You're being cautious not to be called a "snitch". You don't want to comment on drug peddlers but if I come to sell it to your kids, you'll be concerned.

You're not being honest with yourself.

This thread is about racism. Why should I be scared of being called a snitch. I am surrounded by proud hard working Nigerians who toil day and night to live. So I don't need to snitch. Or should I snitch on an offshore driller?

thegoodjoehunt: Stop hating your race. We are not drug dealers. We might have some that peddle but majority of us don't.

So if you are more concerned about speaking bad about your country men, good for you. This thread is about speaking against inhumanity and racism.

[b]I love Nigeria like a mother will love her child. I am from a very poor, hard working family, I want a better Nigeria. I want to see a generation where I'll tender my green passport anywhere and be told "welcome sir" without additional scrutiny. And I want to see that happen in my own generation.

I want to work in Nigeria too, and I'll return as soon as I'm done here so I don't hate my race believe me. But when you live abroad and have been opportune to visit (especially) SE Asia, and see Nigerians in their true habitat, you'll just want to grab them by the neck and choke them to death.

How can countrymen from a poor underdeveloped country like Nigeria spend 1.6M Naira on one batch of drinks. And they are not the only ones, others too everywhere in that club.

I don't go out at nights so maybe I'm not used to the norm of night life but if this is the way Nigerians spend money at nightclubs, then I'm afraid we are not any different from the politicians we criticise everyday on NL.

You live in Europe for God's sake, have you ever seen an European from a developed country spend a quarter of that even on his wedding day?

Why are we like this? We claim there are innocent Nigerians and criminals amongst us but we never deem it fit to report the criminal Nigerians to the proper authorities. I will not hesitate to report any drug peddler or Yahoozee gang if I ever come across them.

I didn't ask you about anything other than the issue on this tread. All I asked was

What is your take on the Nigerian drug peddlers in India.

That's all, please answer In all sincerity if you're truly a hard working and patriotic Nigerian.

And BTW this thread is not about racism, this tread is about a mob action against a Nigerian.

Drug peddling is wrong but I don't think we should focus on the pedlers but the drug takers. If everyone don't take drugs, the business won't florish. I grew up with the ideology of saying no to drugs. I will bring up my kids that way.

Secondly, you don't make it about Nigerians peddling drugs but take a stance against drug peddling. All nationals peddle and it is wrong.

That's all I care about. Don't tell me that the takers are at fault. Why must you make a market for it?

Why must Nigerians be involved in the most inhumane ways of getting rich? Lynching is unlawful and unjust but so does selling drugs to minors.

If this man being lynched is innocent and not a drug lord or peddler, innocent Nigerians in India should angrily point out those involve in the drug trade, so they can be arrested. Because if they don't, the Indians might attack another innocent Nigerian next time while the drug peddlers walk free.

We should always do the right thing. Report those involved in crimes to the proper authorities and save ourselves the embarrassment of being caught in the middle.

So you can compare these boys with a British millionaire whom we would call a billionaire or rather a trillionaire in Nigeria.

Charles Shaker - Director of Panglobal Brands Inc. Private wealth manager and financial adviser with deep root in the capital market.

You seem to be in support of immorality. I see no Nigerian is ready for change yet. Well I'm still gonna play me and do what I will always do. Good luck

Guy, when did I say the takers are at fault? I am talking on my view on drug peddling. Drugs kills and destroys the brain. Will you jump off a building and blame the floor? The solution is in teaching the young ones the harmful effects of drugs. Starve the market because drug bust and jail time isn't working.

Either way this thread isn't about drugs but inhumane racist act. Stop paintingthe victim bad to free the friminals.

Yes you said it "but I don't think we should focus on the pedlers but the drug taker"

God forbid if I have any intention of freeing the criminal. What the Indians did is unconstitutional and they must be prosecuted, on the other hand Nigerians involved in drug peddling and Yahoozee must also be fished out and prosecuted.

NIGERIANS LEARN TO RESPECT YOUR HOST COUNTRIES. Na bad thing say them give us Visa?

And please stop talking about this racism cos we don't know who the guy is or what he does in India. At least for now.

You're still trying to paint the victim black. He wasn't beating because he disrespected their country, it was because he was a Nigerian. Stop derailing the thread with hypocrisy. Tell the Americans, Germans and English who do it more than everyone. We should focus on the injustice committed.

Also you are focusing on drug peddlers and warning against drug dealing. Don't you think it is better you cry out as a medical practitioner sharing the harmful effects of taking hard drugs?

Now you don't know who he is and what he does. You saw him being tortured on tape and focused on drug dealing. Not caring if he is a student struggling to raise cash to meet his needs. The man he was with in the car could be his boss.

Yet you spent your time linking him with drug dealing.

I have but someone asked me to shut up and I did shut up. He said Marijuana is Medicinal, little did he know that Medicinal Marijuana is a selected breed and that's not what he is getting from his dealer.

It's true it does have some medicinal properties but not without the cross breeding of different selected cannabinoids (Cannabis Satilva, Cannabis Indica, etc.) to achieve a higher concentration of CNC, CBD and CBN and a reduction in THC toxicity content which has psychoactive properties of about 17%.

The Cannabis that gets you the high you so crave for is very dangerous to your health and can make you go crazy. I bet you didn't know that there are different species of cannabis.

Medicinal Marijuana is different from your "Weed/Pot/Igbo/whatever" you get from your dealer.

