It's been said here and we have been mentioning it times without number. Anyone whose duration of study is not up to 2yrs should kindly go for an advanced diploma in any college, and its duration must be up to 2yrs so as to qualify for PR. After you get that PR, you can apply for your MSc program, either part-time or full-time and can also pay the low few their citizens pay.
@Kellyemms, it doesn't matter. The reason why IELTS is more preferable to TOEFL is because former is British and Commonwealth thing, unlike the latter which is American. Nevertheless, you can get any of the 2, no problem.
@surecan, is your Msc from the faculty of Education? If not, I don't think so. You have to get a certificate from the faculty of education.

Hmm tough one. I know people here write the general test not academic for PR. You have to get a graduate visa first after studies (b4 PR) and they require "suitable English test", non specified. To be quite honest, you might be able o apply with your TOEFL if its still valid.

It's a good curse with lots of opportunities. Like I said,someone I know studied it in bunbury.

hmmm! Lot of protocols! Toefl last for just 2yrs! I wrote my toefl ibt Jan 2013, which mean to apply for PR after graduate visa I need to write anoda english text!

Sure, you should; but as for the sponsorship thing, I am not sure, except teachers are in high demand like nurses or mining engineers. What's duration of the program?

If that should expire,will they demand an English test from folk from USA and Canada for PR? I just registered for my TOEFL now for UB and Embassy,am good to go.Again if they want IELTS GT for PR, we will give them.Till then!

You will get a job as a teacher but sponsorship I am not sure of. I said it earlier that the fact that your occupation is on the skilled list does not guarantee you sponsorship. I say it again, a 2 year course is easier cos even If you don't get sponsored, you can sponsor yourself.

Are there jobs for teachers? Yes

I have not heard of an immigrant being sponsored here for a teaching job, not saying it hasn't happened ever, but not within te community of Nigerians I know
