Hi guys. I am about to update my s3 to 4.3(jellybean).
Pls, is there anything i should be worried about?

P.S, my phone is not rooted.

my s3 keeps hangin.... i just did factory reset and it still keeps hangin. what do i do? whenever it hangs i hv to remove the battery n reboot

If you did full wipe and it is still hanging, could it be an app you installed? IF you didn't full wipe, full wipe it from recovery mode. DOn't know how to get to recovery mode? Read first few pages.

NOTE: Wiping in Stock Samsung Recovery will wipe all the data in the internal sd. SO Backup whatever u need from there to ur memory card or better still, PC first!

Also, post ur current setup. ROM, build, kernel let me have a looksy. Settings > About phone then scroll to the end. The information there...

Is the OTA available for nigeria? I doubt it is... Anyways.. the only available one i see now is 'I9300XXUGMJ9' for the UK, which i heard it has battery drain issue. I will confrim from my Indian friend that flashed it yesterday and let you know. Cheers

I notice most people don't run on this particular ROM but its what I bumped into when I started with my Samsung S3 international to be precise. CYANOGENMOD. It's been stable ad OK but I think I'm tired of it. Suggestions for other Roms please. I need something stable, saves battery life, fast and easy to use and of course of reasonable downloadable size.

I'm thinking of 'Android revolution'. If you've used it before please tell me how it is. Thanks

the only way you'll get to know which ROMs is beat for your device is if you experiment... just enter XDA and go to the s3 section and start experimenting on the ROMs there...read user reviews of the Roma first before you flash.... eventually you'll get the ideal ROM that suits your taste... You can start from Alliance ROM (the ROM is based on stock Samsung ROM...flashed it on my device once...seemed smooth..but twas rather ugly.. as Samsung stock ROMs are...so I flashed another) and Avatar ROM an AOSP based ROM...stock Google...with some modifications... really nice)...

and many other ROMs on XDA... enjoy

dis was send from abroad running custom rom
but is not rooted.i want know if fone can be on custom rom nd is not rooted.
