Can I make a suggestion? Yes!
Well, since it seems that Emefena's time has been shortened, is it possible to give her one extra day? I know it might encroach on the subsequent writers' time but it could be amended all round. Or are the set times cast in stone?

For this reason, I'll also advise that if any writer has his/her story ready before the deadline can just post it to avoid this kind of situation occuring again.

Redmoss, your excuse ehn...grin

Nice words there Brokoto, thanks...

But there's really no need for that. Let's not cause any more disruptions than need be. If I'm stuck or unable to meet my deadline, I'll give Larry a shout.

Hopefully though, it won't come to that.

You're right, sir. Let's wait and see Redmoss's update first. If we have to add one more day I'll change the time-table. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hmmm...THE ART OF BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS FROM A SOURLY VEXED WOMAN...
*Brings out note pad to take notes*
1-Ensure you * lie prostrate* while saying how sorry you are using sweet sounding words AS appropriate.
2-Kiss her toes...
3-Ensure you ask for *HER BIKINI PICS*.(THIS IS IMPORTANT)
And finally wed her...SHIKENA grin grin grin

Don't mind me dear, I keep forgetting that most of us here, myself included, are beginners, so don't let me judge too harshly. The truth is I was expecting a lot more from you, and I was quite disappointed by what I got. The whole work seemed...rushed...

Let's start with your tenses. Please go back and work on them. Remember what I mentioned on your 'New Year Gift' thread? Consistency.

Tautology- 11 biatches, 10 concubines, 100 ashies or something like that. Biatches, ashies...c'mon mehn!! Concubines are kept women. So are girlfriends. The whole thing seemed so puerile. . .

The building that burnt down was the house where Koko lived, not a hotel. Please make the necessary adjustments.

You mean to tell us Ode is being FRAMED?? isn't that a bit too early?

In all, the whole work seems rushed and below what I know Redmoss is capable of. Sorry for sounding the way I am, but I am a difficult person to impress.

Redmoss totally redirected the flow.

As intriguing the chapter is, there is an irregularity in the narrative techniques. The first two chapters were written in the past tense narration while Moss used the present. It's either Red is unfamiliar with the past tense narrative technique or he imposed his own style.

tthat got me thinking...I got a little bit confused when I read the first line and it was in present tense.....

Re: Nairaland Detection Club by MaziOmenuko: 10:03pm On Feb 17, 2013
Is it me or was that work rushed?

I've read it twice now and it sounded like the arthur just wanted to get back to his anatomy and physiology text books.

I don't envy aunty efe's position now, not one bit. Infact, I'm happy she's between me and the work I just read now. Let me cross my fingers and hope she gives more breath to this work; else I'm going to wake chief koko up from a nightmare, and we start over again.

I luv you moss.
