You called it easier ones right! Now tell me or show us the picture of where you attended school. Can't you see the look of schools in other country. With your comment it seems you're one of those that seat on the floor during your school days. RUBBISH. Education is one of the major thing Nigeria need the most.. Our educational system is poo. Enemies of progress. Park well.
|

An0nimus: Project has over-stayed. Show me any other governor that has built 120 schools since 2011. All the schools are not same size though. I believe they were built according to the expectant population of each area involved.

Whether it is true or not, Okorocha all the way. That man has affected the lives of Nigerian youths in so many positive ways that none of those other damned politicians have, or even attempted to. Okorocha all the way!! |
Re: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by greatgilbert: 8:15pm On Aug 04, 2013 |
Abagworo: It's a great technology BUT very wrongly applied! There's a way you arrange a school to make it conducive for learning, that place is not inspiring. Ask google what school looks like Blocks do not make a school, even Gov Amaechi's schools look more like it. Atleast, Rivers state is not that far so you don't have to look to Europe and America for examples. You are training leaders of tomorrow and not cattle rearing my brother. 1 Like |

Abagworo: Let me give you a few examples of what is wrong with that environment: 1- tarred major road adjacent to classroom windows 2- distractions from people doing PE (Physical Education is a subject at school or you don't know) 3- you have only 8hours per day for effective teaching/learner so that environment is not so arranged 4- 2013, technology, technology. I will tell you that I have been searching to see what was installed outside boy nothing oh I saw water-tank. No technology 5- somebody is confusing entrance/exit with fire-escape 6- ability for modern crowd control and security not visible Do you want more |

kel4soft: Rivers State has completed about 250 and will finish the remaining before end of next year. I believe Rochas took the idea from Amaechi who obviously has more money at his disposal. Equipping the schools is another issue which I'm yet to observe the standard of equipments in the schools.like quality laboratory and access to information technology. I believe we have to start from somewhere though. 1 Like |

Lordjunta: Pls we ar no longer kids here, any report or claim without any action pictures is as good as a Biology teaching without illustrations, history without dates. Rochas played into d hand of Gen. Buhari in 2003 and he was taught a red letter lesson. Now he has once again played into d hands of d combined Evil of Buhari and Tinubu. I weep for him. He wants to be president of Ogboko abi? Time wil tell. If it was the GEJ's report on the Nigerian economy overtaking the USA and China now, will you ask for pictures proof? if it was a news that says that Nigeria is a new memeber of G-8 will you ask for a proof? All of you the PDP paid online agents, will be ashamed of yourselves when you see the rapid developments in the Opposition states soon. Keepon defending the most functionless government in the world and continue to oppose every positive news from the performing opposition led states. How long did it take a small boy like Faure Essozinma Enyadema of Togo to bring visible changes in his poor country Togo? while the empty Giant of Africa is going down to the grave. Africa need vissible developments and not on the pages of newspapers and malaria dreams developments we are hearing in Nigeria.Rochas is working. You are nobody to ask for pictures proof, with your watery brain fools who clicked like to your posted trash. |

Imanuelle: The article was on and on about owerri, with just a few lines talking about the school.Rochas did not reduce Imo to Owerri, rather on the contrary he took development to the hitherto abandoned glorified villages like Orlu and Okigwe, today, those two places can be termed emerging cities. |

Is this 120 schools built by okorocha? He built this one lumped up hot in the name of school. okorocha is a failure. That is a fact! There is no amount of propaganda that can change the fact that imo state has been unlucky with leaders from ohakin and now okorocha. You people should wise up and elect a fraud-free gov. |
Re: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by mygee33(m): 10:08pm On Aug 04, 2013 |
I wonder how everybody now "resides" in Owerri just to ridicule Okorocha. I dont love him neither do I HATE him But when it come to government of/for the people, he is far better than OHAKIM. This is why most people love him die. [s]He might not be a good administrator and a politics[/s], but SCORES very high in Infrastructural development. Believe it or not, he is building the schools. I cannot categorically say he has completed 120, but the structures are on ground---not on AIT and Niaraland.

So,where are the world-standard schools Abagworo boasted about ? |
Re: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by Nobody: 10:22pm On Aug 04, 2013 |
Abagworo: the school you have in the picture you uploaded is probably the best he built . I know that one on wetheral, that's even why the pedestrian bridge was constructed. But I hope you will agree , that the school structure on wetheral is not same for all 120.. some others are just 2 classroom blocks . some are more, some are less. 1 Like |

Re: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by Abagworo(m): 10:28pm On Aug 04, 2013 |
Imanuelle: Don't mind the jealous man. Abagworo never wrote world standard because I've never seen nor heard of a world standard public school in Nigeria. Amaechi's schools seem to be the best but they are not even up to South Africa standard not to talk of China, Japan and USA. |
Re: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by mygee33(m): 10:41pm On Aug 04, 2013 |
When u look at them, they all look alike Just little changes outside or inside and don't forget the construction is by the same company I guess. That deals with de slow pace of work. I got from de grape vine its being reviewed. Imanuelle: Abagworo: Mbaise

One_Naira: Out of curiosity, are the pictures in the first page, the school the article speaks of? if so, i pity imo state.I was disappointed when I saw the pictures that was displayed, why would the op display an uncompleted structure when there a plethora of decent and very classy schools comparable to any in the advanced countries built by Rochas, or is it a cheap attempt at sarcasm or what, Owerri city school at Wetheral road is completed and its structure could be compared to that of a tertiary institution, I also saw two other similar ones at Mbaise and I believe there are similar ones across the state. |
