Once your course or major has Crisco number, your school is participating in the SVP and you pay your tuition and OSHC, you are already under SVP.

These is a general advice..... If you planning to study in Australia, chose a regional location.. This will benefit you right from your Visa processing to PR application.. Avoid states like Queensland, Victoria and NSW...

. Yes I know but its one of the major cities with best opportunities when it comes to employment, cost of living and population density.. You can't compare WA with the states I mentioned above... And remember I mentioned states not regions....

. Why did you chose GT? Are you sure your school will accept it? Anyway if they will then you are In a safe side... GT is easier than AC.. I did AC.. All you need is confidence and don't panic esp in the listening.. I hope you had enough material to practice? I have 8.0 in reading, 7.5 in listening, 8.0 in writing and 7.5 in speaking and 8.0 overall.. Just trying to let you know that's no big deal.. Just confidence, enough prep and prayers...

... That's great for you Surveyor... I booked the material from British council for just 4k but mind you that only the Listening and speaking test sample from the disk was helpful.. My cousin provided me with a sample from Australia.. It was extremely helpful for the writing and reading practice.

Thanks. I got my admission without any English Language proficiency test result. Although I gave them my O'level,Diploma and B.Sc GSTs,GRE and waiver advice.

So I am doing this for Embassy to issue me my student visa and use it to reach the required 60points for my PR.

Mehn your bands' scores are whooping scary. I'm okay and confident I'll achieve it. I've prepared and practised enough, all I need now is to be calm and be healthy that day.

. I don't have much experience when it comes to skillselect but my advice is that you check the skills needed in regional areas in DIAC website... Go through www.immi.gov.au.. It helps a lot...

thanks for your prompt response. I will sure check it. I hold a B.A already in History and International Studies. So, am looking out for any course that have got good job and PR prospects in OZ in a relatively cheap university. Maybe u guys can help me out with recommendations to hasten my "catch up" since I'm already lagging behind. Tanx for the kind consideration. @ all

I have a BSc in Accounting and an MBA, have work experience in this field (Bank). But from previous post, the job prospect in this field its not as encouraging compared to Nusring. I know getting the admission will not be problem, will Visa be granted coming from my Finance and Social Science background.

Aunty Jenny, advise if the PR rote will be better for me.
