Strictly really, I don't know where you are going with this exercise. It sounds like a fruitless endeavour. I propose a motion that we abandon this exercise with immediate effect.

I propose another motion that we create another thread for the panel members only. It doesn't need to be stickied. The mods can help with deleting any post that is not done by a panel member. People can still post and do suggestions here but that thread will be just for us.

A majority vote of 4 from panel member is all I require for these motions to pass.

This is coming a bit too late because that was the final task.

The whole exercise is meant to bring out the potential roadblocks to accomplishing the main task. Everyone is supposed to work as a team and not individually. Teamwork requires that you guys build relationships and not destroy it.

We see what happened with the real life scenario as regards Ishi's reluctance to seek help from one she finds too difficult. Almost everyone on this team is that difficult and despite the difficulty each teammate is expected to put aside personal grouse in order for the project to succeed.

If we can't ask each other for help when it is needed then there is no need to have a team in the first place.

With that I guess my job in bringing the team together is done.

You guys can now meet wherever you want and plan this thing.


If I have any input I will surely chip it in.

Now, seriously, this exercise is not meant to get you or the others to 'spill their guts' as suggested but to get a hands on experience of some sought. If I wanted you to 'spill your guts' I would have allowed you guys to reveal the individual's id when you asked.

The truth here is that this team is fragile because of the religious and irreligious divide. There exist this distrust which will not allow you guys to work effectively. If you guys allow those divisive factors eat too deep then it would affect the team.

Its best we address those issues upfront before starting the work, hence the need for the small tasks. Probably it didn't go as well as I hoped but now that we know, let's try and work as a unit.

So when are you guys starting? We need to set up the timelines.
