release' my goods somewhere. But now times have changed. You have lost the respect.Bode, am not surprised at your present predicament. You and Iknow you are a thief, but we both have been praying one day you will repent of your 'thiefing' ways. You and I know your stealing did not start at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). No. It has history. It started when you wereatIjebu-Ode Grammar School, 1960 -1964. You were stealing from other students, but everybody thought, by the time you were matured enough you will outgrow it. No. Youwere stealing gari, sugar, kuli kuli etc. On so many occassions you were reported toyour seniors but they couldnt do anything as youalways share the gariand kuli kuli with them. You managed your way through the Royal Naval Engineering College without any suspension or expulsion. You were commissioned. And in your first posting, as Director of Weapons at the Naval Headquarters in 1987 you were adding a few extra naira and kobo to every contract/tender than graced your table. You were not confident at all, then. Once you put the extra naira and kobo, I remember you always go back home praying hard so you wont be detected. You were never caught. So gradually your confidence rose. And moreso, as your boss at that time approved of your 'stealing' and shared some loots with you.It was this misfortune of your confidence that we were bestowed with inOndo State in your first major military (political) assignmentin 1987.You have now grown from the small boy that was stealing kuli kuli from fellowstudents to acare-less military administartor. And boyyou stole the state blind. And even boasting that the 'Lagos Boy' had come to teach us 'ara oke' some lessons. Not only did you steal with 'no respect', you turned 'small girls' of Ikere College of Education to tin gods by your association with them. You only needed to send government cars to Ikere and all the girls will be falling over themselves to get into the cars to journey to Akure to 'please' you. By the time they come back to the campus they were ready to slap their provost, because they have tasted of your 'wealth and power'.The obedient people of Ondo State (of whichEkiti waspart) could do nothing. Corruption was rife all over the country, so putting your hand in the state till was not at all surprising. But the scale you were doing this and with so much impunity was what enraged the people. We all kept quiet and pray that the omnipresent God will catch up with you one day, very soon. You were 'shooed' out of the Navy. And immediately you found a 'space' in the top hierachy of PDP, when Abubakar midwifed democracy third time around. No thanks to the money you stole from our dear Ondo State that you threw around to impress the leaders of the party. All the rest is history.Bode, you got the post of chairman of NPA, not on merit, but compensation for your effort in ensuring your party's good showing in OODUA states. But God knew in His infinite Wisdom that the NPA job will be your final undoing because He knows how greedy you are. And greed leads to destruction. You did not disappoint anybody on the scale of your greed. You handpicked your collaborators and you started your stealing spree. Sold most of NPA properties and inflated contracts. And with all these you were still going about colecting 'dues' from your party governors in Ekiti, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo and Osun States. Youhave no shame, at all.You became the toast of all ladies in the Lagos and Abuja social circuits. Your 'hat' became a symbol of riches, affluence and power. But God was only distinguishing you for a big shame that He wanted to bring on you. Because in you He saw an individual who had no love of his fellowmen at heart. A man with so much apetite for stealing.Bode, you are a disgrace to your family, wives, ex-girlfriends, and children. You are not a disgrace to your colleagues in your party or other parties. You are one out of many of them who are draining our country dry. You are one of the big guns who parade our cities, oppressing the common men, with the money they stole. There are so many like you in all the facets of the Nigerian polity, economy etc. But it is said in our adage, eniti ile mo ba ni ole (it is the one that is caught that is a thief). How many of our so called leaders can account for their wealth? How many of them have not dipped their hands in the public till? So many have abused their offices, stole billions and turned themselves to political gods. But we still celebrate them. Very soon, if they do not come before Justice Oyewole, they are all answerable to God Almighty. Bode, I know you are very happy at the judgement of Justice Oyewole. I saw a smile on your face when he delivered the judgement. A mere 30 months and you are back at your old self. You are lucky. You remember the sentences handed over to the Ambrose Alis, Mbakwes, Barkin Zuwos etc in the 80s. Some had 100 years for stealing justa fraction of what you stole. But Bode, see beyond the number of years and ask for atonement of all your sins. Your children, wives andrelations will carry your shame all their years. You are more like Oyenusi of the old. Nobody, to my knowledge, bears that name anymore. Your children are lucky, yours is an English name. But from now henceforth, people will ask them, which of the Georges are you? The shameless thief or the other George? I shall end this here, as I am beginning to realise you are hard to convince. In all these, you still nurture the thoughts that you were set up because you are a top notch of PDP? Ah! You are a dunce. And above all an OGBOLOGBO OLE.Ole, Wobia, Alajeju, Agba Iya.I pray God will forgive you, for what you indirectly made to happen to my goods (and other struggling Nigerians')at NPA some years back.See you after 30 months.Greet all the Ogbologbos in Kirikiri.babajide Se |
