kelvgr8: What does '50% of private jets are owned by Anambra people' got to do with the yearnings of a common man to eat three square meals in a day. Is the president trying to encourage people to buy more private jets?

Mr. President, I think you can do better!

You sound like an APC charlatan.

If Buhari has said this, or Ojuyobo Tinubu, you will all hail them as heroes. Nonsense. What is the context at which he made this statement?

Enough of bullshiit, enough of sitdown look, enough of suffering and smiling. cry The masses are to take the largest portion of the blame tho, one wonders when pple will stop making sensitive choices like who's going to lead them and control their finances, based on unfounded, trivial and biased sentiments, to their detriment and that of innocent generations yet unborn. angry

Lmao! From their accent, one would understand why some or most of 'em are relatively unlettered but to make up for that, they are quite enterprising, No question about that, I like the Igbos anyway

The Anambra outing for which Mr Jonathan shunned the FEC meeting and Commonwealth meeting has turned out to be a disgrace and an affront to all men of decency.

I can't believe that a President that's worth to be called a President for all Nigerians sat there while someone said Ngige went to join the Awolowo people that killed the Igbos! shocked shocked

You mean a President that swore and promised to uphold the unity of Nigerians was present while this divisive and inciting statement was made?

This is a new one for Mr Jonathan Goodluck.

Feed ignorant people what they want to hear and you have them exactly where you want them.

The OP clearly didn't want to quote the content by which these statements where made, just so the malice can be more appealing to everyone with little mind.

If this post was about how all the characters mentioned in the topic praised the former governor of Idemmili local govt (Ngige). The hypocritical nicompoops will temporary say he has spoken well, and wait till next time he doesn't speak nor act in accordance with their dubious affiliation.

The PDP knows what the electorates wants to hear, and they have spoken it just the way it will appeal to the electorates.

Until NL decides to hold elections, your opinions, anger, wisdom and reverse intelligence will all be useful to google index bots and not to the good people of Ananbra state.

Rooting for Obiano or Uba.

At Goodluck Jonathan's last media chat, he gave an information about how the Finance Minister told during their trip to New-York to entertain the UN General Assembly with their most comical presentation, that a recently published report suggested that on the list of problems bedeviling an aspiring entrepreneur in Nigeria, corruption is No 3 or 4 and not No 1 or No 2 as most Nigerians had thought. But when the Channels TV journalist on the panel: (I think she is called) Gloria Umer-Ezeoke asked Jonathan what are the first and second factors hindering this economic developmental activity. Dull-PRESIDENT Jonathan replied that he can't remember. This is a man who has been employed by All Nigerians to solve problems, and here he is not remembering the problems he should be solving? Ha!!! From which hole did this man crawl out? Where does he wants to destroy us by asking for another term in 2015?

At that media chat, they asked Jonathan about whether the leader of Boko-Haram was dead, he said he doesn't know since he is not in-charge of security. He said the service chiefs are in-charge and we should all allowed them to their job. Sadly, this is the man they call C-in-C.

During Jonathan's media chat before the last one, they asked him about the economy. He said he is not the one running the economy, that the professionals are?

So, what does this man actually know or do or what is he in-charge of in Nigeria ?

Most right thinking Nigerians will not be against the wishes of the South South people to have a second term presidency in 2015. But they should please get their elders together and give us someone else -a smart candidate. Then, let's see who will say they can't have a second term. As it it now, this man makes it hard to make a case for a second term presidency for the South South people. Because voting for a dull-head like him, will be a dis-service to everyone's future generation. The setback he is causing Nigeria can not be seen immediately, but will in many years to come. This man with a PhD, but who can't talk, can't think, can't communicate etc, is the practical example of the ills of the Nigerian education system.

God please, help us -and forgive our sin and push this punishment away from us. This man

Op. I mean no insult, u are a 'learner'! Every politically enligthened person who attends party meetings and campaigns know that these type of statements are common during such gatherings, be it pdp, apc anpp, Lp or any other party. Even during the the last APC rally, an APC Party executive said APC means Aspirin, Panadol and Coedine! Party meetings, rallies and campaigns are usually a platform for bragging, flattery and of course fake promises that would never be fulfilled.

Baba_Eleko: Yesterday, the entire People’s Democratic Party appeared to descend on Anambra to push the gubernatorial candidate, Tony Nwoye into winning an election many pundits think he won’t. He has been involved in litigation over who is candidate for the pasty for the past few months – and has been late to the campaign trail.

Drunk on the wine of now-possible success, the PDP bigwigs at the event – including President Goodluck Jonathan – found it a bit difficult to control their tongues. We bring you some of the statements, thanks to Premium Times, that were so bad, they’re almost unbelievable

“50 per cent of the private jets in Nigeria are owned by Anambra people” – President Goodluck Jonathan

“I told Gov. Obi to hand over to this young man,” – PDP chairman, Bamanga Tukur

“Today we have for the first time in history, a candidate from Anambra North. I’m sure that the people of Anambra North will do anything to put their son, Comrade Tony Nwoye, into the Government House come 2014” – Senator Margaret Okadigbo

“If it is not Panadol it can never be like Panadol. This is a party that is deporting your sons and daughters and demolishing their shops” – Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio said.

“Mr. President, kidnapping in Anambra is a lucrative business” – Governorship candidate, Tony Nwoye

However, it was apparently PDP board of trustees member and billionaire chairman of Orient Petroleum that went on the most expansive roll:

Take 1: “For many years the orphans and widows in this state were neglected, until God brought Jonathan from a village in Otuoke. The same thing happened to Tony Nwoye, from a village called Nsugbe. They have no money,” Mr. Eze said.

Take 2: “That short man called Ngige, we gave him power and he went and joined Awolowo’s people; the people that killed the Igbos.”

Take 3: “Peter Obi, we gave him power, he did not conduct election for eight years. He was busy building mansions and marble houses everywhere.”

Take 4: “Anambra people, let us change your lives while we are still alive.”

And for good measure, he appears to be in tune with the life expectancy average in Nigeria under the leadership of his favourite president.

“”I’m 65 years,” Mr. Eze declared at the rally. “And I’ll die very soon.”

Let no one stand between an old man and his wishes.
