mpi210:CIC will not give out nor compromise your card details. Unless you can issue a draft payable in CAD dollars ur best bet is either a credit or debit card |

mercylicious: Wes just wrote me that my document have gone for validation. They will need a reply from my school by mail.ok ooooMy area of specialization as I saw shege from WES.Close to 2 mths to get my eval back. First find out if your school verifies via email or hard copy. Then pay any neccessary fees, then 'settle' the officers in charge to do the needful and reply quick |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 5:44pm On Jul 19, 2013 |
I see WES has released a large number of evaluation reports in the last couple of hours. Whatever peeps in the forum will have to do has to be done now! I foresee that the next months will witness a surge in the number of complete applications. Please make haste now to submit your application as long as you have all the necessary documents for submission. |

Bwave: @LadyGuinivere, pls when am I likely to receive the hard copy of my WES evaluation report after the email notification I received on 19th of July stating that the evaluation had been completed, bear in mind I chose international express for mailing. Hey Bwave, long time. I believe folks will come to answer you soon but my concern is on IELTS GT. I will do again on 21 Sept but I really want a center that has and allows headsets to catch all my listening scores. My Australian Pr application requires me to make 7.0 or 8.0 all bands to rake in 10 or 20 points. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 2:21pm On Jul 20, 2013 |
@ferdimako, the centre in ph has good headsets, but one secret to scoring high in the listening is to read the questions and have them in mind as you are listening.Try and pick the answers as the tape is playing , if you miss anything don't make any attempt to try to remember or you will miss whatever is being said at that point in time.for the writing practice writing essays and get somebody (maybe an English teacher) to look at them. For reading, that was the cheapest for me , practice ordinary level English comprehension.for speaking , just use simple grammar, avoid hesitation while speaking and ensure your tenses are always correct. Just practice and don't worry about what you will score, am sure you will make at it easily, English language is what you have been using since nursery school. |

Thanks.I just hope Abuja center is in shape when it comes to headset usage (not what they acted last time, I'll still ring them before booking) if not I may go to PH. You gave me more than I expected! It looks like Canadian PR route has taken you.All the best. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 4:02pm On Jul 20, 2013 |
Bwave: 3,060AUD? That is not too much. How much is Canadian's? Again FWSP's 10,000CAD deposit evidence for settling down is not friendly to me oh. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 7:11pm On Jul 20, 2013 |
ferdimako:The Canadian app fee is just 550 CAD for a single applicant.the deposit is still ur money any way it goes. |

Hahahha you guys are funny I agree with Bwave though 3000 AUD is damn to much. Australian though also a nice country is known for its harsh stance on immigrant. That money is just to discourage people and at the end of the day they mess people up with flimsy reasons. The same thing they do when one wants to take professional exams in Australia For the evidence of 10,000CAD asper FSWP, its a well known fact that 95+ % of people arrange that account and at the end of the day whether you are denied or granted, the doe is still in their account This is not to discourage anyone but canada is easier to process and likelier to get Happy Sunday Nairalander! ferdimako: |

solomonwis:@Solomomn, Someone used a naira mastercard debit card to apply. CIC returned his application stating reason as "several attempts to charge fees with the card failed". I'm yet to see anyone who succeeded in using a naira debit card. Please can you clarify this? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 1:08am On Jul 22, 2013 |
mclarry: Has the person used the card for online payment before? There could have been a mismatch between the card details and what is entered on the application form. Please ask the person to cross check. I can confirm to you that somebody has used a GT Bank Naira Master card for payment with CIC and he has gotten confirmation that the amount was deducted. I understand some people have challenges with some Naira Master card. I have had challenges using GT Bank Naira Master card in the past for payments in the United Kingdom but I was able to overcome the challenges when I called GT Connect. He should get to know what the problem is by calling the issuing bank. |

solomonwis:Thanks Solomon for your response. Will ask the person about possible challenges that must have surfaced. |

My advise- for those paying with cards, make sure the account that the card is tied to does not have ur life savings. With ur pan no, ur expiry no and ccv, sumone can finish the money in your account, its not a must they know ur pin. Remember your application will transit, anything can happen along the line. If these bad boys know ppl are sending their pin details, they can just bribe the dispatch riders of the courier and collecting it enmass. |
