@AmericanVisa,

I am a passive reader of this thread. I know and understand everybody's situations and questions including those that already disappeared after they got what they wanted.

I want to advise you and others against future occurrence, it is something that devastate someone to know that the person you are open to has something hiding from you. Actions speak louder than words and it convey information about people. What you did can be likened to those of ten lepers Jesus healed, only one came back. Even Jesus was surprised to say "were not ten cleansed...".

Always apply this golden rule to whatever you do in life..."Do unto others the way you want them to do unto you...." Put yourself in the same position of those angry at you, how would you have felt if the table were turned?

This is not for you alone but others who got help here and disappeared because they already got what they wanted. If she decides to follow the way of those ones, this thread would have died long time ago.

Always give back everything in your power to the community that helped you. Its the golden rule of life. This is one of the many reasons why Nigeria is not moving forward, too many superstitious and selfish people.

I hope they can pardon you. Please, Jenny and others, have mercy on the guy....

@bellong
Do you know what's most insulting? Asking me about medicals when he had done it already. He is busy talking about another guy that disappeared from the thread and replied him angrily that he had got a visa. That guy is better off, that guy did not come to us asking us questions about medicals and visa application pretending like he had not applied when he had. He is still trying to justify his actions by giving us silly examples. I am serious, I don't want to have anything to do with @anericanvisa

You have every right under the heaven to be mad at him, he did something that can make the best of Men to become sad. However, I beg on his behalf that you pardon him. Keep the good works you have been doing, only the Lord will reward you bountifully.

@Americanvisa,

Rather than either keep apologising or log out as suggested, you were trying to justify your action. It is not a good attitude to do. Never try to justify your actions by comparing with another, it still will not make you right.
We have different tolerant levels to accommodate wrongs, what you have done may only deepen the anger towards you than justify you. Keep apologizing till you are forgiven... I wish you the best in your pursuits...

My brother, going to any country to violet immigration rules is not really good, it does not only harm to you but also to future applicants, if you wish to travel and reside abroad why not do it in a good way that will give you more chances to excel instead of creating unwanted discomfort for yourself, some times not as he promised that usually happens, most times revers may be the case and you start regretting after spending much money, this is just an advice though

hahaha. .been laughin hysterically @ dis reactions. . .
In as much as i vote that americanvisa be pardoned, discharged and acquitted. . .it is pertinent to note once again that to whom much is given, more is expected (cos of d way d Bros has been prying into every other person's details and intricacies) which is not somewhat wrong provided guys are ready to oblige him. However, nobody has been swindled(technically), so Mommy Jenny et al, pls do not kill an ant, sorry cricket with a sledge hammer. .
On d other hand, @americanvisa, d day i fanthomed that there could be somethin bogus/spooky abt you, was d day Ferdimako and Jenny suggested that u dnt sound like a doctor. .that day i was like, dis guy must be a traditional herbal medical practitioner. .my few cent cos i dnt relish d prospect of engagin in verbal/oral combat with some smartasses and ITKs on dis thread and nairaland @ large. Shalom!

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Americanvisa: 11:45am On Oct 29, 2013
@ Ropodinho10 Such your good profession, why not apply for diploma to get in if you have a good sponsor, that will be better for you, at least it is not expensive
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by crestline: 11:47am On Oct 29, 2013
jennykadry: Please people, if you are planning on just studying here and going back home, choose whatever course you like BUT if you are looking at getting your PR, you need to choose a good course. The fact that a profession is on the skilled list does not mean it is in serious demand. If you are coming in as a PR fine but as a student, look for the hottest amongst them. Also, I understand the city is beautiful, Melbourne is beautiful, so is sydney and Perth...but please look at country towns. It might be boring alright but living in a country town gives you good extra points and a better chance at PR. For example those going in for 18 months course and expecting sponsorship in the city nurses are in abundance there and your chances are slim, the same cannot be said of a country town. They need nurses, one nurse recently got free accomodation to work in a country town and got her PR. All she has to do is endure for 2 years, save heaps of money as she is not paying for accomodation or bills and move to Perth after 2 years. She visits Perth alot anyways on her days off. That's just nursing, same goes for hot professions as well.

'If you are coming in for 18months diploma course, please make sure you do your bachelor's. Enrolled nurses are not as hot as resgitered nurses. Infact, to study EN as a PR or citizen you had to pay 1,200 dollars but now PR's and cititzens will be paying 4k per semester from next year. Thats what they are doing to reduce the number of EN's. EN's are being sponsored though, don't get me wrong, just saying you should go further.Now if you go for RN please please please, specialize in something like ICU, Theatre, Emergency,Surgical, etc. Those specialist nurses are in demand here.

Your advice is always invaluable!!

Pls if this is your intention, then stay away from Australia before you further spoil the image of Nigerians going there legitimately.

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nwokenna: 12:21pm On Oct 29, 2013
My People, make una no vex eh. Am apologising on behalf of those that 'ran away' after recieving there Visa. The truth is that for most of us the goal is PR while for others the goal is to study and come back to 9ja. Whatever be you goal stick to it and God or whatever you believe in will crown your effort with success.

I feel a little compelled to speak to @american Visa geting a Visa to wherever is nothing but just the beginning of your Journey to Aussie. Its a cold world out there especially in Aussie unlike the UK where every street you can be lucky to see a black man or a Nigerian willing to help a fellow black man. But its not same with Nigerians in Aussie most are a bit skeptical to help a fellow Nigerian they can easily point you to a particular direction to take but few will be willing to take you by the hand and lead you to your destination.

Having said that, a lot of your family members in Nairaland are taken aback at your actions. I guess to you, it was taken in good faith but we are surprised and unhappy.

Its left for others to decide whether to forgive you or not. But I'll plead with you to drop such trait it doesnt say much good about you.

I wish all of us a fruitful week.

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by RedReact: 3:43pm On Oct 29, 2013
The person I would have expected to have held back information is Ferdimako; upon all what he faced during the IELTS exam, yet he never did. Obviously, I don't have any issue with Americanvisa at all because it doesnt deter anyone from moving forward, but it is a bad and inhumane of him to do such a thing. If any other person had done this, I wouldnt be bothered at all, but not this man that has anchored this place when some of us were not around. It is like playing smart and then labelling others unwanted.
Jenny woukdnt have flared up if this issue wasnt brought up in less than 2 weeks ago that I teased you and Ferdi about it and nothing was said about it. He (Americanvisa) even responded, but maybe in his mind, he was saying "just keep on waiting for me to talk, you dummies, while I keep on firing till I get what I am looking for. It doesnt speak well and good of you at all.
When I changed my mind not going to Australia again, I informed you my friends here, and was even advised that I informed the schools that gave me admission about my choices, which I heeded to. I did that because I regarded everyone here, especially Jenny, Ferdi, Cconcept, Goshen (unfortunately not here anymore), and Americanvisa in high regard. How come it is now AM that would now do this and feel we wont be hurt? Even if you had sent a mail to Jenny about what was happening, it would have been good, since she honored your mail with response. Real men dont behave like that and expect people to take them serious next time.

Believe me, I didnt see where he said he got visa at first, until when I started seeing grievances and I wholly justified the anger. Ferdii never hid anything he has been doing from us here, how come it is Americanvisa that would do such? It shows that deceptive nature in his character.