Take note and PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS.

[b]These are extracts from my comments regarding this issue here on this thread but Nigerians would rather wait for Jesus who's busy minding his own business to save them.

if Power, Water, education and infrastructure were put in place by the Govt, Nigerians wouldn't want to travel in the first place, and if we hadn't travelled, all these would have been avoided. So yes 90% of the blames should go to our present and past leaders.

would agree that 90% of the blame goes to our present and past leaders who made the country a living hell for its citizens and have driven its most valuable assets to find solace in hostile territories.

If Nigeria wasn't a banana republic and basic social amenities were put in place, I wouldn't be living abroad, and so does a huge number of Nigerians in diaspora.

If you are in any way logical in your thinking and your reasoning haven't been clouded by the ancient teaching of Moses and Jesus Christ, who haven't seen a computer in their lives, you'd reason with me that if basic social amenities were put in place in Nigeria, Nigerians wouldn't have travelled to India in the first place and if Nigerians haven't travelled to India, all these problems would have been avoided.

Even after repeatedly explaining to some Nigerians that the fault should go to the Government, they'll still argue with you

But why do you have to antagonise anyone who speaks the bitter truth? Could it be that you are a beneficiary of the dilapidated state of the Nigerian economy and you have something to loose if things are put in place.

What is your problem man? If you're not comfortable with the truth, do us a favour and kill yourself. The world will be a better place without people like you.

Enough of the quoting and drama, let's put a stop to it now. Americans do not go to any country to "live", they travel and return back to America.

But what is your point? That basic social amenities shouldn't be available to Nigerians? Man you're illogical together with your absconded friends who just returned from India. And you've been working too hard lately to make us believe that the lynching is about racism.

Enough of this, don't quote me ever again. We don't have to agree with each other and I'm fine with that.

You make assumptions too much. I gain nothing from the government, none of my family members is in the government.

That guy came in here and started with "quiet Idiots".

I am not an i.diot, neither are you. There are numerous threads and blogs which talk about things wrong in Nigeria.

I am saying what is wrong in the video. Even generalising Nigerians are drug dealers and maltreating them. Then you jump in and do the same.

You re an idiot for standing up for Nigerian drug peddlers in India who destroy the lives of India's most valuable assets (Their youths) by selling them drugs when you refuse to make a bold criticism against the Nigerian drug peddlers in India.

But when the Indians get frustrated and attack the drug peddlers who have destroyed their once loving community, they are racist, sadist and jealous of progressive Nigerians.

Goa is a small town and you cannot tell me that Nigerians don't know other Nigerians who peddle drugs. That's unrealistic.

[b]Take a look at that video of Nigerians protesting over the murder in Goa, is that the right way to protest even if you're aggrieved by the death of your friend?

*Dragging the corpse down from the van.

*Impeding autopsy and investigation.

*Causing an unrest in a foreign land.

*Disrespecting the dead which is against the tradition of the Indians.

*Causing psychological trauma to men, women and children who had to see a corpse as they drive pass it.

*Obstructing the flow of traffic in your host country.

*Breaking bottles

*Threaten the Goa police who didn't kill your friend but were there to restore order as their duty demand.

*Shouting and jumping here and there without clothes on.

*Vandalising Government property (Removing the road demarcation from its rightful place to be used as a barricade can be indicted as an act of vandalism in a Law court)

Let's drop the sentiments here, are those the Nigerian business men in Goa? Those Nigerians I see on that video doesn't look like the better representatives of an educated or a business minded Nigerian.

That is not a semi-civil way of protesting the murder of a friend. The nuisance they constituted in that video was totally unnecessary and uncivilised and it sends a negative image of Nigerians generally.

That is not a semi-civil way of protesting the murder of a friend. The nuisance they constituted in that video was totally unnecessary and uncivilised and it sends a negative image of Nigerians generally.

Read my previous comments, I don't support it either. My problem is that most Nigerians engage in this drug crimes in India and other Nigerians refuse to point them out to the proper authorities, just because they don't want to be called a "Snitch".

Now it is everyone's problem right? The entire Nigerian community abroad and back home have been labelled drug peddlers in India. Do I make any sense to you or not?

How can you confidently bleat most Nigerians are into drugs. Which extensive statistics was used to arrive at your depraved and heavily flawed inference.

Maybe you were into illicit drug peddling in your "claimed" sojourn in Asia.

Drug peddling is not even our culture. In America, drugs are being sold on the streets. Yet this guy wants to tag Nigerians drug dealers. If we don't accept his tag, we are supporting corruption.

See reasoning.

thegoodjoehunt: Where did I uphold immorality? Where did I uphold waste? You said no business man can spend larvishly and I showed you one.

If you are criticizing the protest, it is a different case but you went around painting Nigerians black. Please are you done calling me names?

You uphold corruption to the highest degree, and support thieves. I said what i said and i still quote "No educated person, genuine businessman, civil servant or laborer would go to a club and buy 40 bottles of Champagne at N40,000 per bottle, use some to wash his face and hands, drink a little and throw the rest on the floor."

Where did these supposed students in Malaysia get all that money? And all you could do was to point me a link to a British director, investments and financial adviser who bought a bottle of champagne for 300,000 pounds. Didn't you show a strong support of corruption when you pointed that link? If you don't uphold corruption, show me where you criticized their act.

Pretend you don't know about the Goa protest, well here is a link
