Well, I had no plans of buying it at more than the official GBP value (of 509.79) which is the price it was ordered from the UK online store. Yeah, with RebelSIM Cutter and Adapter, it should all be less than 130k NGN. |

Ex Inferis: Does it really affect anything? Your bar dropped by one and does it mean your calls will drop? or you cant use the 3g?. . . Absolutely not! Unless you in a low network area. . and the phone which is trying so hard to stay connected and then its signal is blocked. . . What ya expect. . |

lalaboi: i hardly believe the lecture was necessary, seeing as im no luddite. no one mentioned dropped calls, i said "attenuation", which simply means gripping it that way affects signal, which is obvious by the way the signal bars drop a couple of decibels. you dont have to have "no service" or dropped calls to prove that the iphone 4 design is flawed as far as the antenna is concerned. its not a deal breaker, but its there and im only proving it to counter precisely your kind of point of view. thing is, too many fanboys consider antennagate a myth. but this is one reality no field can distort. |

tumababa: No ave not been able to configure it with glo I did something today, I upgrade my Iphone 3g to the latest firmware and did the jailbraking usid redsnow, but after the whole process the Iphone wont accept my sim card again, its keep saying invalid sim card what should I do? |

@ Mr Twinskenny (aka FTA specialist) I am shocked that your having problems with this area considering yur fantastic knowledge of FTA, anyways, firstlty, i will explain two very important concepts to you, Jailbreak is different from Unlock, Jailbreak gives you access to install apps that are not approved officially by apple. its also gives you access to cydia which has the key to unlocking your phone (assuming your phone isnt factory unlocked). Unlock is the barriade removal implanted by apple or the orginal carrier. simple, Mr twinskenny, what you hv done now is to upgrade to ios4.1 (seriously, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING). i am guessing that you didnt bother doing research to know that once you upgrade to 4.1, your baseband upgrades to 5.14 which is not reversable, however, if you have a 3G, then you can jailbreak at 4.1 and wait for the unlock, at least, you hv a working iphone touch. peace |

moonraker: lol so u know me too well like this? anyway FTA is a different ball game entirely, now i know I made a mistake by upgrading to 4.1, but my problem now is that I cant even access the menu or other function of the iphone at all it stuck on USB ITUNES SCREEN. i ave restarted many time with no luck. at least if i can use some function like listening to music and watching my fav, movies for now it will do, till i wil be able to unlock, by the way am on 3G. I appreciate your help need more help though. |

ok here is the deal, go to this site http://iphwn.org/rs/redsn0w_win_0-9-6b1.zip download redsn0w download the official 4.1 ipsw from here http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/061-7932.20100908.3fgt5/iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw launch redsn0w select your official 4.1 ipsw select cydia and ffg the instruction on putting ur phone in DFU mode, you will be hacktivated and jailbroken at the end of the wahala, but you will not be unlocked, sorry and gudluck, when you run into a brick wall, pls ask and dont just take masters into yur own hands FYI: this particular version is a BETA so use at ur own risk, |

if you want to keep your unlock on iphone dont upgrade to 4.1 for now. jailbreak for 4.1 iphone4 is expected to be out on 10/10/10 10:10:10 am says greenpois0n. so 3g/3gs guys shd still relax |
