Yea. Mechanical collected. I don't think anyone outside elect and mech collected. Even d NAPTIN DG said dat they only take from those two groups.

How much are we going to be paid during the training(officer 2)? My calculation amt to approximately 108k per mth. All u need to do is put an addition sign where d multiplication sign is to get the basic . Also put an addition sign where d subraction sign is to get the full per annum pay. i think the 887k is for d allowance. GOODLUCK to all new TCN staff. pls comment on this if u think in d same direction

Yea...I'm a civil engr and I got the letter too -just that I'm not sure if we will be part of the Naptin training based on what the Naptin official said...

I think u r ryt. D 414k is wot u get for d training period ie 34k per month. After d training d lump sum of 887k wil b paid as training allowance. Then u wil be confirmed and start getting ur full salary monthly. It shud be up to 100k.

Meanwhile 23 engrs rejected d offer as they cud nt accept d take home. For me d training is important, am leaving a gud paying job for this on 2 grounds of Job security and gud prospect after training.

Naptin admin just responded to my email to them asking if accomodation would be provided, and the response is there would not be provision of accommodation for any trainee. Start making preparations for ur accommodations. I believe we could also network for accommodation through this forum.

i hav received my appointment letter and on it i saw a salary of N255,510 i.e N 232128.00 * N 23,382.00 = N 559,476.00
As you can see if we take the last amount and divide it with 12 , it will be 46,623 N per month. This is for officer IV post.
For officer ii , i can't remember your total summation but i know is around 73K after division. Remember Housing allowance is not included, also there are some allowances that were not included. So develop patient and have more hope.
