I just got this in my quora feed, and I thought I should share the answer by Adeel Arif as we all may have experienced post purchase dissonance http://www.quora.com/What-can-one-do-to-avoid-revisiting-decisions-from-the-past Key lesson: "a decision is separate from its outcome. A good decision does not necessarily give you a great outcome, and conversely, a great outcome does not mean your decision was excellent" |

All these live trading access to NSE platform Morgan is preaching na wash...the platform is showing that there's no offer for FTNCOCOA, you can't even place an order at market price; it comes with there's no current offer on the floor, yet the stock is trading in hundreds of thousands almost every other minute. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Born2berich: 11:22am On Sep 08, 2014 |
AT this present stage, you wont see FTN Cocoa to buy on the floor after the news of the 40% take over by a US based firm. Expect it to rally upwards for sometime. BTW, oga myjoy08 any news about the oxygen boys? |

There is nothing wrong with the itrade platform. You can place an order for your desired stock. Do the Trade realtime>Orders>Buy routine Sir. Cross trades can also happen, remember Meristem alone had 47m units of this stock at a point in time, so they can for example sell using just cross trades. |

Born2berich: Yh i thought of that, but the issue is, if the rally just begun, why give your broker mandate to dispose of your holding? |

Do peeps honestly want to BUY FTN Cocoa now? I mean, like seriously? ![]() |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by passwelle: 11:33am On Sep 08, 2014 |
dsonofmaan: ^^Risk appetites differ. Some bought at 50k on Fri and if they sell today they can walk away with 10% net of transaction fees. That 10% is certain. That the US investors will come and buy at 75k is not 100% certain till they actually do. |

Dexterax: Do peeps honestly want to BUY FTN Cocoa now? I wont even advise anyone to buy FTN cocoa now due to this rally. There are other better stocks out there waiting to be cheery-picked. #Never pursue a moving train# |
