I kind of agree with Soludo - you wouldn't understand unless you handled some terribly dirty naira not Soludo should work toward introducing better quality (durable) Naira note. Furthermore, I understand where KSA is coming from; how would a waiter feel if Alan Green-Span bans giving tips at all restaurant in United States? Absolutely terrible! Soludo should use his brain to be more creative, work toward elevating our retarded economy and stop this senseless simple-minded strategy. |

Regarding a ban for spraying. Personally I think it's a waste of time enforcing such nonsense. There are better things to focus on than arresting women in tight jeans and couples being sprayed on at a wedding. They should be more concerned about the airpolution from the millions of generators and seek ways of providing electricity They should also be more concerned about the thousands dying from drinking "pure" water. It's so like Nigeria to major on minor issues. But if it's already law,people ought to obey it so we don't have shoot outs at owa nbes you all now how those kwashiokor ridden policemen can get |

You do know that the USA has more bills subjected to trampling each night than Nigeria does and you do not see Bernanke coming out to make claims such as the one Soludo made about spraying  ? Go around the Usa each night and you might be suprised that spraying is not local to Nigeria. It happens every single night in strip clubs around the country, in parties from California to NY by Nigerians and people of every nation and No, the dollar is actually quit durable. KSA should think well before talking. How do you rationalize the trampling of currency notes in the name of spraying? I read the article, and he said that notes are pasted on musicians' faces. Pasting fresh Naira notes on a musician's sweaty face is the same thing as trampling it. I support soludo. |

I'm sure the restaurants, cab drivers, street boys don't mess with the dollar bill like we do. Besides, why would they, when most of the transactions are done electronically. That the dollar bill is stronger than the naira not in terms of durability doesn't make enough reason to "rough handle" the naira. Big B1: This goes a long way to show us that many challanging the law were being selfish. These musicians dont need spraying of Naira to survive. All they need is surpport from you, i and the necessary government agencies to drastically minimize piracy. I was seeing a Nigerian movie recently and my friend noticed that people were being unnecessarilly agressive in the movie. He asked me whether it's the way we shout in Nigeria? Before i could answer, my other Nigerian visitor aswered yes and went ahead to tell him that it's actually part of our culture. My friend was dazed. I could only imagine her thoughts. Barbarism!
