I got information from a reliable source in youwin admin that the purpose of the interview is to determine the genuineness of your business plan and to fish out those that were helped with the proposal and this they can only know from your in-depth knowledge, composure and eloquence. They are not specialists in your field but psychologists . Note if they cant fish anyone that was helped out ., we all will get the grant though amount given will be reduce.

Is someone interviewed by Panel 7 yesterday in Abuja being the 30th, Aug. 2014? If yes, how do you see the Judges interms of their questions?

Cost of conducting the interview is not a big deal @ all for them as I learnt..I heard some awardees didn't collect their second tranche and some their 3rd tranche..in youwin 1 and 2.......so they r funded and loaded

yes the number would be cut down. but i believe this will not be from applicants that made effort to defend their plan. applicants that have problem with their requirement at the verification table i.e applicants that were not allowed to be interviewed due to them not providing the necessary documents needed,some applicant might not even come cos they cant defend their proposal, some that might be interviewed might give them self away due to sallow knowledge of their business. those are the applicant i believe would be fished out otherwise i dont think if u were able to go through all the processes correctly u would have a problem. all the same tension still d ground oh!!!!! i tire self. i no of some one that was not interview because she was not having her tax clearance, that is automatic disqualification now.it is really terrible.

Also the panels that were tough is not just a coincidence, the candidates selected to be interviewed by them have the highest scoring proposals and they are nominated for the presidential awards. why will they have to spend time in selecting a particular tough panel for a selected category of people while some panels will just gist with candidates. That doesn't happen if all have equal marks. why didn't they interview all randomly on a first come first serve basis ?. Guys we are all winners if you have defended and proven u wrote the plan yourself finish. believe it or not.

Why wont he give we the youths who are the future of this country our own National Cake that will still benefit the society and the nation at large.

We all know that the issue of employment is so pertinent in our country. If people who defended their proposal very well are thrown away because of limited slot, it will kill their morale. Sir, remember that after first round some people were dropped and after the second round some people were also dropped as usual. Now that we have scaled through two stages, dropping any of us that defended our proposal well during the last YouWin panel interview will cause more harm than good to us. the idea is good and laudable but doesn't feel well to me, I can't say why but It doesn't just feel right especially the message.

. Youwin states clearly that you must not deviate from your business plan, secondly you must complete each set milestone to qualify for your next trench. Most awardees end up using their cash for things other than their approved biz plan hoping to cover up somehow but when you can't defend your expenditure, you create doubt of your ability to judiciously make use of the balance. That temptation would come to even abscond but how about making efforts to be a boss, grow your business into a great firm. I encourage us all to put in our best as we receive our first trenches so as to encourage the government that first believed in us to dash us such huge sum to better our lives.

While you are free to solicit for increasing number of people to be awarded, I do not agree with your associating the YouWin grant to part of National Cake!
We are looking for grants to help us start a business (or expand existing businesses) and not looking for free money to use for other purposes.

You are perhaps one of the reasons why one of my panelists (panel 2) would say something like I am looking for free money!
I felt offended. While it is a grant that will not be repaid, I made it clear i wanted to raise money genuinely for the business.

Abeg those more knowledgeable than me should help out. I intend changing my business location, though within the state (just a change from one LGA to another, still close by). Will I be penalized for this, since it is way beyond the second stage? Pls I need answers. Thanks in advance

Been having issues with CAC. First, their systems were attacked, next, I am been called to remove a word in my memart. Hoping it comes out this week sha

If true, dat means dey are very strict and mean business in this third edition. They must have learnt some great things from d past 2 editions about how to improve and achieve YouWiN! objectives.
